WWE NXT worker Buddy Murphy suffered a broken jaw in a bout at Thursday night's NXT live event in Tampa, Florida. The injury occurred in a tag team match where Murphy teamed with Danny Burch to oppose Mason Ryan & Jason Jordan.

Murphy noted on Twitter he's seeing a surgeon on Friday regarding the injury. The following is from Twitter:

That sucks to hear, Buddy is one of those guys who I see to have an exceptionally bright future ahead if he continues to work hard. I’d expect to see him bandaged up and right back in the ring before you know it.

Buddy Murphy AKA Matt Silva is not the first Australian Pro wrestler to work for WWE.
But he is the first to have a real shot at making it big in WWE.
All the people who were upset at his leaked promo probably don’t realise how major that is an Aussie wrestler with a non crocodile dundie gimmick FINALLY.
As an Australian it was bloody refreshing to see an Aussie in any American entertainment forum not being forced to enforce stupid cultural stereotypes.
