From what I understand (and you could notice it on the broadcast) the announcing suddenly became audible in the entire arena during the match after an especially loud "Goldberg" chant. That allowed the WWE to plant their own sounds in the arena along with the announcers' commentary, such as canned "feed me more" chants to either get the audience to go with it (via the herd effect) or just to make it seem to the home audience that he was getting over.

Also - I don't make excuses. The Rundown was supposed to be up on Saturday, ESPECIALLY before a PPV as that starts off next week's Rundown. I seriously considered just missing the week because I knew I wouldn't be able to make it on par with my usual ones, but I made the decision to post this week's hasty Rundown instead. Perhaps that was a mistake, but there's nothing I can do about it now.

Yes, definitely mailed in this week because of HUGE time constraints. I actually watched both RAW and SD! today as I didn't have the time the whole week - and RAW moving to 3 hours definitely hasn't made it any easier. I had a show on Thursday that including debuting a new gimmick, so I had to prepare a lot for it (hopefully the video will be accessible in the coming week and if I'll get an OK from the higher-ups I'll post it in the next Rundown or the one afterwards) as well as school stuff to take care of all week long. This and last week were definitely one-offs, and I'll be back in fighting shape next week. However, with the school year starting after next week I may, in fact, have to scale back to making these a monthly feature about general happenings in the world of wrestling. Hopefully it wouldn't have to come to that, but I won't lie - it is a possibility.

I agree with this, with the exception that I believe the Rundown needs to stay a weekly column. I look forward to eat every weekend. I had no complaints about last week, but I gotta agree this one was definitely mailed in. I would rather have waited until tomorrow and had it include more info. You could've included SummerSlam yesses and nos and used that as an excuse for it being late.

YES!!! - Guy's wrestling knowledge and insight, up until the last 2 weeks. Guy typically has picked up on things that I miss from the broadcasts and gets me thinking every Saturday

NO!!! - The last 2 rundowns. This one especially feels mailed in. I wouldn't be so harsh if I hadn't been a consistent reader before this. Guy I know how talented you are. You know this isn't your best effort. Maybe a good idea would be to make the Rundown a special feature for special weeks (ppv's, etc). Then you wouldn't have to worry about providing weaker columns like this, especially when there was so much more going on in a go home week to the 2nd biggest ppv of the year.

I totally agree with you on the Piper's Pit segment. It was totally off, Piper was totally off. The way he was constantly mumbling or interrupting the others was awkward. I mean it wasn't done as a heel's formula, but seemed like he simply didn't know what exactly he was doing. And the way he tried to get a chant going? If I didn't know better, I'd think he came out drunk..

Could someone explain how the matches of The Ryback have been edited? Didn't watch Raw a lot lately, but the impression I got was that "Feed me more" seemed to be pretty over with the fans.
