WrestleMania 29 Officially Being Held At MetLife Stadium In New Jersey

The official WWE website has announced that WrestleMania 29 will take place on April 7, 2013 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, confirming earlier reports.

A press conference will be held tomorrow at the stadium at 11:00 AM, led by Vince McMahon, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, New York Giants President & CEO John Mara, and New York Jets Owner & CEO Woody Johnson, and featuring WWE Superstars such as John Cena, Triple H and Sheamus. In addition, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is scheduled to make a special appearance.

    That is weird…an outdoor venue in the Northeast during April. I mean yeah day time temps might be 55 or 60, but as the night comes in it'll drop into the 40's…that's pretty chilly to be walking around in tights….

    You don't how long i ha ve waited for this, i was too young for wrestlemania IV and V and everytime it was at the garden i didn't have the money, i am so there next year

    The stadium is big, but I'm a little worried about the weather issue. What's it like in NJ in spring time?

      It varies by year. This year it has been unusually warm for winter but it might not be the same the next year. NJ is actually a small state if your compare it's size to the other states around it. The air currents from the Atlantic & the currents coming from Canada bring in winds and change the temp & crazy ways sometimes. I can recall seeing snow fall in late April one time though.

      BTW, I literally jumped up out of my seat and did the Daniel Bryan "Yes! Yes! Yes!" when the announce was made. We win the Superbowl again & now we get a WrestleMania next year! That's cool and all, but can the city of the re-debut of ECW (Trenton) get some PPV love?

    Wm 30 will be in MSG, every ten wrestlemanias. They come to the garden. Surprise it’s coming to nj year early

    I believe you can get cheap “I was there” seats for 25-30 bucks. Look at WM28 prices for comparison purposes. They will be the same.

    seeing as there are still tickets left for this years wrestlemania, i decied to to do some research, the cheapest i found on ticketmaster are 38 for the extreme nosebleed sections, so with that in mind it should be around the same price, hopefully.
