WWE Preparing For The Exit Of A Top Star

Mark Henry’s monster push in WWE is over and he could be winding down his career.

As I reported here on WrestlingNewsWorld.com Premium back in January, Henry is very unhappy with his position in the company and is seriously considering retiring when his contract expires.

While I do not have a confirmed date for his contract expiration, the deal is believed to be up late this year (possibly September). The reason Henry has lost clean on WWE TV lately is more or less the company protecting against a departure that currently seems inevitable.

I always felt that it could/should have gone on longer.

He hurt his ankle and while working with a hurt ankle hurt his knee. Given his size problems like this where bound to happen. I agree that his run at the top was short and dissapointing. I hope WWE gives him a final farewell push before he calls it a career.

No, first he injured his groin, which is why he lost the title in the first place, then he injured is knee on top of that
Always though he should of taken time off after his groin injury and come back when he was a 100%

With some of his injuries in the middle of his career, it was very surprising he’s lasted 16 years.

Eh, he never had the talent to be considered a top guy anyway

      The ratings say different.

If he does wind up leaving, at least he had those few months where he was THE guy. This time eight or nine months ago, I never thought I'd see the day that: A) Mark Henry became a World Champion, and B) that I'd be happy to see it!
