WWE developmental worker and one half of the Florida Championship Wrestling Tag Team Champions, Stu Sanders (real name Stu Bennett), was arrested Sunday night at 2:01 AM and charged with battery on a law enforcement officer and obstructing or opposing an officer. The battery charge is a felony while the obstructing charge is a misdemeanor.
According to the arrest report, Sanders was arrested outside the Champps Restaurant & Bar on 2223 North West Shore Blvd in Tampa, Florida. He was released from jail at 1:06 PM after posting $2,500.00 bond.
Wrestling News World has obtained Sanders' mugshot and a copy of the arrest report in which you can view at this link.
Richard Reacts: WWE wrestlers sure keep the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office busy as they have made all of the recent arrests. Of course it's a secret to no one that a large portion of WWE wrestlers (developmental and regular talents) live in the Tampa area which is the jurisdiction for the department. I wouldn't be surprised if Sanders was released but we'll see.
