Wrestlemania XXX Updates On Hulk Hogan & The Undertaker

We are aware there are reports out there with the possible return dates of Hulk Hogan and The Undertaker in WWE. Since we cannot confirm those dates, we will not post them. However, we can provide updates on both.

Hulk Hogan is back with WWE and the plan as of last week was for him to return to the company and guest host Wrestlemania XXX. This was The Rock’s role when he returned to WWE a few years ago and is the role tapped for Hogan. One issue regarding the Hulkster’s return to his former employer was neither Vince McMahon nor Triple H wanted a contract for him to return contingent on a match at Wrestlemania. We’re not saying there isn’t a chance Hogan doesn’t do something physical in his return to WWE, it’s just the company didn’t want a deal contingent on it. As noted, we cannot confirm a television return date for Hogan but he is expected back for the run up to Wrestlemania just as The Rock did a few years ago. WWE will also look to utilize Hogan as someone to entice lapsed fans to signup for the WWE Network. His inclusion on Wrestlemania XXX was seen as something vital to accomplish this goal.

The Undertaker is tapped to face Brock Lesnar in a match for the streak at this year’s Wrestlemania XXX pay-per-view. He’ll be returning to television in the build to the show to help promote it. Like with Hogan, we cannot confirm when this date will be.

I have ZERO problem with Hulk Hogan returning to the WWE to guest host WrestleMania. He has every right to be there, afterall the WWE is the house that he built and everything after him doesn’t happen if it weren’t for him including us coming on dirt sheets on a daily basis to read spoilers, debate and enjoy the watch parties. Bottom line is that Hulkmania is wrestling. However, I do get the feeling that we haven’t seen the last of him in the ring though. Something tells me that Vince & Hogan worked out a deal where maybe a angle get’s started at Mania or the day after on RAW that will lead to a match involving Hogan at Summerslam in what would officially be his last match.

I’d like to see him bodyslam someone at WrestleMania

      • Xavier

That would be cool and would a nice throwback moment.

      • Venom

Would be funny that one time he body slammed the heaviest person in wrestling (one of at least) maybe this time he can body slam Hornswoggle or El Torrito.

He’d probably do as much damage slamming Hornswoggle now as he did slamming Andre 27 years ago.

They will have to be EXTREMELY careful with Hogan and bumps due to his back. I agree that HH Hosting WMXXX is a great idea and he could very easily be featured in a spot like he did a few years ago when he helped Eugene lol. Brock facing taker? HELL NO!!!!! Brock does not deserve to face the dead man ; hell Brock should not even be in WWE. Brock is a freakish athlete but is a complete Diva and IMO does not deserve anything as he heavily relied on others to make him look good in the ring(( always has)) and IMO he was overrated in UFC as well. He beat Randy Couture on a punch that should have been a DQ(( backof head)) but it was not called and he can blame his ailment but he honestly does not have the HEART for UFC or even WWE

advantages of working for a company that provides services to WWE corporate travel, i can see the booking for both!

  • tone

    I’m guessing Feb 24th

  • Matt

They’re both coming back Monday Feb 24th.

  • Cubed56

Hulk Hogan and Undertaker are both coming back on Raw in Green Bay, WI on Feb 24th. Also HBK may be there as he is going to be at a car show on Saturday Feb. 22nd in Milwaukee, WI, which is only an hour and a half from Green Bay. I only write this as my friend Dylan(aka Hornswoggle) got back to me earlier today to tell me this. It makes sense since its the night after EC and is the night the network launches. I cannot wait as ill be in attendance an will be taking my 4 year old son to his first wwe event.

Am I the only one who read the title of the article as Wrestlemania XXX: Hulk Hogan Vs. The Undertaker?

  • Clint

I dont want to see Undertaker vs Lesnar

  • Gary Robert

Another Lesnar loss….the booking of this “unstoppable beast” is just seriously getting more pathetic with each match. Not interested in Lesnar/Taker.
