- Batista is at home in Tampa, Florida and will spend this week resting. Representatives for Batista tell Wrestling News World that he will start training his legs in about six weeks. As we have noted several times, he is expected to miss several months as he rehabs his torn hamstring. - Val Venis is still out rehabbing his elbow and has not started back on the road with WWE. There was talk a couple of weeks ago that he could be in jeopardy of getting released if WWE does not decide to give him a role as a road agent. Val is well-liked backstage and is known for being very smart on the business.
Richard Reacts: Batista is a big loss for Raw and for WrestleMania. It will be interesting to see the direction that WWE takes with him out. As for Val Venis, there were reports that he was with Christian at Raw last night. That was bogus as we have learned Christian was not there and Val is still out with an injury.
