Candice And Batista On FOX News, WWE At The Democratic National Convention, More

- Candice Michelle and Batista were on Greta Van Susteren's "Off the Record" show last night on FOX News talking about WWE's SmackDown Your Vote Campaign. Both workers explained to Greta how important it is to reach a young audience and to have them come out to vote. Batista said that it is time for the youth to come out and be heard and to not let other people speak for them. You can read a transcript of the segment at this link.
- Speaking of voting, the official WWE website has added photos of several Superstars at the Democratic National Convention yesterday. You can view those at this link.
- Beth Phoenix and Vladimir Koslov will be at the Florida Championship Wrestling show tomorrow in Tampa at 7:30 p.m. Fans will have the opportunity to meet with them as well as get an autograph. The show will be held at the new FCW Arena located at 4535 South Dale Mabry.
Ryan's Take: I think the SmackDown Your Vote campaign is a very creative way to get younger people to come out and vote. Nothing gets on my nerves more than someone complaining about the elected officials only to find out they didn't vote. Hopefully the campaign will have a big impact on younger people.
