WWE SmackDown House Show Report
Alajuela, Costa Rica
Large house show, 17,000 attended. I was at ringside at the side of ramp, very cool location to be in.
* John Morrison and Matt Hardy b Hart Dynasty after Matt Hardy hit the twist the of fate to Tyson Kidd.Both teams got great reactions. JoMo was selling the ankle injury
* Beth Phoenix b Michelle McCool(she was looking hot) via Glam Slam in a decent enough match.
* CM Punk w/ Luke Gallows b R-Truth with the GTS. Punk cut a promo beforehand (in Spanish!) about how terrible Costa Rica is for their dependence on alcohol.
* Goldust & Christian (Giant reaction, biggest so far) b Ezekiel Jackson & Zack Ryder w/ Rosa Mendez (who got ZERO reaction.) with Killswitch. Decent match.
* Drew McIntyre drew Kane in a Double Countout to retain the IC Championship (crowd was into it but in my opinion the match sucked)
* Rey Mysterio b Chris Jericho (he cut a promo in spanish by calling us mexicans, he got major heat for it) w/ West Coast Pop in an absolutely awesome 20 minute match. Crowd was absolutely on fire for both men.
* The Undertaker b Batista with the Tombstone to retain the World Heavyweight Championship in an absolutely wild match(this was better than the crap they put on PPV lately).
Biggest Pops:
Undertaker, Rey Mysterio, Matt Hardy & John Morrison and Christian.
Most heat:
Jericho, Punk (not by me that's for sure lol), Batista. All in all, a really fun house show with a really wild crowd in an excellent outdoors venue.
