WWE Extends Invitation To Michael Sam For Any Future Episode Of Raw

The Dallas Cowboys have signed defensive lineman Michael Sam to their practice squad, ESPN.com has confirmed. As for why this is being published here - it officially nullifies WWE's invitation for him to appear on next week's episode of Monday Night Raw in Baltimore, MD.

We explained earlier that dot com removed Stephanie McMahon's "open letter" to the NFL hopeful, as the company likely realized there was no chance of him appearing after finding a potential new NFL home.

Dot com announced on Wednesday that WWE will extend its invitation for Sam to appear on any future episode of Raw he wishes. You can read their piece at this link.

As I explained in Ask WNW, if WWE is serious about promoting a message of tolerance and respect from an open homosexual, they should use Darren Young. However, this is all for shameless publicity.

    Please make it stop.

It has now moved past the point of being sad and shameless. It’s getting absolutely disgusting on their behalf. You have enough cheap, trashy publicity by bringing in Springer. Enough WWE.

Completely unrelated, but thought Richard may be interested – I just read that Jim Ross will commentating an MMA show with Chael Sonnen. Battleground MMA. Let’s hope it is better than the WWE PPV of the same name
