If this is legit than they are screwed for hiac!

    • Bigdaddychuck

I guess wwe wanted to cover their butts! If Cena had to be out for months that would be awesome. We need a break from him. He has been the face of the wwe for 9 years already

      • Bigdaddychuck

Why is #getwellsoonjohncena treading on twitter? Unbelievable!!! CM PUNK is our champion show some respect for him!!

        • Chris

More to the point, why are we going on the internet to wish someone ill health? Tool!

          • Bigdaddychuck

I never wished him ill. I said he needs to be gone for months.. Everyone in the iwc is sick of Cena.

  • Ken

Now I could ask if they'll tweak his character while he's off, but we know they won't.

Kinda screws up the Cena/Punk ref call cliffhanger from Raw, doesn't it?

  • Ellen

Does WWE think their "Universe" are all dumber than bricks? There is absolutely no way that the WWE learned this morning the John Cena had surgery today. Hope John feels better soon!

    • Ken

The abswer to your question, Ellen, is yes, the WWE does think their "Universe" are all dumber than bricks.

  • Spike westphal

Oh well it’s not the first time he been out for a couple of months at lest John cena hogging the main events is over for a time

    • izblack

Cena hogging the main event? Dude hasn’t been champion in over a year.

      • whitethought_

But the "dude" has been in the main event of every ppv this year regardless if he is champion or not (and he hasn't been which make matters worse).

      • Ken

No, but he's still been in the main events. Haven't you heard a word CM Punk has said?

      • MonsterMike42

No, but he's been in the main event of all but two PPVs this year.

  • AntGilroy

He will wrestle at HIAC. If not no big deal this is like when stone cold was recovering he will still be on tv. I like the rivalry between cena and punk.

    Rise Above Surgery

    • Ray

      LOL. Rise Above Divorce

  • Andrew Ace

He’s only out 2-3 weeks Hell in a Cell is over a month away

    • Ken

The article said 4-6 weeks initially, which would mean JC missing HIAC or returning with no time to build up his inclusion. It changed to 2-3 later.

  • aeaton45

Cena is only out 2-3 weeks hiac is not for 6 weeks! Cena will still be on TV just not wrestling! Come on people use ur brain

    • Ken

Originally the article said 4-6. It was changed to 2-3 afterwards.

  • Bishop

Interesting, I ended up asking about this in the Ask WNW section. He deserves some time off, if it’s surgery that got it for him…good for him regardless.

I wonder who Punk will be wrestling for the next couple weeks

  • Tony P.

Need to be out longer than that. Sick of seeing him.

  • Tna

Please let cena actually not be on raw and have the time off , he deserves a rest

    • Bishop

Keep him off tv for a while, let fans/viewers actually kind of miss him instead of forcing him down our throats every Raw.

  • Satan

    Go home, Cena!

  • Bluetrooperair

Bone chips??? I doubt that…I bet it was cosmetic surgery to treat the vain issues he has in his right arm…I bet those vains are painful and they look like they’ve gotten worse in the last coupls of months.

    • Ken

Isn't most cosmetic surgery about vain issues? Bigger breasts, tighter butt, new nose, lip fill…

      Oh, vein issues. Gotcha.

  • Jennifer Fuqua

So much Cena hate. :( My son and I love the guy and hope he’s back to 100% soon. Ready for him to beat CMDouche’s ass at HIAC.

  • Alex

I just saw John Cena at next week's Raw, impressive aint it?
