WWE taped this week’s WWE Main Event last week from the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, New York. Below are full results:

WWE Main Event (Airing December 26 on Ion Television):

* The Great Khali won a 20-man battle royal to become the #1 Contender to the United States Championship. Antonio Cesaro was on commentary for the match.

* Backstage, Matt Striker interviews The Great Khali about his win. He is attacked by Antonio Cesaro, but Khali gets the upper hand and tells Cesaro that he’ll face him for the title next week (on the episode airing on January 2).

* Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel b. Jinder Mahal & Drew McIntyre

Richard, do you think Khali is actually over a little now? I noticed a lot of people at the arenas doing the same bad dance as him and he even gets a little pop. Not so many you can't wrestle chants. I think he can do well, he's got size and seems like a good person. Just no skills

I love Khali's dance. I am so glad to see him over. To be completely honest with you…I really dont mind that Khali isn't a great wrestler, but he seems like he is having a whole helluva lot of fun out there. He really is one of my favorite wrestlers.
