WWE Network Addresses Log-In Problems

The latest WWE Network technical support issue has to do with a log-in problem. The WWE Network Tweeted the following:

We reported here on WrestlingNewsWorld.com that problems with the service our widespread but deal mostly with issues regarding the video-on-demand portion of the service. They are not device specific and seem to be happening regardless of how the WWE Network is being accessed.

Yes, the live show stuff hasn’t been an issue really it’s all been the Demand Library. Most won’t even load on my laptop or Android, some start then stop….if I ever try to fast forward??? Frozen city!

Correct me if I’m misreading this, but isn’t that basically saying to those of us that registered in the first 48 hours, “We’ll get to you when we have time?” Not super enthused by that logic if that’s the case…

I doubt its an issue of “we’ll get to it when we have time.” I’m an IT guy for a school district here in California, and we see these sort of issues all the time when a new service or product gets launched. It’s inevitable to have some growing pains at first. Hey, at least it’s not as bad as the disaster that is HealthCare.gov, which was a coding nightmare. There’s only so much you can find out about reliability during the testing phase. A developer will never truly know how stable or reliable something is until it’s put under a legitimate load and they can get real feedback from the public. I think there’s enough time between now and ‘Mania for them to get these glitches ironed out, so let’s give WWE the benefit of the doubt and relax. I’m sure they have a team of people that are working really hard around-the-clock to get everything fixed.

Nonsense. The Xbox 360 won’t let anyone login. At all. There’s a disconnect between the WWE and the Xbox where it won’t recognise correct accounts. That people CAN’T EVEN LOG IN is a fundamental mistake that SHOULD have been dealt with in the testing. In that, someone should have tried to login and see that they can’t.

Sure, your point stands for streaming issues and lag and so on. But the simple fact accounts aren’t recognised on the xbox is inexcusable.

This is technically a glitch. There is absolutely no way the developers can simulate what will happen when you have 250,000 people trying to access the service from various platforms. I get that you’re frustrated but seriously, take a step back and think about this for just a moment: do you think streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, or HBO GO (to name a few) launched right out the gate without any glitches or technical problems? The answer is absolutely not! These things happen all the time, and while it sucks and it’s frustrating, it is what it is.

I only had an issue logging in on the PS4. My PS3 was cool but on PS4, when you press X to enter characters on the keyboard, for this WWE Network app, O is the button you need to enter characters. I don’t know why that is but it works.

I have a Roku. I have been able to get too all the menus, but have not been able to view content. I’ve called customer service and get put on hold for an hour and half (multiple times and getting hung up on each time) I finally get through and am told to get a f****** life its not my problem. That’s customer service for you. So now it’s Thursday and I still cannot watch any content whatsoever.
