- Kane will make his return to WWE television on this week's edition of SmackDown as he worked a match at last night's taping against Rey Mysterio. It appears they are teasing a Kane vs. Great Khali program. Kane has been out for the past several weeks as he was given time off for storylines to play out. He recently spent three days in India doing promotional work for WWE.
- CM Punk will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Jeff Hardy at Night of Champions later this month. The match was annoucned at last night's SmackDown taping in Fresno, California.
