As we first reported here on WrestlingNewsWorld.com last night, John Cena suffered a legitimate right knee injury at last night's Raw house show from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
The injury occurred at the end of a lengthy main event steel cage match against Wade Barrett after taking Barrett's Wasteland finisher. Cena addressed the crowd after the bout saying, "I think I hurt myself pretty bad and might be out for awhile, hope not but that happens I guess."
Cena was helped to the back and was in a considerable amount of pain.
We're unable to confirm the severity of the injury other than he's set to undergo further evaluation later this week.
