Latest Update On Edge, WWE To Tape Next Week's TVs On Sunday, Jamie Noble Injured?

Written by Richard Gray on Aug 27, 2008 - 2:22:23 PM

- Edge was held off of television again this week to sell getting "chokeslammed to hell" by the Undertaker at SummerSlam. Edge has been telling those close to him for months now that he has needed some time off so apparently this is the break that he is getting. I would be surprised if he returns before Unforgiven as I had heard that original plans had him out until after the September pay-per-view which is on September 7th from Cleveland, Ohio.

- WWE will tape the final television before Unforgiven this Sunday night at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri with a special Raw and SmackDown supershow where they will tape both episodes of next week's TV. Next week's edition of ECW was taped last night from Pittsburgh. We should have live coverage from the tapings here on WNW on Sunday night beginning at approximately 7 PM Eastern.

- Several of our live correspondents last night sent word that Jamie Noble took a bad bump off a botched suplex during a dark match prior to last night's SmackDown taping in Pittsburgh, PA. I still have not heard as to why Noble is working dark matches with the SmackDown/ECW crews despite being a Raw brand worker. During last night's match, Noble did a job to developmental worker Jake Hager.
