WWE Announces “See No Evil” Sequel Starring Kane

WWE Studios and Lionsgate have announced “See No Evil 2″ starring Kane as Jacob Goodnight.

The sequel is from the first WWE film and is scheduled to start production in fall 2013. Below is an excerpt from dot com’s coverage:

“See No Evil 2″ revives the nightmare of the first film when Jacob Goodnight rises from the dead in the city morgue after his killing spree at the Blackwell Hotel. In this ominous, underground locker for the dead, a group of medical students fight to survive as this deranged psychopath once again starts to pick them apart one by one.

Lionsgate will handle worldwide distribution and WWE Studios will utilize its assets to market the film.

I loved the first movie, and looking forward to the sequel! Maybe something will happen at SummerSlam in his match with Wyatt, writing him off of TV for filming.

Im looking forward to the sequel too but the first one came out when WWE wasn’t PG.
An R rated horror film might not be what WWE studios is looking to produce these days meaning we will get a toned down boring follow up to the original

I doubt it. Look at The Call and Dead Man Down. Both had quite a lot of violence.

        • big m

Yeah but those films are pretty tame compared to see no evil. Were talking serious blood and gore here not a suspense thriller or a shot em up.
The cry babies in middle America (who force this PG crap on the whole world by the way)
Will complain about violence and sex and drugs and anything in movies that doesn’t Center on The sky bully and so called “wholesome family values” will hate this movie but for some weird reason will ignore stuff like The Call or DMD.
Im Australian so I guess that makes me a little more open minded about film and TV and it also means as an open minded adult I get bored with children’s entertainers like Cena and movies about elves and leprechauns (sorry Hornswoogle) so it seems to me in order to keep Its family friendly image WWE will really tone down the Evil in See No Evil 2 and the film will suffer for it sadly.

I’m willing to bet the push the envelope with this one, not to mention they just did a movie last year that was rated R. No One Lives was an R rating, and apparently had TONS of blood.

        • big m

          I haven’t seen that one.
Was it a WWE studios Film I don’t watch to many of them.
My choice of film is usually pretty different from what WWE churns out.

          • Chris

I haven’t seen the movie, but it was rated R, and from what Brodus said the amount of blood used was almost absurd. It was a WWE Films product.

Thanks mate ill check it out.

  • Chris

    About damn time.

  • Hercules Rockerfeller

Finally! I mean they did so many sequels for the Marine and 12 Rounds, which sucked btw, why not do one where the first movie was actually a hit?

  • @Funkatastic The Mike McCarthy

In the words of the great one….”FINALLY!!!!!!”

  • Xavier

See No Evil was pretty bad but it made money so it makes sense to make a sequel. Hopefully another lame Kane vs Kane angle doesn’t come out of this though.

    • Chris

I don’t know, might result in Hankinson being brought back to the fold, that would be a positive.

  • Justin Lol

Thank God it’s not Punk or Bryan in a movie! It’d only be overrated and raved about by idiots with no idea or understanding of what good wrestlers, like Orton and Cena, are!

Seriously go get a job — you have too much time on your hands.
