TNA Advertising at WWE Shows
Written by Ryan Gray on Nov 16, 2008 - 4:26:15 PM
Wrestling News World reader Chris sent the following:
Leaving the arena after a WWE house show in Aberdeen last night, 3 or 4 guys were hanging around outside giving out leaflets for the TNA Maximum Impact tour coming up. It had details of where the events will be held and told you to log on to a website on 17th November as the matches will be announced then. They really are committed to this as the tour isn't even coming to Aberdeen but they were handing out flyers to everyone. Also thought it was interesting that, according to the flyer, they are announcing the matches of their house shows in advance - something WWE doesn't do, as they seem to tweak things from show to show.
Ryan's Take: This isn't an uncommon practice. I've been to many WWE events here in the United States where guys on the street were promoting upcoming TNA events. Also WWE does announce matches in advance for house shows, but most of the time they change.
