Hello and welcome to this week's edition of WWE NXT! Conor O'Brian was eliminated last week, so with only four rookies left, who will earn precious immunity points and try to stave off elimination?
-Todd Grisham and Josh Mathews welcome us to WWE NXT, coming to us from Cincinnati, Ohio! Matt Striker has the 4 remaining rookies in the ring. There will be two rookie challenges tonight, both worth immunity points. The second will be a four-rookie battle royal, which will allow the winning rookie to switch pros if he chooses. Striker accuses Derrick Bateman of cheating in last week's challenge that he swept, and we get a backstage vignette.
-Daniel Bryan is shown sitting backstage. Bateman sidles up in all black, and tells Bryan that he is going to pull off the "biggest caper in NXT history" and hands Bryan a note with all of the predetermined answers of last-week's challenge.
-Back to the ring, we find that Derrick will be penalized in the upcoming challenge because of his mischief.
Challenge #1: Outthink the Fink
-Each rookie has 30 seconds to answer the questions. Bateman only has 20. Howard Finkel is welcomed to the ring to do the honors. We find that if any rookie scores better than The Fink, he will get two additional immunity points.
-The Fink gets 2 correct answers, and we go to our rookies.
-Johnny Curtis is up first. Curtis only gets 1 correct, and gets booed slightly.
-Derrick Bateman is up next, with only 20 seconds. He gets 1 correct.
-Byron Saxton up next. Saxton gets 1 correct as well.
-Brodus Clay is last. Brodus gets 1 correct.
Winner: Howard Finkel, therefore no one gets any immunity points.
-Our main event is hyped, the elimination Fatal Four-Way match between the four rookies.
-Ted DiBiase, Brodus Clay, and Maryse are in the ring. Daniel Bryan's music hits, and he comes out with Derrick Bateman.
-We get a recap of Raw, when the Bellas walked in on Daniel Bryan kissing Gail Kim and the diva brawl that ensued.
Match #1: Daniel Bryan vs. Ted DiBiase
-They lock up, and Bryan grounds Ted with a wristlock. He utilizes a hammerlock, but Ted fights out. Ted runs the ropes, but Bryan gets a hip toss, and continues working the arm with a modified wrist lock. The camera cuts away to see Maryse giving Josh Mathews an autograph. Back in the ring, Bryan takes Ted down, and applies a Fujiwara armbar. He attempts to modify it into a surfboard hold, but stops, and they both get to their feat. A test of strength between the two, but Ted kicks Bryan in the gut. The test of strength continues, and Ted gets him down for a two-count, but Bryan bridges out. Bryan gets up, jumps, and executes a monkey flip. Bryan tries to apply the LeBell Lock, but Ted wriggles out and escapes to ringside.
-We return to see Ted striking Bryan in the turnbuckle. Bryan counters and gets Ted into the corner. Bryan hits some signature kicks to the solar plexus and tosses him to the other turnbuckle. He runs for a splash, but Ted moves, and Bryan crashes and burns. Ted in control now, with some knees to the face. Ted applies a rear headlock as the crowd gets behind Bryan. Ziggler comes in with some snide remarks from the stage. "You know he's a vegan, right?" Ted gets a two count with a neckbreaker. Ted is getting frustrated, as Ziggler continues to heckle Bryan. R-Truth tries to start a "Dan-iel Bry-an!" chant. Bryan gets tossed to the outside and DiBiase rams Bryan's back onto the barricade. Ted slams Bryan's head into the announce table, and Bryan makes it back into the ring at the ref's count of 3. Bryan fights up with some European uppercuts and tries to whip Ted into the corner, but Ted counters hard and Bryan slams against the turnbuckle and collapses. A two-count, and Bryan sits up. Ted hits the ropes and hits a big boot for another two count. R-Truth says "When I say Daniel, you say Bryan!" to the crowd, and the crowd responds loudly. Meanwhile, Bryan gets whipped into the turnbuckle, but hits his signature backflip counter, and hits a huge kick to DiBiase's chest. Bryan gets up on the top rope and hits a missile dropkick to Ted's face. The crowd counts 1-2-3, but Ted kicks out at the last minute. Ted is on his knees, getting some brutal kicks to the chest from Bryan. Ted tries a quick roll-up, but Bryan kicks out. Out of nowhere, Ted tries to him Dream Street, but Bryan counters with an arm drag. Bryan runs right into a spinebuster for a very close 2 count. Bryan is reeling in the corner, but hits a big boot to Ted. Ted tries for another spinebuster, but Bryan counters with Jamie Noble's old finishing choke. He almost gets the LeBell Lock, but Ted gets the ropes. Ted goes out of the ring, so Bryan goes for a suicide dive. Brodus Clay gets involved and hits Bryan before he can jump out, which gives Ted time to get back in and hit Dream Street for the 3. Very good match from the two.
Winner: Ted DiBiase
-We get the Royal Rumble Numbers promo from Raw. Very well-done and interesting video. Definitely worth checking out.
-We see DiBiase backstage. Maryse is congratulating Ted, but he turns his attention to Brodus. He says that if any of the other rookies win the Fatal Four-Way, they'll pick Ted to be his new pro. Ted wants to keep Brodus, since Brodus is his best chance of winning the Tag Titles. Brodus is listening and being completely respectful, saying "Yes, boss" to everything Ted says. Brodus walks away determined, and Maryse starts talking to Ted in French.
-It's time for the rookie Fatal Four-Way match. As they make their way to the ring, no rookie gets too much of a reaction from the crowd.
Match #2: Fatal Four-Way Elimination Match: Johnny Curtis vs. Byron Saxton vs. Brodus Clay vs. Derrick Bateman
-A small "Bateman" chant breaks out. Bateman shrugs and goes straight for Brodus. The other rookies go right for Bateman, and start beating him in the corner. Curtis and Byron whip Bateman to Brodus, who hits a belly-to-belly suplex for the quick 3-count.
Eliminated: Derrick Bateman
-Byron and Curtis go for Brodus, and they both hit an impressive double suplex on him. Brodus rolls out of the ring to take a break, and Curtis tries for a quick roll-up on on Saxton. He kicks out and throws Curtis out of the ring. Saxton poses for the camera as we go to commercial.
-Brodus is in control, and hits a suplex on Saxton. Saxton hits a jawbreaker on Brodus while he's distracted. Curtis is down on the top rope, so Byron goes after him. Curtis throws Byron off, and hits a huge double leg drop on the downed Byron and Brodus. He pins Saxton for the 3-count.

Brodus whips Curtis into the corner. Curtis walks out and Brodus grabs Curtis by the neck, steps forward, and slams him down, continuing the choke during the pin. This keeps Curtis down for the 3-count.
Eliminated: Johnny Curtis Winner: Brodus Clay
-Striker, DiBiase, and Maryse get into the ring and Striker asks Brodus if he's going to switch pros. Brodus says that his pro has money and class, but one thing his pro isn't, is Ted DiBiase. He says that DiBiase has can't even keep control over Maryse, so his new pro is Alberto Del Rio! Brodus tells DiBiase to pay attention to what he has to say, grabs DiBiase by the neck, and hits his choke STO on him as Maryse watches. Del Rio walks down the ramp to greet Brodus as they shake hands and celebrate together.
