John Cena's Prognosis Deemed "Excellent" After Undergoing Surgery Earlier Today

The official website has posted an update on the condition of John Cena after undergoing emergency surgery today under Dr. Joseph Maroon at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for a herniating disk in his neck. Dr. Maroon was very positive regarding Cena's condition and said that his "prognosis is excellent."

"We performed a microsurgical removal of a large disk fragment compression on the spinal cord which was weakening the nerve leading to the right arm... We created a small incision in the front of the neck using an operating microscope to remove the fragment from the spinal cord and nerve. The operation took approximately an hour and a half." Dr. Maroon told the official WWE website.
