uh oh, summerslam buys down with cena main eventing. cant wait to hear what cena fans have to say about that. uh oh, noc buys down, cant wait to see what bryan followers have to say about that. could be cause there were only really only two matches built for SS in punk/lesnar and bryan/cena. noc possibly cause of orton, possibly cause bryan, possibly a combination of both, or a lack of build for anything else on the card, or the fact fans figured bryan would get screwed again and didn’t want to pay too see it, either way im not sure, but they need to do something to get buys up for there ppv’s.

    • The show WWE wasn’t happy with was SummerSlam. Vince said people didn’t buy the attraction and they can’t hit them all out of the park. He said they “swung and missed” with SummerSlam. Take from that what you will.

I thought this year’s Summerslam was one of the best Summerslam”s ever and one of the best PPVs of the last 7 or 8 years. Both main events lived up to the hype. If anything the people who didn’t order swung and missed but as far as the show it’s self I thought WWE knocked it out of the park.

I agree with you about the main events, but overall I thought the PPV was ok. I just wish there was more then “the attraction” statement. Honestly I’m not a huge DB fan, but the guy is over in every single arena more then anyone else, so we know that he’s only crazy over with the Iwc argument is a joke. I want Vince to say exactly what the attraction is, but we know that won’t happen.

Well then I guess the question is, what does he mean by attraction? Is he talking about the summerslam event as a whole? Is he talking about lesnar, cause since he wrestles so little, he’d be classified as more of an attraction then wrestler. Is he talking about Cena and Bryan? I guess a more in depth explanation would be desirable. Also, I’m interested if you could Richard, tell us what do you take from that statement? To be honest the reason for my comment was because of a debate on a different thread revolving who draws and who doesn’t. It’s obvious by this though that neither cena nor Bryan draws as much as either side thinks.
