Reason For Multiple Character Turns On WWE TV, The WWE Network Gets A "Do Or Die" Date, Triple H Looking To Pair WWE Hall Of Famer With Daniel Bryan?, How Rob Van Dam Will Be Booked In WWE

- The reason for the massive amount of character turns recently on WWE television has to do with Vince McMahon feeling the product was stale and being terrified about trying to launch the WWE Network with low ratings. We're being told the Network's "do or die" date is Wrestlemania XXX and if it's not launched a month before or after, it may not happen at all.

- Triple H recently contacted Shawn Michaels about doing an angle on down the line with Daniel Bryan. Remember it was Shawn that trained Brian and Hunter felt incorporating him in a storyline would be useful.

- Multiple creative plans for Rob Van Dam are being discussed. We already noted him as a possible Money in the Bank ladder match participant and there have been discussions about booking him in the top of the card.

How come WWE is having problems launching their WWE Network….Yet UFC had no problems lauching theirs recently.

UFC is more popular. Has a bigger following. Something that Vinny won’t acknowledge.

      • By what measure? Pretty bold claim to make without something to back it up. And Bryan trained at HBK’s Wrestling Academy in Texas.

HBK did not get down on the mat and showed Bryan the ropes. From what I have read he did have pointers for Bryan but Regal was more of an actual wrestling mentor for Bryan, more so than HBK. I do see, however, why pairing Bryan with HBK will be bigger and better for Bryan’s push, Shawn is a much bigger legend than Regal, at least in the WWE world.

UFC doesn’t actually have its own network. They just signed a huge deal with Fox. They are just the anchor of Fox Sports 1.

I’d raither see Regal paired with Daniel Bryan….He trained him not HBK.

he was trained at HBK’s school in Texas first when DB started out

I love the idea of HBK being paired with Bryan.

Not so sure how I feel about RVD being placed in the main event scene, wouldn’t it make more sense for him to be placed in a upper midcard gatekeeper role similar to what Jericho or Kane is doing right now and work with and put newer talent over. I’ve never really seen RVD as a true main eventer.

Not a main eventer??? RVD is the whole F’n show!!!

      • Xavier

        Not really
