Following tonight's edition of WWE Raw from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, Sheamus beat The Undertaker and John Cena to retain the WWE Championship in a steel cage match in the dark match main event. Undertaker used the Hell's Gate submission hold on Cena.
After the match, Kane ran out followed by The Nexus. Kane and The Undertaker fought while The Nexus attacked Cena. MVP, Mark Henry, John Morrison, Evan Bourne and Matt Hardy (who was selling a limp) made the save. After the other four members of The Nexus were taken out, everyone hit their finishers on Wade Barrett to end the taping and send the crowd home happy.
