Cole asks if Cena will be able to retain his title, or if we’ll be crowning a new champion tonight. This leads into a video package highlighting how Cena found himself in this situation after winning the titles last month.
Randy Orton is the first man to make his way to the ring for the main event of the evening. Randy doesn’t get much of a reaction out of the fans, who haven’t been all that active outside of the opener really.
Kane is out next, and the big red machine also gets very little response out of the audience.
Roman Reigns is out next, coming through the crowd down to the ring. Reigns gets a bit of love from fans, bringing them to life.
John Cena is out last, and the Champion (carrying both titles) gets a mixed reaction out of the crowd.
Justin Roberts gives us formal ring introductions for all four men, and we’re finally ready to being.
WWE World Heavyweight Championship Fatal Four Way Match
John Cena vs. Randy Orton vs. Kane vs. Roman Reigns
The bell rings, and Orton and Kane pair off immediately, with Cena and Reigns on the same side of the ring by circumstance. Cena tosses Orton from the ring, while Kane and Reigns square off in the ring. Orton throws Cena into the ring steps on the floor. In the ring, Reigns is punching away at Kane, and Orton breaks it up. Reigns gets in a couple of shots on Orton, but Kane sends him to the mat and Orton and Kane stomp away. Orton and Kane score with clotheslines in the corner on Reigns, and Kane sends Cena to the floor with a big boot off the apron. Reigns gets to the middle rope and hits a flying double clothesline. Reigns goes for a suplex on Kane, but Orton interrupts, and Kane and Orton hit a double suplex on Reigns, with Orton scoring a two count.
Cena is in and he hits a suplex on Orton that’s good for a near fall. Orton chokes Cena with his boot while Kane sends Reigns head first into the ring post on the outside. Kane heads back into the ring and hits the side slam on Cena, setting Orton up for a near fall. Orton and Kane both get in a couple of shots on Cena. Kane tosses Reigns from the apron as Orton kicks at Cena. Cena comes back, shouldering Orton, but Orton is able to fight out, with Kane’s help.
Kane picks Cena up and sends him into the ropes for a back elbow, getting Orton another near fall. Orton stomps at Cena’s midsection, then his joints. Reigns gets up to the apron, and Kane sends him down, heading out to the floor. Reigns sends Kane head first into the ring apron. In the ring, Cena hits a couple of shoulder blocks and a belly to back suplex, following it up with a five knuckle shuffle. Cena shoulders Orton, but Orton grabs the top rope and falls out to the floor. Cena and Reigns are left in the ring, but they’re attacked by Kane and Orton.
Kane hits a big DDT on Reigns which puts him down for a two count. Orton isn’t happy that Kane made a pin, shoving him and getting in his face. Kane hits Orton with a big right hand, backing him up in the corner before seating him on the top turnbuckle. Cena and Reigns break things up, then help turn it into a tower of doom sort of spot, with Reigns and Cena scoring with a double powerbomb and Orton eating a huge superplex. Cena and Reigns stomps away at Kane, but Orton hits Reigns with a backbreaker, then hits Cena and Reigns with dual suspension DDT’s, planting both men. Orton goes for the pin, but Kane breaks it up.
Kane connects with a big boot on Orton that’s good for two. Reigns connects with a Samoan drop on Kane, but a pin attempt is broken up by Orton. Reigns hits Orton with some big right hands. Orton traps Reigns in a half crab. Reigns powers out of the hold, then flips Orton over into a half crab. Cena clamps on the STF. Kane breaks things up. Cena shoulders Kane and hits the AA, but Kane rolls to the floor. Cena takes Orton to the mat and locks in the STF. Orton drags himself to the bottom rope, but Cena pulls him back to the middle of the ring. Orton crawls, but Reigns ends up pulling Orton from the ring, tossing him over the Spanish announcer’s table.
Reigns gets into the ring and it’s just he and Cena. They trade right hands. The crowd is completely behind Reigns. Cena takes Reigns down to the mat, but Reigns fights up and connects with a Samoan drop. Reigns drops to a knee and teases a superman punch, but Cena connects with the belly to back suplex. Cena tries for the five knuckle shuffle, but Reigns pops up and hits the superman punch. Reigns spears Cena, and Kane comes in to break up the pin.
Kane whips Reigns into the ropes, and Reigns takes Kane down with a flying clothesline. Reigns knocks Kane down to the mat in the corner. He heads to the outside, and dropkicks everyone in the side of the head before spearing Orton through the barricade surrounding the timekeeper’s area.
Kane catches Reigns by the throat, but Reigns fights it off and spears Kane. Cena breaks up a pin attempt. Cena tosses Reigns to the floor, then hits the AA on Kane, but a pin is broken up by Reigns. Cena and Reigns trade rights, and Cena hits Reigns with the AA, but Kane breaks up the pin.
Kane catches Cena by the throat and hits a chokeslam. Kane chokeslams Reigns, but he only gets a two count. Kane looks upset as he stands and paces. Kane signals that it’s over. He waits for Reigns to stand. Reigns avoids Kane and hits a spear, getting another two count. Orton hits an RKO on Reigns. Cena hits an AA on Orton, laying him out on Kane, and Cena gets the pin on Kane, scoring the three count

Cena celebrates with his titles, and the show ends with Cena walking to the back and Reigns looking on sadly.
