WWE Bragging Rights Returning In 2012; Kharma Updates Fans With A Video

- WWE plans to bring back their Bragging Rights pay-per-view next year. The show, which took place in October 2009 and 2010, was scrapped in 2011. It is scheduled to take the place of WWE Capitol Punishment next year on Sunday, June 17, 2012.

- Kharma had her publicist put out the following video on YouTube:

  • H.M.

Capitol Punishment had a cool PPV name but a TERRIBLE marketing ploy and theme. Perception is reality in this case. WWE MADE that PPV look like a joke. I don't even remember the card which is rare for me since I usually remember most matches of almost every PPV from this past year.

    Cryptic video=Brock lesnar

i doubt it but it seems to be very coincidencial, he just so happens to start being in wwe spotlight for the game, and then retires a few days before the videos are to be revealed….unlikely but i wont rule it out

    • Dustyn

Could be a possibility, if it's not him, and he does return to WWE, the Royal Rumble would be a good place for a return.

Its Shane and Steph making a return to the spotlight, “returning to take what is their’s”. I also feel a “Corporation-esk” faction with Cena too in lieu of his heel turn. Your thoughts?

      • XKonn247

Want my thoughts? That will happen when the Pope denounces religion. You are aware Shane doesn’t work for WWE anymore? Nor does he get on to well with Vince after it.

Way to think outside the box! In light of Brock's announcement of retirement from MMA this past weekend, it very well could be.

Glad to see Bragging Rights return. I liked the concept, even if they didn't really follow through on the outcomes anywhere past a week or two. Plus, IC Champ Ziggler vs US Champ Bryan from Bragging Rights 2010 was one of the best matches of last year.

lesner was fighting last nioght in the UFC so if he does return then he will be all bashed up from his bout, so don't get your hopes up as we all know its either taker or y2j

After 2 and a half minutes? Doubt he’ll be that bad.

I don't see the point in Bragging Rights as the Brand expansion is almost over. Everyone shows up on every show. Plus it'll end the same way it always ends with a Brand war. Since Raw has all the bigger stars the Raw brand will be seen as the heels and the Smackdown brand will win so it won't look like a complete joke of a show.
