WWE Raw House Show Results (3/11/11) - Springfield, Missouri

Written by Mike on Mar 12, 2011 - 9:44:10 AM

Wrestling News World reader Mike sent in the following house show report from last night's WWE Raw house show from the JQH Arena in Springfield, Missouri:

The Anonymous Raw General Manager kick started RAW texting Justin Roberts (or whoever the ring announcer was tonight) announcing that there would be a 14 man battle royal with the winner going up against Daniel Bryan with the US title on the line later in the evening.

1. The 14 man battle royal consisted of Ted DiBiase, Yoshi Tatsu, William Regal, The Usos, Evan Bourne, Vladimir Kozlov, Alex Riley, Sheamus, R-Truth, Tyson Kidd, Santino Marella, Mark Henry and Mason Ryan. Sheamus hid outside of the ring, and after Mark Henry thought he won, Sheamus came from behind and eliminated him. Winner: Sheamus

2. Eve defending her divas title against Nikki Bella, the GM chimed in with an announcement that there would be a dance off before the match. The Bellas did horrible (on purpose) and then attacked Eve mid dance. Eve won after she countered a roll up into a roll up of her own. The Bellas jumped Eve, with Gail Kim and Tamina making the save. Winner: Eve

3. R-Truth and Mark Henry went up against Tyson Kidd and William Regal. Regal was absolutely terrific getting the crowd riled up, he definitely plays his character very well.Winner: R-Truth and Mark Henry

4. Ted DiBiase (with Maryse) took on Evan Bourne. The match was pretty good with Bourne taking a lot of punishment while Maryse pretended not to care. She took a camera from someone in the front row and snapped pictures, then gave the camera back to the fan. She's really hot in person. Bourne hit the shooting star press for the win. Maryse stormed off as soon as the ref counted to 3. Winner: Evan Bourne

5. A generic rock theme plays and out comes Alex Riley. He received possibly the best heel reaction of the night. He took the mic and said just like all of the people of Springfield, he was now unemployed. Then he cut down the city some more, and ended up getting the biggest heel reaction of the night. Yoshi Tatsu came out and they had a great 10 minute match. Riley is very athletic for a man his size. It was my first time ever seeing Riley and I came away very impressed with his mic work and ring work. Riley won with what looked like Tests old finisher. Winner: Alex Riley

6. Santino and Vladimir Kozlov defeated The Usos, didn't care for this match much because I don't care for the comedy stuff. Vladimir is REALLY big in person.Winner: Santino and Kozlov

7. Sheamus comes out to pretty good heat, followed by WWE United States Champion Daniel Bryan. Bryan was really stiff with his offense and the crowd really got into it. The contrasting styles made for a very entertaining match. Several near falls, Daniel countered the Celtic Cross and got the pin. Sheamus hit his kick and laid Daniel Bryan out after the match was over. Winner: Daniel Bryan

8. The Miz comes out and cuts the same house show promo that he's been cutting for the past 5-6 months (I love The Miz but it gets old) out next is Randy Orton and then John Cena for a triple threat match for the WWE championship. Cena spent half of the match outside of the ring after Miz kept throwing him out. Then the other half, Orton spent most of the time outside of the ring. It was an entertaining match that made THE MIZ look strong at times, the end saw Mason Ryan run down to the ring to distract Randy Orton. Miz came up from behind and hit the Skull Crushing Finale and got the pin. Mason and Miz started to beat down the two, before they both got up and hit their finishers on Miz and Mason to send the crowd home happy. Winner: The Miz

Biggest Pops:

1. Randy Orton
2. John Cena
3. R-Truth
4. Daniel Bryan
5. Evan Bourne

Most Heat:

1. Alex Riley (entrance and ESPECIALLY after his promo)
2. The Miz
3. William Regal
4. Sheamus
5. Ted DiBiase
