WWE Issues Statement On Controversial Jinder Mahal Segment

While the controversy does not exist in some people's minds, WWE still felt the need to issue a statement to the Washington Post regarding a segment on Smackdown Live in which Jinder Mahal made fun of Shinsuke Nakamura in a vaguely racist manner. Here is the statement:

“Just like many other TV shows or movies, WWE creates programming with fictional personalities that cover real world issues and sensitive subjects.

As a producer of such TV shows, WWE Corporate is committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide.”

The segment is still yet to be revived or even mentioned since it was deleted off the official Twitter page.

Oh throw two fingers in the air to the soft-skinned cry babies. Quit the political correctness.

If there’s one thing that’s killing wrestling is political correctness. Vinces grapefruit have not only turned to raisins but have dropped completely.

Nobody can take a ribbing anymore. Mahal later issued an apology he said ” So Solly!!”
