1st hour = How I Met Your Mother. That was my priority.

That is honestly what I think killed Raw’s early viewership. I DVRed HIMYM and watched it shortly after Raw and it has one of the biggest followings in TV right now.

Last night was also a big night for TV premieres, the deck was stacked against Raw, and let’s face it their ratings always suffer this time of year. Of course, we could always just say this is proof that clearly the people in charge don’t know what’s “Best for business.” :P

It doesnt matter whos on raw or what storyline is going on. Monday Night Football, and football in general is just too damn big

Before anyone chimes in and blames any of the talent….the ratings have very little to do with individual wrestlers. The kids they are trying to reach are back in school and many are likely missing the shows due to studying and bedtimes and such. Not to mention with every second kid having a smart phone they have other things to do than watch wrestling. It is still interesting to some of them… but not as many as it was. Another reason is that the product is pretty much rubbish, You can’t have one good program that lasts for a couple of months once a year and expect to grab and hold on to an audience. And this program with HHH and his ilk against DB and his friends is not being done well. It’s still better than anything from the previous 8 or 9 months but only marginally. They ran into a problem very early on with this program and that was having basically the exact same show 3 weeks in a row… that alone caused some people to give up on it. It hasn’t gotten much better since and is likely too late to fix it now. Another reason? Sports!!! Monday Night Football is back and that always hurts WWE’s ratings. Baseball is down to crunch time for teams trying to make the playoffs. Hockey is getting started. These things all take away from an audience.

reason? simple besides Monday Night Footbal and season premieres of shows, people are majorly turned off by the bullying angles and the storylines which are bullshit

Least they fixed the provoke they been complaint about the 3rd hour is the most watched these days :)
But yeah I think it’s time smack down becomes the kid friendly
And raw goes back to at least pg13
I mean this time of year only adults and teens in high school or college are watching aka me
So why not have raw be more towards the adults and less fr kids and have the other 3 shows for kids
I get the investors and clearance and all that stuff but I’m not talking about blood every second f bombs or nudity
But just less “you’re a purple Hipo”
    And more “suck it”
    Just edgier
    Speaking of edge(ier)
What the hek is the point of teasing a storyline with edge putting him on smack down then him disappearing with absolutely no mention he even was on raw

Even though the overall rating is down the numbers increased each hour. Interesting

Would anyone in the I.W.C. hold it against me if I confess that I listened to “The Sixx Sense with Nikki Sixx and Kerri Kasem” for a couple of hours this past Monday night? Given the ratings from “Raw” (compared to ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” broadcast), it seems I’m getting the impression that I haven’t miss much …. with the exception of the “Raw” highlights on http://www.wwe.com and on YouTube, of course!!!
