Local North Carolina radio station WTSB Radio: 1090 AM is reporting on their website that Gregory Helms was assaulted early this morning at a sports bar in Smithfield, North Carolina. According to the station, the assault occurred at approximately 1:10 AM at the N&N Sports Bar where there was an altercation between Helms and a 29 year old man named Dustin Curtis Narron.
According to the report, Narron is accused of slapping Helms after an altercation. Helms later obtained a warrant for assault which was served an hour after the incident. Narron was released on $500 bail.
Gregory Helms is currently out of action in WWE rehabbing a serious neck injury.
