WWE Main Event Results (5/13/14) – Sheamus and Cesaro Brawl, Alicia Fox Throws Another Fit

Tom Phillips and Byron Saxton welcome us to this week’s Main Event. Renee Young and Paul Heyman are standing in the ring. Heyman interrupts her and changes the subject to say Brock Lesnar conquered Undertaker’s streak. Sheamus interrupts Heyman. Sheamus is giving Heyman five seconds to leave the ring. Heyman says in front of a lady? Renee walks out of the ring. Heyman tries pleading with him. Sheamus gets to four before Heyman runs. Cesaro attacks Sheamus and hits the neutralizer. Cesaro gets ready to swing Sheamus, but Heyman pulls him off and they walk away.

Damien Sandow makes his way to the ring for the first match. Sandow starts to cut a promo when Dolph Ziggler interrupts and enters.

Damien Sandow vs. Dolph Ziggler

Waist lock on Sandow. Ziggler hops over Sandow and connects with a dropkick. Ziggler is thrown into the corner and rolls out. On the apron, Sandow sends an elbow to the face. Sandow pins in the ring. Sandow sends a couple knees into Dolph’s back, headlock put in place. They trade blows, Sandow trips Ziggler into the turnbuckle. Sandow flies into an empty corner, Ziggler hits a clothesline. Several punches in the corner, neckbreaker. Sandow dodges the dropkick, locks in a leg submission. Ziggler crawls to the ropes. Ziggler hits the Zig-Zag for the win.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler – by pinfall (4:10)

Footage is shown from last night’s Raw. The Shield took out Evolution and several other heels. The Shield faces Evolution in a rematch at WWE Payback.

Emma makes her way to the ring for the next match. Alicia Fox makes her way to the ring. Fox grabs a mic and says I’m kinda surprised you showed up. Fox goes on to hit her and beat on her while the ref tries to keep her off.

Emma vs. Alicia Fox

Fox hits a big tilt-a-whirl-backbreaker. Fox throws Emma out of the ring. Fox tosses Emma across the ring when they get back in. Fox goes into the turnbuckle after Emma tripped her. Fox counters the crossbody in the corner. Emma rolls Fox up for the quick win.

Winner: Emma – by pinfall (2:08)

Fox starts to chase Emma but stops. Fox yells and then apologizes a ringside crew member and Tony Chimel. Fox grabs the commentators and yells we are family. She gets on the commentary table and shouts to the crowd. Underrated. Fox puts money in the commentator’s mouths and shoves them out of their chairs.

Sheamus tells Renee Young this is going to be a fight.

Raw video package shows Stephanie McMahon’s in-ring segment from last night. The state of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship will be addressed on Raw.

Sheamus makes his way to the ring for the main event. Cesaro and Paul Heyman enter after the commercial break.

Sheamus vs. Cesaro

Cesaro throws punches and an uppercut. Sheamus hits a clothesline, followed by punches in the corner. Cesaro connects with an uppercut. They begin to trade uppercuts until Sheamus drives Cesaro into the corner. Cesaro rolls out of the ring and talks with Heyman. Sheamus chases Cesaro back into the ring. Cesaro is pulled out of the ring, but escapes and heads out to the other side. Cesaro delivers three big uppercuts on the apron as Sheamus hangs from the ropes.

Both are back in the ring as Cesaro punches Sheamus in the stomach. Sheamus with a high knee in the corner, battering ram connects for a two. Sheamus delivers the ten clubs to the chest. Big suplex from the apron, two. Cesaro with an uppercut and boot in the corner. Cesaro connects with another big boot. Cesaro hits an uppercut to the back of the head, cover. Sheamus with the rolling senton, he goes up top. Cesaro trips him. Another uppercut. Cesaro nails the suplex, two.

-Commercials

Cesaro sends an elbow to the face of Sheamus. Punches and uppercuts are traded. Cesaro kicks Sheamus down. Sheamus with a couple clotheslines, running knee connects. Cesaro counters with a big clothesline, nearfall. Irish Curse Backbreaker connects. Cesaro rolls Sheamus up, kickout. Sheamus slams Cesaro, two. Cesaro dodges the big kick and hits a German Suplex. White Noise from Sheamus, both men down. Sheamus is the first to his feet. Cesaro rolls out to the apron. Cesaro is punched off of the turnbuckle and falls to the outside. Sheamus jumps out onto Cesaro.

Cesaro dumps Sheamus into the timekeeper’s area. Sheamus is thrown into the barricade. Sheamus and Cesaro both fall onto the other side into the crowd. The ref reaches the count of ten.

Double count-out (13:21)

Sheamus throws Cesaro into the steps, the refs separate the two. Heyman hands Cesaro a chair to hit Sheamus with. Sheamus hits a Brogue Kick in the ring. Sheamus celebrates with his title as a ref checks on Cesaro.
