- We’re told the reason Rey Mysterio was pulled from the Elimination Chamber Match is because his personal issues are still not resolved. Mysterio posted a kayfabe Tweet that he missed Raw due to Mark Henry’s “attack.” You can read that at this

    I do not know what is going on with Rey but I hope that whatever it is that it ends well. With the amount of time that he has missed due to these personal issues it sounds like either someone that he is very close to is ill or his marriege is in trouble either way I wish him and his problem well. Rey is one of the greatest of all time to ever lace up a pair of boots and I would hate for his career to end now however if it is best for his personal life then I say by all means retire and handle your business.

    I can’t help but think these personal issues are drug related. He needs to clean up his act before we do an RIP segment for him .

    Whatever’s going on with Rey, drugs or not, he needs to get his shit sorted out fully and finally before he comes back again. Rey is a legendary performer but all this coming and going and secrecy and stuff is damaging that legacy, replacing stellar performances and athleticism with growing doubts about his health and his drug use.

    Take some time off, Rey, and take a long time off.
