- Kurt Angle is recovering from arthroscopic knee surgery that he underwent last week. The surgery was a simple clean out procedure and was a success. Angle is already rehabbing the injury and expects to return to TNA Wrestling after next month’s Lockdown pay-per-view. There has been some confusion about whether or not Angle would be back in time to face Ethan Carter III at Lockdown on March 9, 2014 in Miami, however, he currently plans to return after the pay-per-view.

Following this week’s episode of Impact Wrestling, the following bouts are set for next month’s Lockdown pay-per-view:

Steel Cage Match for the TNA Championship
- Magnus © vs. Samoa Joe

Lethal Lockdown Match
Winning team receives complete control of TNA.
- Team Dixie vs. Team MVP

TNA Lockdown 2014 will take place Sunday, March 9, 2014 from the BankUnited Center in Miami, Florida. We’ll have exclusive live play-by-play coverage here at WrestlingNewsWorld.com.

- This week’s episode of Impact Wrestling did an average viewing audience of 1,100,000 viewers on Spike TV. The show ended up with a 1.0 cable rating. The show was not listed in the top 100 shows on cable for the day on TV By the Numbers.
