WWE Predicts – WrestleMania XXX

Sunday, April 6, the WWE presents WrestleMania XXX from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. Rather than bog you down with ten identical predictions for each match this year, we drew straws and each writer wrote predictions for a couple of matches, and then short picks for the rest. That way we have some different ideas for each match, and more writers get to predict the biggest PPV of the year. That being said, we have a variety of writers, some new, some who have been with us for years. Jesse Sherwood, CJ Blaze, Adam Wacker, Jamie Welton, Matt Kunka, David Jr., Joshua Tucker, Zeppelin Mayers, and myself will all be predicting WrestleMania XXX, and my famous action figure photos are back for yet another WrestleMania! We all hope you enjoy our predictions, and leave your own in the comments section.

Fatal Four Way Tag Team Championship Match – The Usos (c) vs The Real Americans vs Los Matadores vs RybAxel

Zeppelin
First off, this match should totally be on the card, because Cesaro and The Usos both deserve to have a true WrestleMania moment. I hate how badly WWE treats their tag teams sometimes, and this is a clear sign of it. Anyway, to me there is only one choice for winners in this match, and they are the tag champs themselves. The Usos dropping the titles now would be a slap in the face to the fans. Cesaro will probably swing everyone in the match, but I expect The Usos to get the win over The Real Americans; thus, leading to their dissension as a team.
Winners – The Usos (Retain Tag Team Championship)

CJ
This isn’t exactly the match I would’ve put together, but all I can say is at least the titles are being defended. I know a lot of people think that all the championships should be defended on the grandest stage of them all. It’s sad to see guys like The Uso’s and Cesaro work their tail off only to be put on the pre-show. As far as the match goes, I think it will be fast-paced and just what the crowd needs to keep the energy. The Uso’s are fresh off of the title win, and I fully expect them to get that big WrestleMania moment this year.
Winners – The Usos

Joshua
This is the perfect match of the announced matches for the pre-show. It will get the crowd into the show. I have no problems with Rybaxel and Los Matadores in the match. It’s not like either team is actually going to win the match so why should it matter if they are in this match or the Battle Royal. This match comes down to the reigning champions The Usos and The Real Americans. I’ve felt for a long time The Real Americans deserved a run with the titles. At the same time so do The Usos. I believe The Usos will overcome the odds and retain the Tag Team championships and then Cesaro will blow his stack and swing Zeb Colter signaling the end of The Real Americans tag team and a face turn for Cesaro as they begin to push him going forward.
Winner – Still WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos

David Jr.
At Wrestlemania IX, the dark match was “El Matador” Tito Santana vs. Papa Shango.  El Matador was victorious.  At Wrestlemania XXV, Los Matadores, Diego, competed as Primo in a tag team match with brother Carlito.  They fought in the dark match and became the Unified Tag Team Champions against Miz and Morrison.  Since this match is the pre-show, so Los Matadores wins.  No wait, I’m not picking them.   I have to go with, wait I have one more thing to say.  Eva Marie is on the actual Wrestlemania card and Cesaro is on the pre-show.  Since Cesaro is over, I’ll go with Real Americans.   No wait, Cesaro needs to get away from Jack Swagger, so I’m not picking them.   Hey Rybaxel is in this match, and no I’m not picking them.  So that leaves the Usos.  They are a true tag team.   They just won the Tag Team Titles in March, I’ll pick the Usos.
Winner: I see only one way this goes.
I’m going with the Usos.

6 Man Tag Match – The Shield vs Kane & New Age Outlaws

Adam
After speculation of the Shield meeting their demise at Wrestlemania, leading into a Triple Threat, a six-man tag team match as faces is an interesting change of pace. I believe inserting the Shield into a feud with Kane and the Outlaws is an interesting change of pace, considering the exodus of CM Punk, who was going to be taking on Kane. I always believed that the Shield has so much more left in their longevity as a group, and am excited to see this match with them as the good guys. Each member has aged like a fine wine, hypothetically speaking; getting better with each day they are in the company. Consider me a believer in the match and the Shield walking away as the winners.
Winners – The Shield

Joshua
This is an interesting match because either team can win this match. It’s a product of the indecision on what Triple H and Vince want to do with The Shield going forward. If HHH wins the argument then likely we see The Shield win and stay together getting stronger as a babyface faction. However if Vince wins the argument we’ll see Kane and The New Age Outlaws win the match because Reigns gets betrayed by Rollins and Ambrose and is left to be picked apart by the 3 veterans. Although I could also see Reigns winning the match on his own afterwards and being laid out by Ambrose and Rollins. I am leaning towards Kane and NAO wins this match and The Shield comes to an end and the rocket pack gets strapped to Roman Reigns’s back to taking the US Title from Ambrose.
Winner – Kane and NAO

David Jr.
This is Kane’s 5th tag team match at Wrestlemania history.  It ties him with Bradshaw (JBL), Faarooq, Jacques Rougeau (the Mountie) and Demolition Smash (Repo Man) for the 2nd most Tag Team matches.  Davey Boy Smith has the most tag team matches with 6.  In the previous 4 tag team matches, Kane is 4-0.  Can Kane go to 5-0 in tag matches?  I’ll go no.   The Shield can’t spend their entire career together.  Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose all have potential to be big in single runs.  But not yet, so I’ll go with the Shield.
Winner: Kane may have four Wrestlemania Tag Team wins.
But I’m going with the Shield of Ambrose, Reigns and Rollins.

Jamie
I was enjoying the dissension being shown between the members of the Shield and thought there was going to be some sort of build toward them splitting. However I’m glad WWE decided to change the plans on this and kept the trio together as they are producing some of the best in ring work in WWE right now. The build to this match has kind of been short and rushed but there’s something intriguing about this match. The New Age Outlaws have shown since their return that despite their advancing years they can still go in the ring. Add in to the mix the veteran elements of Kane who can go out and still put on a good match and the incredible displays by the Shield then there is something about this match that grabs my attention. I like how there has become dissension in The Authority and how the Shield seem to want to break away from that and display their dominance. In all likelihood I see the Shield going over as winners in this one. There is nothing really to be gained having Kane and the Outlaws pick up a win unless WWE have plans to break up the Shield any time soon, and given their momentum right now I don’t see that happening. Believe in the Shield!
Winners – The Shield

Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational – 14 Diva Single-Fall Match

Zeppelin
So this is a clear sign that WWE believes in none of their Divas. It is too obvious that it is time for AJ to drop the belt. Nothing against AJ, I love her and her character, but it has gotten old. Time to make her the challenger again and add some flare to this division. As well as AJ not retaining, I also have no confidence in any of the non-Total Divas winning the gold. That show is the only thing making the Divas relevant, and WWE will be all for making that show more relevant by strapping one of their stars. With that in mind, the only Diva worthy enough to carry the title is Naomi. Naomi was the original star to challenge AJ and I feel she is back on that track. I wouldn’t mind Natalya or Brie Bella to win either.
Winner – Naomi

CJ
If they wanted to get everyone on the card, they should’ve just had a Lumberjill match. I’m not sure what WWE is thinking booking all of the female talent against AJ. There are some talented women in the company and there are very green workers who need to work a bit more before being put in a match like this. I mentioned in the latest Five-Count that a Total Diva needs to win the match if AJ doesn’t. I’ve narrowed it down to Natalya and Naomi. These two divas have worked hard in the ring and are very deserving. I think Natalya needs this WrestleMania moment more, and I hope she wins and gets a decent run with it.
Winner – Natalya

Adam
As glad as I am to see the diva’s all get a fair chance at stepping up to the plate on the grandest stage, I feel with the convoluted ruling of this match, it may be another Battle Royal-esque match. With the Memorial Battle Royal, I feel as if this match will be yet another glorified piss break. Which is unfortunate, considering how much the Bellas, Funkadactlys and the rest of the divas have improved and how impressive AJ, Tamina and Emma have been thus far. I look forward to seeing the AJ and Tamina confrontation, which I feel will lead to Snuka capturing her first title.
Winner – Tamina

Joshua
This match because of the number of people in it makes it more unpredictable than normal. For months I have been picking against AJ as I feel her time with the title has come to an end and is no longer benefiting the championship. And every month she wins and continues her record setting title reign. I might as well continue cause eventually I will be right. So I have already tipped my hand that I think there will be a New Diva’s Champion. But the question is who will win the title? That is the $1,000 question right there. In my opinion the 4 divas with the best odds to win the championship are Natalya, Naomi, Brie Bella, and Nikki Bella. It’s no coincidence that all 4 are Total Divas cast members. Natalya is my favorite diva and someone I feel could win as it would be a redemption story for her. Naomi was being pushed before Aksana got involved so I could see them restarting it and giving her the title at Wrestlemania. Both Bellas have worked hard and improved to become good wrestlers. I can see either winning the championship. I am going with Nikki Bella to win the championship as I am most impressed with her and Rack Attack finisher with is an impressive move. Total Divas will finally bring the title to the show.
Winner and New WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella

David Jr.
Ok, every diva in one match.  I’m going to eliminate right away Aksana, Alicia Fox, Cameron, Layla, Rosa Mendes and Summer Rae.   I can’t see any of them winning. That leaves AJ Lee, Emma, Naomi, Bellas, Natalya, Tamina and Eva Marie.  Emma is the hard to pick since she just came up from NXT.  Naomi, Bellas and Natalya being on Total Divas have a chance but I don’t think anyone will win.  Tamina being the ally of AJ could do it, but I am not going with her either.  I get this funny feeling Eva Marie is walking out the Divas Champion.  But I can’t pick her so I say AJ retains.
Winner: I hope it’s not Eva Marie.
That’s why I’m picking AJ Lee.

Jamie
Normally when I see any kind of Divas match on a card I tend to react like most and dread what’s coming. However the performances of the Divas as of late, most notably the Bella Twins, AJ, Natalya, and Naomi, have shown the Divas are getting better and steeping up their game. In this match you have the element of AJ Lee’s Divas Championship reign potentially coming to an end with her going up against 13 other Divas. Does this have potential to be a train wreck? Of course, but I hope the Divas will go out and put on a show in this match and give us all something to talk about. It’s tough to pick a winner in this one because with the Divas it seems the title can just be put on anyone for no reason. My pick though is probably the most improved Divas over the last year. Her in ring work has improved so much and I can’t think of a more deserving Diva right now than Brie Bella.
Winner & new Divas Champion – Brie Bella

Daniel Bryan vs Triple H

Zeppelin
Win this match was first announced many people were upset with it. They said it was too predictable, and that Daniel Bryan should already be in the main event. Then Triple H threw his hat in the ring, and suddenly every Daniel Bryan fan got nervous. That doubt made this match intriguing. My question is if Daniel Bryan wins, won’t we be back to that predictable outcome for our main event? Where will the suspense be, the danger of seeing our hero fail? That is why the best decision is to end this match in a draw. Either by count out, double disqualification, double pin fall, double submission, anything to give us two winners. This way they are both in the main event. That doubt would still linger in the air, and the main event will be a can’t miss spectacle because of it.
Winner – Draw and both advance to the main event

CJ
It seems to be a foregone conclusion that Bryan will win this match and hopefully beat Orton happen, the fans will crap on this pay-per-view more than they did Royal Rumble. The feud has been good, and I expect the match to be just that. Triple H will work on Bryan’s shoulder and Batista to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. If any other result were to in an attempt to stop him from getting another WWE Title opportunity. I’m predicting that these two go at it for a good solid 25-30 minutes before neither man can get up, and the ref reaches the count of ten. This leads to Vince McMahon coming out and saying both men will be in the main event.
No Winner

David Jr.
Wrestler vs. Management feud has been done many times.  And none have ever come close to Stone Cold vs. Mr. McMahon.  However, Triple H is a better worker than Vince McMahon is.   So a Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H match has potential to steal a show, where a Stone Cold vs. Mr. McMahon match would have been unlikely.   So who wins is the question.  While I wouldn’t mind a Randy Orton vs. Batista vs. Triple H match, since they have history with Evolution.  I don’t want it as the main event of Wrestlemania for WWE World Heavyweight Championship.  But this isn’t about what I want, it what I think will happen.  Still I have to go with Daniel Bryan.
Winner: Triple H, no I am lyin.
I’m going with Daniel Bryan.

Jamie
Lets be honest, aside from the main event (If it contains Daniel Bryan) and the Streak, this is probably the most anticipated match on the card. If there has been one story that has captivated the WWE Universe over the last few months it has been the rise, or lack of a rise, for Daniel Bryan. It all started with a Pedigree at Summerslam from Triple H after Bryan seemed to have captured his first WWE Championship, and the feud has now built to this moment. Was this the plan all along? Play up to the fans like WWE were holding Bryan back, exclude him from the Rumble, and then get him into a position where it looks like WWE have no option but to include him in the main event? Anything’s possible and it’s actually great that after everything that we have seen happen with Bryan since Summerslam there’s a chance we could see him in the main event. What I love about this feud is it feels personal and there is an element of realism to it with Bryan being held back. Triple H has played the villain in this perfectly and his beat down on Bryan on Raw a few weeks ago was brutal and brilliant. I just can’t look past Daniel Bryan in this one and think he will definitely be the victor in this one. Not only that, I’m boldly predicting the payoff is finally coming and Daniel Bryan will finally become WWE World Heavyweight Champion at Wrestlemania 30! YES! YES! YES!
Winner – Daniel Bryan

Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal

Kendra
This is the one match that I thought I could bring something different from the rest of the writers, even though everyone has fantastic ideas about who they think should win the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, but I think one major name was missed. I have to admit that I think it would be wonderful for Big Show to win this match, as he is the giant in the WWE, and he really deserves to have a beautiful WrestleMania moment, especially after all the crappy WrestleMania moments he’s had, but I’m not going with Big Show here. The Superstar I want to see win this Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal is someone who has so much talent, but just cannot seem to get out of the gate. He has an interesting look, wonderful ring skills, he can talk, and is over like Rover, but it seems as though when he takes a big leap forward, he’s pushed back at least three paces. He was a great tag competitor, and his MITB match against Cena was stellar, yet he’s done nothing but lose since. I know the WWE, for some reason, wants to have a Superstar on a losing streak before he wins something big, and I’m hoping that’s what’s going on here. I don’t understand their reasoning behind having a Superstar lose for months before winning something big, but they think it’s a great idea. Going on that theory, Sandow has to win this Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. I adore Sandow and think he deserves to be pushed to the top, and has shown that he loves wrestling, the WWE, doesn’t bad talk them, and is planning on sticking around, not just wait out his contract, like a certain other Superstar who shall not be mentioned. So, unless something strange happens, like Punk returning for this match, which would royally piss me off, I have to go with Sandow to win the first Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
Winner – Damien Sandow

Zeppelin
I could be the only one who thinks this, but I am excited for this match; well, at least the final moments of this match. Whoever wins will be getting a great push, and in my opinion, The Real Americans and Rhodes Brothers should have swap matches for WrestleMania. Then Cesaro could swing everyone out of this battle royal and establish himself as a babyface singles competitor. Since Cesaro won’t be in it, the next choice to be getting the push should be Big E. It would help bring prestige to his reign as Intercontinental Champion, propel him as a dominant player in WWE, and would be the surprise victory of the night (seeing as Big Show is heavily favored to win).
Winner – Big E

Adam
This match is the annual battle royal or huge 12-man tag match that gets a lot of names on the card. Ziggler and Big Show have been the only two that I feel have really been seen as legitimate threats in this match, where I feel Show would be too obvious. I have always been a fan of Ziggler, and after his promo on the WWE App, I felt he should be given more exposure. Hopefully he shines through, like he always does.
Winner Dolph Ziggler

David Jr.
I’ve always enjoyed Wrestlemania Battle Royals.  Well except for the Divas one at Wrestlemania 25.  With 30 people in this match, I will try to pick the winner.  No chance at winning are Heath Slater, Jinder Mahal, Drew McIntyre, Brodus Clay, Darren Young, Justin Gabriel, Zack Ryder and Brad Maddox.  As slightly better than no chance are Titus O’Neil, R-Truth, Santino Marella and Great Khali.  Should be in consideration but not likely are Fandango, Damien Sandow and Kofi Kingston.  They are veterans so possible are Christian, Mark Henry, Goldust and Rey Mysterio.  Maybe they are still trying to replace Rey Mysterio and are going to use this match for it is Sin Cara.  They are former WWE Champions so why not them are Alberto Del Rio and the Miz.  I am a current champion, so maybe I should win is Big E. The way to obvious to go with is Big Show.  That leaves me with the three unnamed participants (as of when I wrote this), Sheamus, Cody Rhodes and Dolph Ziggler.  I could see Rob Van Dam taking one of the last three spots and going to 5-0 at Wrestlemania.  If he’s not in it, then I’m picking Dolph Ziggler.
Winner:  Dolph Ziggler is who I see.
Unless there is a return of RVD.

Jesse
First off, I love that they are remembering one of the biggest, both figuratively and literally, reasons WWE and WrestleMania have become the spectacle and success that they have: Andre the Giant. If it wasn’t for Hulk Hogan vs Andre at WM 3, who knows if the sport would have blown up the way that it has. And what a better way to commemorate the late Andre’s legacy than with a Battle Royal! Andre was known for always putting on a show in them. Plus, it doesn’t hurt that it gives a ton of talent who would have been left off the card otherwise a show bonus. Say what you will about guys like 3MB, Huni-Cara, Fandango, Kofi Kingston, Justin Gabriel, Santino, and Zack Ryder, but they work hard for our entertainment 300+ days a year and more than deserve a Mania moment and payoff, no matter how brief that moment may be. Sadly, though, with the way the majority of the stars have been built before now, the list of viable contenders to win it is very slim. In fact, my list cuts down the 27 announced men in the match down to just 7 real possibilities: Dolph Ziggler, Big E, Sheamus, Big Show, Mark Henry, Rey Mysterio, and The Miz. Now, out of those men, I can safely eliminate Rey because of his nagging injury issues. He is lucky to still be walking at this point, and I hope he hangs up the boots after Mania for himself as well as his family. And even though that would make a great feel good story, that the ultimate underdog wins one last big match before hanging it up, it would take away from Bryan’s hopeful underdog win later in the night. While I would like if Big E won it, I can’t see them using this to start a push for him, especially with the way he has been booked as IC Champ. That leaves us with the five veterans in my list. And there is a good case for each man, especially if WWE wants to use this match to relaunch the push of a star such as Ziggler, Sheamus, or The Miz. But I think this is finally the time WWE gives one of their longest tenured veterans his true WrestleMania moment. Big Show has dealt with poor booking, character flips, and more indignities than any one superstar should have to, and for the most part he has done it with a smile on his face. Show’s track record at WrestleMania is well known, having been the focal point of his and Cody Rhodes feud going into WM 28. At 4-9 and not a big moment to speak of in those 4 wins, I could hope that WWE would reward Show with a huge win here. Granted, there are 3 spots still open that could be filled in by anyone, and one of those returns/debuts could easily take the Trophy, but I stand by hope!
Winner – Big Show

Joshua
This is an extremely Unpredictable match. When you have 30 men in the ring at the same time it makes hard to guess who is going to win. Big Show has had the most momentum and has links to Andre as far as being a Giant in today’s world and debuting in WCW as his son. But because of the way he is being booked I don’t see him winning. The Man I see win this match has not been announced yet for the match. I’m taking a chance here but I believe The Rusev Dynasty begins at Wrestlemania with this match and he comes away with the Andre The Giant trophy. The Miz finally loses ending his undefeated streak thus ending the speculation he could be the undefeated wrestler at Wrestlemania.
Winner – Alexander Rusev

John Cena vs Bray Wyatt

CJ
I actually was shocked WWE went with this program at first. It surprised me to see Cena in a lower-card spot, but I’m totally fine with it as long as he puts over Bray Wyatt. This is a great stepping stone for Bray. The feud was well-built with weekly progression, something that’s important for a top match at WrestleMania. WWE would make a huge mistake if they booked Cena to win this, because Bray needs this big win. Cena can recover quickly from this loss, and it won’t do much to his legacy. For this reason, clean or dirty, I predict Bray Wyatt will pin John Cena at WrestleMania.
Winner – Bray Wyatt

Joshua
This has been the best built match on the card and the match I’m looking forward to the most. This match could steal the show. I have liked how they have made Cena seem human and not as certain to beat the younger and up and coming Bray Wyatt. It’s in my opinion that no matter what happens in this match, Bray Wyatt is exiting this match a star. I think Cena will win but it will not be easy and Bray will be made into a star even more so. This is Bray Wyatt’s coming out party. I only wish The Wyatt Family had something they could do during the show so they aren’t relegated to just being in Bray’s corner. John Cena somehow someway overcomes the odds again and wins this match.
Winner – John Cena

Jamie
This one promises to be one of the more interesting matches on the Wrestlemania card. In one hand you have the established veteran John Cena who has been to the dance before and knows what it takes to put on a great match. In the other you have the up and coming Bray Wyatt, a master of promo’s and a man looking to follow up on his stellar match with Daniel Bryan at the Royal Rumble. Both are incredibly talented superstars and you can make arguments for why either man should walk out of this one the winner. I’m going to lean more toward Bray Wyatt walking out the victor here because he has shown that he has the talent to take this gimmick to another level, and giving him a victory over Cena only adds to the credibility of his character. Do I see it being a clean finish? Probably not. With Harper and Rowan ringside there is bound to be some sort of interference toward the end of this one. Follow the Buzzards!
Winner – Bray Wyatt

Jesse
Finally, the match on the card I am most looking forward to! Yes, more than seeing Bryan destroy HHH, more than seeing Taker and Lesnar brawl it out for the Streak, more than seeing a Triple Threat where we could finally have the payoff to the 9 months of build of Daniel Bryan, I am looking forward to seeing Cena battle the newest darkness to cover the WWE, Bray Wyatt. Aside from Bryan/HHH, this match has had some of the best build on the entire card. Cena has played into Bray’s trappings perfectly, and we have seen sides of Cena that we haven’t seen in quite some time. Cena has also shown us some of his best ring work over the past few months, and it is only getting better each week. His match with Harper a couple of weeks ago was absolutely brilliant! Bray’s mic work, while it has always been a solid A up until now, has escalated to an almost mythical quality. The nursery rhymes and children’s songs give me chills each time, and the crowd is clearly being pulled into each promo video he does. Even his matches, for the most part, leave every member in the crowd silent, watching him, trying to digest exactly what he is… man, or monster? And that’s why this match will work so well. Bray and Cena both have built a mythos around themselves as unassailable. No one has been able to stop the Wyatts up to now, and Cena is the Superman of WWE. Both men are more than capable of putting on a high quality match, and for those detractors who say Cena has to be carried in a match, this one will surely prove them all wrong. I fully expect a Match of the Year candidate here. But the real question is, how do you end the match? With both men seemingly matched in powers, it really could go either way. But looking at the possibilities, there’s only 3 real options. The first one is Super Cena defies all of the odds and pins Bray clean. This option is quite likely, as we all know that is the tale WWE loves to spin with Cena on a perpetual basis, but in doing so, WWE could irrevocably damage The Wyatt Family going forward, as there will always be someone who could take down the monster in Bray. The second option is Bray going over Cena clean. I’m not saying there wouldn’t be minor shenanigans from Harper and Rowan, but nothing that drastically alters the match course. This would, of course, propel Bray into the stratosphere with a monster rocket of a push. And it would be fantastic to see, but I just can’t picture Cena going under mostly clean at WrestleMania to a guy who hasn’t totally proven himself at that stage yet. That leaves us with a dirty finish of some sort. And while I would love to see Cena unleash his inner monster and tear through people like a chair swinging freak, I don’t think that’s what we truly need at this point in time. The Wyatts are like the Titan Arum, or corpse flower. They take a long time to grow and bloom, but when they do, it is spectacular to see. And I think we will get to have the privilege of seeing the next step of that growth on Sunday. Cena will get Bray down, get him on the ropes, and then the Family will strike. Cena will end up with the battle won, but that isn’t what matters to Bray. The Family will be too much for WWE’s Superman to overcome. John Cena will fall, and at the end of the day, Bray Wyatt will have won. Because at his feet will be our broken hero, the man the fans thought would overcome him. Bray will then carry back Cena’s body to show just how he broke the unbreakable and truly won the war. Follow the buzzards.
Winner – John Cena via DQ

The Streak – The Undertaker vs Brock Lesnar

Matt
The Streak has, in the past 5 years or so, been one of the biggest attractions of WrestleMania. The Undertaker has delivered some of the most memorable matches against the likes of Shawn Michaels, Triple H and CM Punk. This year, he faces a challenge unlike any of those in the beast, Brock Lesnar. The buildup for this match has many wrestling fans scratching their heads. It hasn’t really been as personal or engulfing in mind games like last year’s. We need to realize that CM Punk was able to use the passing of Paul Bearer to get into Undertaker’s head and that created one of the best builds to a Mania match ever. Lesnar isn’t as fortunate (which I guess is a good thing that no one died). The Undertaker has had some very known and serious knee and hip problems in recent years. Each time he enters a ring, he chips off more and more time before his body completely craps out on him. Brock Lesnar is notoriously brutal ever since coming back to WWE after ruling the UFC mountain. Undertaker said that it’s inevitable that The Streak will end. I know a lot of the IWC wants to think that Sting is coming to WWE and that he will challenge The Streak next year. Until WWE confirms it, it’s just fans WANTING to see something. I can honestly see Lesnar breaking the Streak. For something like this, everyone thinks that whomever breaks The Streak will get the boost of their career. However, I compare this situation to the Ric Flair vs Shawn Michaels match. A friend wanting another friend to end his career because it’s out of love and respect. Undertaker and Lesnar are buddies and have connected because of their love for MMA in recent years. The mutual respect turned to friendship. Lesnar is the perfect person to break The Streak for that reason alone. There is also a good chance of Taker getting injured in this match. Any serious injury at this point in his career is a career-ender. Is it really worth the risk of keeping The Streak intact when your body won’t work? I think not. Although everyone says Undertaker is a foregone winner, I disagree. The way this program has been built and the subtle way things have been said on the mic by both Heyman and Taker; I fully believe that The Undertaker will retire 21-1.
Predicted Winner – Brock Lesnar

Zeppelin
The deadman is going to go 22-0. Think about it, what is to gain if Brock Lesnar goes over? He isn’t a full time worker; he is already a top star, and who knows if he will continue with WWE after this run is up. Paul Heyman has been doing a great job enticing doubt into fan’s minds by talking about how incredible the streak will still be when Undertaker loses, but regardless of that, Undertaker will reign 22-0.
Winner – Undertaker

Adam
The Undertaker will always be immortal. Each and every year, his match has been my favorite on the show. At his age, he is that of legend, and with his track record I believe he can put out another classic. Not that Lesnar isn’t good, but everyone says he may be to reckless. I feel if Undertaker felt as if he couldn’t maintain proper safety in his match, he wouldn’t do it. And if he did, he is once again sacrificing his body at his older age for the business. Taker will etch another mark on the streak, producing another classic in the process.
Winner – Undertaker

Jamie
The legendary Streak of the Undertaker is the match that every year gets the most attention. Wrestling fans are always wondering who the next challenger will be. This year up steps Brock Lesnar, a match that as we know the Undertaker has wanted to work for some time now. It’s the second year in a row a Paul Heyman guy goes up against the Dead Man and just like CM Punk showed no fear, Brock Lesnar is doing the same. Do I honestly think this is the year the Streak ends? Hell no! I think this has the potential to be a pretty decent match. It may not be the show stealing match like Undertaker’s last few matches have been but I expect it to be a war between these two men. The Streak continues to 22-0. Rest In Peace Brock.
Winner – Undertaker

Triple Threat WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match – Randy Orton (c) vs Batista vs TBD

Matt
I’m going to preface this by saying that somehow, I believe Triple H AND Daniel Bryan will be inserted into this match thus making it a Fatal Four Way for the WWE WHC. I feel bad that Randy Orton and Batista are pretty much after thoughts based on how Bryan was catapulted after the fan reaction from the Rumble and beyond. WWE has done a great job of booking Bryan to seem more important than Orton and Batista. They knew how the fans would react. That being said, I still think this is going to be one of the show stealing matches. Big Dave has put on some great Mania matches, too. It would be PPV suicide to NOT have Daniel Bryan in this match. WWE will have 80,000 fans, most of whom will be drinking, vocally upset and I worry that they could get potentially violent. The way I see this unfolding is that Triple H and Bryan will be in this match (probably from a DQ in their singles match earlier in the evening). Once there, this match will be back and forth with the fans, no doubt, coming completely unglued. Remember how there are still two title belts? Yeah, that’s going to come in to play. We’re going to see one of those double finishes. Either Batista and Bryan pinning both Triple H and Orton at the same time, or a school boy gone wrong: we will see two winners. Batista and Daniel Bryan are both going to be declared winners. Until things can be settled further, one of them will get one of the belts and the other will get the remaining belt. This will lead to a program at future PPVs to unify the one true champion like at Wrestlemania X and John Cena/Punk in 2012.
Winners and New WWE Champ – Batista and Daniel Bryan

CJ
The match has been made a fatal-four-way match, and there are no disqualifications or count-outs. These four go at it using weapons to weaken each other. I think it would be cool to have Triple H and Orton ignore each other at first and then have a confrontation in the ring that leads to punches being thrown. Bryan flies in and out of the ring taking out everyone, trying to get that huge WrestleMania moment and the titles. Batista tries to be an animal, but will come up short. The Viper doesn’t stand a chance either. After a brutal, show-stealing main event, Daniel Bryan will hit the running knee on Triple H and pin him to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, leaving every WWE fan screaming, cheering, and blowing up the internet.
Winner – Daniel Bryan

Adam
A match that has been very reminiscent to the Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Chris Benoit main event; we have two established main eventers and one who is on the threshold of being the best in the company. Putting the option of Daniel Bryan entering the match saved the show big time. This match, and the “slow burn” as everyone likes to call it, is what everyone is looking forward to most. Or the thought of Daniel Bryan finally obtaining the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Nothing that hasn’t been said about this match needs to be reiterated by me, but the Yes Movement will finally reach it’s peak come this Sunday.
Winner & WWE World Heavyweight Champion – Daniel Bryan

Joshua
I want to believe Daniel Bryan is coming out of Wrestlemania with the title. I want to believe he’ll have his Wrestlemania X Bret Hart Moment. I want to believe WWE is going to listen to its fans and give the ball to Bryan and see how he handles being the top guy. I want to believe all that and yet I believe it won’t happen. I don’t see WWE doing the right thing here and giving Bryan his moment at Wrestlemania. I have never seen a Royal Rumble match winner with less steam then Batista has going into this match. That leads me to believe he is walking out of Wrestlemania the champion. I don’t like it but that is the way I am looking at Wrestlemania 30 Main-Event.
Winner – New WWE World Heavyweight Champion Batista

As much as I want Bryan to win, there is a certain, sick part of me that thinks it would be hilarious for HHH to roll up into WM 30 and pin Bryan clean then declare that instead of a Triple Threat, it’s now a 3 Way Dance and finally go on to pin Orton and Batista in the middle of the ring.

    • Evon Callaway Bitterweed Reese

That would bring the major heat of the night. Lol. I like it because I don’t think Bryan is going to win anyway. If Stone Cold interferes and helps Bryan win over Triple H your idea would work great.

  • Morgan “The Retro Goat” Hench

Random goat in the tag bout? Did I just get referenced?

Anyway, I’ll throw my two cents in. No huge explanations, just my quick predictions.

    The Retro Goat’s Wrestlemania Predictions.
Uso’s retain titles, causing The Real Americans to split.
The Shield wins, though not without the Corporate Stooges trying to cheat.
Cesaro wins the Andre the Giant Battle Royale (assuming there aren’t any big surprise entrants)
Daniel Bryan vs Triple H ends in a DQ tie, setting up for a Fatal Four Way
    Diva bout….I’ll say Naomi.
    Bray beats Cena baaaaarely.
‘Taker beats Lesnar, hopefully without legitimately destroying his body in the process.
Daniel wins the WWEWHC title by pinning Triple H.

    • Moe

I would be more for HHH tapping out to the “Yes” Lock.

      • Morgan “The Retro Goat” Hench

Either one would be great to me, really!

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

It’s actually a cow, for El Torito. Last year I couldn’t find a Bryan, so I used a goat.

      • Morgan “The Retro Goat” Hench

Aww, and I was about to feel so special.

  • Radical Rex

The buildup for Wrestlemania hasn’t been the best this year, but I’m still looking forward to it. I’m really interested to see what WWE does with Bryan and Bray.

For predictions, I’ll say Usos win the pre-show, with Swagger taking the pin to lead to The Real Americans breaking up. Shield will definitely beat Kane’s team. Naomi is my bet for the Diva match, with Tamina and Natalya being close runner-ups. There’s still three spots open in the Battle Royal and I’m sure Alexander Rusev will get one of them, so he’s my bet to win since Cesaro isn’t in the match. Bray should (hopefully) go over Cena, be it dirty or not. Undertaker will obviously keep the streak alive, and Bryan vs Triple H probably WILL end in a no contest so that they can put both of them in the main event.

I can’t get a read on if WWE is going to go for the feel good ending to Wrestlemania or the ending where they try to make Batista or Triple H as hated as possible. The only thing I’m sure of is that Orton is losing the title. For now I’m leaning towards the feel good ending more, so Bryan gets my pick for winning the main event.

  • David Jr.

Love the Penguin representing Paul Heyman.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Thanks, I came up with that last year when I didn’t have a Heyman to stand with Brock against Trip. It just feels right on so many levels.

  • King A sshole

If Triple H and John Cena win, I’ll complain like 80′s Fanboys that just watched the Nightmare on Elm St remake for the first time.

  • GODSENT68

I just read Jesse’s prediction for the battle and full heartedly agree with everything he pointed out. I also want to point out it’d actually would be a cool homage to his original gimmick in WCW as the son of the Giant

  • Evon Callaway Bitterweed Reese

    Usos
Kane ( Shield turn on each other)
    AJ ( I hope I’m wrong)
    Daniel Bryan
    Big Show
    Cena
Undertaker ( if Lesnar ends the streak I will throw up)
Randy Orton ( Bryan wins next PPV)
I think everyone is trying to take out Bryan and Randy is going to RKO someone off guard and steal the win. Hope I’m wrong.

What I am really hoping for is Stone Cold to interfere somehow and help Bryan win. If the glass breaks the crowd POPS.

  • Adam Eaton

I have a prediction that no one seems to be talking about. That is Summer Rae winning the diva invitational and the divas championship. I think that given the tie in with what is happening on total divas there are so many storylines that could come out of it. I think it would also be a nice surprise since she seems to be under everyones radar.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I actually have been thinking that SR might be winning. I have it in my personal predicts between her and Aj.

  • Stephen Cash

Bryan wins the title, and celebrates Cena comes out to congratulate him, but turns on him and delivers the AA, Orton comes in PO’d and Cena takes him out too, then the Authority come down to introduce the new member! Cena heel turn!!! It should be done!!!! Him turning on Bryan would be the best turn ever!

    • Evon Callaway Bitterweed Reese

      Yes! Yes! Yes!

    • W0NK042

The biggest problem they have, with turning Cena heel, is [A] The amount of revenue he brings in from kids wanting his gear. [B] All those sick kids he helps, suddenly having their idol turn in to a “Bad guy”.

    • Gary Robert

      one could only hope

  • Chris B

I fear that wwe has spoiled me too much over the last couple of years. Year long build ups, undertaker vs hbk/hhh, then punks epic heel build, Lesner would have had to kill someone to top those three men. Three years of Rock/Cena (sorry Miz but the Rock stole your wrestlemania moment, he does that), a couple of months just doesn’t compare.

Delayed starts and seemingly thrown together matches (what is the point of the shields match against Kane and two nostalgia acts), I don’t know if this wrestlemania is a weak contender or simply suffers from what has preceded it

    • Evon Callaway Bitterweed Reese

I agree with you on The Miz. I wonder where he would be now if The Rock had not stolen his spotlight. After that all the attention shifted from The Miz to The Rock.

  • Jasont2300

Usos, Shield, Mysterio, AJ, Neither Bryan or HHH will win, Wyatt, Taker and Batista are everybody who i feel who will win.

  • Jasont2300

Just imagine if Batista win, do you know how big of a heel he can generate into? He would be like the Shao Khan of the WWE, i save let him pin Bryan!

  • W0NK042

I think the biggest match of the evening will be: Wrestlemania 30 Vs. Game of Thrones [S04-E01].

  • W0NK042

Oh & as for “The Streak” – I get the feeling ‘taker asked for Brock, due to his ferocity &

that he is at the point now that the steak will end over his [You know what goes here, but I'm not typing it]*

    * This is in no way wishing ill of the man, it is just my feeling that this is how he feels (Based on how he carries himself, little words/looks here & there, etc).

With that said, hat would be awesome, would be: Undertaker wins >Lights dim, his music etc Lights up, Sting on the ramp.

Oh & Punk for entrant 30 in the WMRumble. ;o)

    • W0NK042

      What* >*

  • Gary Robert

Don’t worry, Kendra. Punk isn’t coming back for a cheesy battle royal that no one really cares about when he wasn’t interested in coming back to main event. Also, I don’t think Sandow is “over like rover.” He’s in mid-card Hell. This isn’t a match that elevates anyone so, to me, the only logical winner is indeed Big Show simply as this generations version of Andre himself.

  • Malboja

Think of this if taker looses to Brock they could never set up taker vs sting

  • ThatVoiceInTheShadow

Dream Swerve: Last 3 entrants to the Memorial Rumble: 28/29 Hall & Nash, who clear the few that are left: #30: Hogan > Full nWo entrance > Climbs in ring > Other two climb out (Over the top rope) > Hogan wins the memorial to his friend, while screwing over the WWE Fans in monumental fashion.
