In Ring Segment

Bryan out to the ring in a new ‘Respect the beard shirt’ (want). “YES!” “YES!” “YES!” from the fans.

Bryan – Last week the burning question on everyone’s mind in the WWE ‘Universe’ was finally answered. Is Bryan the weak link?

“NO!” “NO!” “NO!”

Bryan – After making Orton tap out in the middle of the ring, you answered that already. “NO!”

“YES!” “YES!” “YES!”

Bryan – That asks a new question. Can Bryan ride this wave into MITB and win that contract?

“YES!” “YES!” “YES!”

Bryan – If there was only a simple three letter word for that.

Confusion.

Bryan – You had it right the first time, “YES!” “YES!” “YES!”

“YES!” “YES!” “YES!”

Bryan – You see I want to be WWE Champion. I want to follow in the footsteps of the great. Bruno Sammartino (pop) Hulk Hogan (heat) Steve Austin (pop) The Rock (mixed) Bryan

“YES!” “YES!” “YES!”

Bryan – Why not? Two years ago I won and cashed in to become WHC. It’s been far too long. Just because this MITB is filled with All Stars doesn’t mean history can’t repeat itself. I can be WWE Champion.

Sheamus (comes out) – Since we’re talking about history Danny Boy. I thought I’d come out and tell you how the story ended.

Bryan – No one wants to hear how that story ended. Nobody cares.

Sheamus – What? How I beat you at WrestleMania in 18 seconds? (heat) Look, I’m not out here to say I’ll win MITB in 18 seconds, just that it’s been too long since I’ve been Champ and I won’t let anyone get in my way.

Bryan – If I call 1-800-FELLA, will you come out here and brogue kick yourself in the head?

“YES!” “YES!” “YES!”

Sheamus – That’s pretty funny. I didn’t know you had a sense of humor. I always thought trolls were grumpy.

Orton (comes out) – Wait a minute, wait a minute. Let me get this straight. You’re out here arguing how long it’s been since you were Champ. It’s been two years for me. I’m not hungry, I’m starving. A starving man takes what he needs. I need the WWE Title. So, after I win MITB, I won’t hesitate, like Cena, to cash it in on the next Champ I see.

Bryan – There’s something else I know. I know last week I made you tap out.

“You tapped out!” (Orton seems to be hiding his mouth, and a possible smile or laughter.)

Orton – I’m going to let that slide Dan, but disrespect me once more and I will drop you where you stand. I am desperate, it means no one is safe.

Fire erupts and out comes Kane.

Kane – I agree Randy. No one is safe. Especially you. No one in the history has been more ruthless than me, especially with the Title on the line. I have no trouble causing unspeakable against against my opponents. Even my friends.

Bryan – Why are you looking at me like that Kane? You’re unhappy about Smackdown. Unlike me, you can’t beat Orton.

Kane – I can’t wait for MITB because it’s every man for himself. No partners, no friends, only victims.

They argue back and forth that ‘I am going to be WWE Champion!’ and ‘I’m going to win MITB!’

Christian – Whoa, whoa, whoa, wait a second. I hate to break up your lovers quarrel. When it comes to the Ladder Match, there’s one man who’s been in more, and had more success than anyone in WWE history, that’s me. I’ve been gone for a while, but I;m back and want one more match. That’s for the WWE Championship. I might not be the biggest, strongest, scariest, or the hairiest, but I am the best!

Punk – I made a promise to myself and not do the predictable thing, come out and do what you’re doing, but then I heard one word, best. Christian I respect the hell out of you and all you’ve done in your career.

“CM Punk!”

Punk – I’m not only the best in the world, and the only man who’s won it twice, and soon to be the only who has won it three times. I don’t want you to misunderstand me. We’re all jerks, so I don’t care if you misunderstand me. I’m the best in this ring, nobody can touch me, and I know how formidable the competition is. RVD. I’d like to think you’re watching somewhere, and I know your game plan. You’re fearless and will do whatever it takes to get that case. Sheamus, one of the toughest SOBs I’ve been in the ring with. Randy…

Bryan – Enough! You going to talk about each of us, then say how you’re better than us all?

Punk – Yes.

Bryan – I don’t want to hear another word from you. One more word and I will make you tape out faster than Orton last week.

Orton – Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

Orton steps toward Bryan, but Kane steps in Orton’s way.

Bryan (turns Kane around) – I don’t need anyone fighting my battles for me. I…

Orton turns Kane into an RKO! The rest start around at each other. Christian from the ring. Punk also leaves the ring. Sheamus leaves. Bryan watches Orton as he leaves. Bryan checks on his good friend on the mat, but then argues with him off mic.

Steph – That’s fair, I’ve been there before.
Vickie – I’m trying my best. This is really tough.
Steph – I understand. I’ve been there. I do, it’s something special about RAW, how unpredictable things can be. When you’re getting conflicting reports from the top, how can you do your job well?
Vickie – Steph, I’m so glad you understand.
Steph – How can I help you?
Vickie – Thank you. Understanding where I’m coming from. Us being women, working in a male dominated environment…
Steph – That’s true.
Vickie – I mean they’re sending mixes signals, the men are sending crazy, hehehe…
Steph – Are you trying to be funny Vickie? When did we become girlfriends? I’m here for you in a business sense. Quite frankly I don’t like you making fun of my husband or father, or trying to play us one off the other. I agree that you need specific direction and need to know where you stand. You’re going to have a job evaluation, publicly, in the ring.
Vickie – I don’t know if that’s…
Steph – You could get promoted to the GM of RAW. Or you could get fired. The greatest thing about RAW, it’s unpredictable. You just never know what’s going to happen next. (Steph leaves and Vickie looks like she’s going to cry or barf.)

Welcome to this week’s Raw Watch Party! I am your co-host Jesse Sherwood and WWE has an intreguing Raw lines up for us this week! Let’s Break it Down!

    1. CM Punk has been forced into a tag match with Curtis Axel against the Primetime Players! But Punk said he will handle this himself! Will he prove he is the Best in the World and win the match himself or will the Primetime Players prove that they are worth Millions of Dollars?

    2. Daniel Bryan cost Kane his match on Friday night against Randy Orton! Will the Big Red Monster finally snap and take retribution on Bryan?

    3. Vickie Guerrero announced a Champion vs. Champion match between John Cena and Alberto Del Rio for tonight! But will Ziggler and Henry let the match happen, given their antimosity towards the champions?

    4. AJ and Kaitlyn have been exchanging barbs back and forth over the last week! Will we finally see them take their frustrations out in the ring?

    5. What will the Shield do to Christian and the Usos after suffering a loss to them on Smackdown?

All of this and more will come tonight! What are you looking forward to?

  • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Sorry this was late and screwy getting up. But we’re up and ready to party!

  • Navin T. Ramkissoon

Evening Guys. Hope you all enjoy this weeks Raw

  • Craig

I can see teddy long coming out and making a tag match Cena ziggler vs del rio Henry!!

    • Jesse Sherwood

NO! NO! NO! Teddy Long Specials are banned!

  • BrooksOglesby

Looks like they’re calling the Raw MITB the “Money in the Bank All-Stars,” which is warranted. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a stronger line-up. Obviously, I’m pulling for Bryan, but I won’t be that upset regardless of who wins. Kane won’t, and I’m hoping that Orton & Sheamus don’t, given that they can hop into the main event whenever they want, but anybody else winning it intrigues me.

  • Craig

Cm punk will win money in the bank because wrestling news world said that brocks new contract has a wwe title run have punk win cash in either same night (we all know Cena will main event) or at night of champions the punk vs Brock at summer slam for the wwe title!!

  • Jesse Sherwood

Yes! We get the music montage this week!

  • Navin T. Ramkissoon

I love Daniel’s New Respect The Beard T Shirt

  • Xavier

After watching Smackdown last Friday it’s becoming pretty obvious that Daniel Bryan is turning heel at some point.

  • Xavier

After watching Smackdown last Friday it’s becoming pretty obvious that Daniel Bryan is turning heel.

    • Jesse Sherwood

I’m not totally sure on that one. A heel turn might kill his momentum.

      • Xavier

The reason I say that is because of the way he cost Kane his match and the smirk he had at the end of the match. He’s character is becoming extremely cocky

        • Jesse Sherwood

I agree. But after he hit a low like he did with the Weak Link storyline, he would naturally become a bit cocky.

  • Xavier

Okay, so I guess WNW won’t let me post my last comment smh

    • Jesse Sherwood

About the Heel Turn? It posted twice.

      • Adam Paul Haase

Don’t you hate it when you double post.

        Technology hates us at times.

      • Xavier

LOL just noticed it finally posted

    • Jesse Sherwood

      Try refreshing your browser.

    • Cubed56

Happened to me last week, sign out of WNW and disqus and sign back into both and you should be good.

  • Mr.V

I know it’s good when they actually have me tuning in waiting. Love how they “sell” the prime time players you gotta forget that stupid crap they just did when the better writing starts up again. I choose to have a short memory it’s a lot more fun

  • Cubed56

I’m pretty sure I’m in the minority here. I’m all for a DB push, but lately it seems like its been too much DB. Opening shows, closing shows, multiple backstage segments. I’m getting DB overdose, not tha it’s a bad thing right now, but I feel it could become too much. Like I said I’m probably in the minority I just hope DB fatigue doesn’t set in like it has with cena, the rock, and cm punk recently.

    • Jesse Sherwood

I don’t think it will. They pulled it back on last week’s Smackdown.

    • Xavier

I feel the same way, he’s been all over RAW & SD in multiple segments.

  • Xavier

I really would love too see Christian win MITB. I think he’s easily the most deserving of all the guys in this match. People claim how Punk & Bryan get under utilized but no one get’s under utilized more then Christian and it’s not even close.

    • Jesse Sherwood

Christian needs a MITB win. He has been in 6 or 7 of them and yet to win it. A win would really solidify his legacy in MITB.

      • Xavier

I wouldn’t mind seeing a Cena/Christian feud. That’s the feud we should of got in 05.

        • Cubed56

Respectfully disagree, Christian deserves better then to get buried in a feud with cena.

          • Xavier

            LOL

        • Jesse Sherwood

I wouldn’t mind that either, but it looks like Christian will be feuding with Ambrose in the near future. Although… That does pose and interesting idea! Have Christian win the US Title and openly challenge Cena at Night of Champions to merge the titles like they did the WWE and IC titles back in 01.

    • Smart Mark

Probably the most underrated Superstar out.

  • Jesse Sherwood

I love these little history pieces they will be doing tonight. It is a great way to educate newer fans on the history of the business.

    • cobra

The biggest asset of the WWE is there video library. So it makes sense to use them.

  • Cubed56

I’m willing to bet that the cena/del rio match turns into cena/Ziggler vs ADR/Henry

  • Mr.V

Awesome. All they all wanted was to win. Fantastic. So simple. That was a great inclusion of all involved … crossed story lines …none go away weakened. Simple

    • Cubed56

And of course the old vet Kane was the one to take the bump.

      • Jesse Sherwood

Why not? He sells better than at least two of the others in the ring!

      • Mr.V

Of course, gotta keep the youngins strong … In a perfect wrestling world though, Kane would have got back up and cleared the ring.

  • Cubed56

Wyatt Family vignettes= greatest vignettes ever!

    • Jesse Sherwood

I respectfully disagree. Sean O’Haire’s vignettes were equally as awesome!

      • Cubed56

O yes, I forgot about those, not sure how. Great point Jesse.

        • Jesse Sherwood

I will say that they are some of the creepiest ones WWE has ever produced. Makes me think they are making a horror movie about them.

  • Cubed56

Everytime I hear the usos entrance music hit I feel like crip walking across my living room.

    • Jesse Sherwood

Their music definitely doesn’t fit their gimmick.

      • Cubed56

Really? I think it fits fine, thier family lineage has all had a hip hop feel to them.

        • Jesse Sherwood

With the war dance in their entrance it feels off. Either have just the music or have them come out with the beat but not the lyrics.

          • Cubed56

Alright I see where your coming from.

          • Xavier

Cubed56 has a great point. I’m from Cali and most of the Samoans out there are very submerged into hip hop culture.out there.

  • Xavier

The slow heel turn of Daniel Bryan continues

    • Cubed56

      Sad….very sad

      • Xavier

        It’s coming bro

        • Cubed56

I agree with you, I just think its a HUGE mistake.

          • Xavier

Have you noticed that the WWE is face heavy in the main event scene? Cena, Punk, Orton, Sheamus, Bryan, Jericho, Christian, Miz, Ziggler, Mysterio, HHH, Taker, Kane. Someone has too turn

          • Cubed56

No doubt, but why turn the most over guy in the company, it’s arguably like turning cena. You don’t turn someone that over you capitalize on it. I’d rather see Orton and Kane turn.

          • Xavier

I would love too see Orton turn. But remember when WWE turned Rock heel in late 98 when he was super over at Survivor Series, that worked out pretty well

          • Cubed56

Yea but wasn’t that rocks first turn, DB has already been heel, so it won’t be as shocking as the original rock turn.

          • Xavier

Rock was a face in 97 then turned heel when he joined the Nation then broke away from them and got super over as a face before turning heel again and joining McMahon’s corporation

          • Cubed56

That’s right. I’m not saying I’m against a DB heel turn, I just think he’s so far over like nobody but cena has been in awhile, why ruin it.

          • Xavier

I see what your saying. I’m pretty impartial to it. I like Bryan but I don’t honestly think he’ll ever become a big enough of a name to ever reach the heights if a John Cena. I’m not really sure that guy is on the roster right now and that’s why we’ve never seen the long anticipated Cena heel turn. The one guy I think that did have that chance was Jeff Hardy back in 09, that guy was batshit over before he left. But he could never stay clean

          • Cubed56

Agreed. That’s just it though, wwe is scared to death to turn cena and give someone else a chance. What alot of people don’t understand is if cena turns half the audience will hate him half will love him, it’s just what half hates and loves that will change. Kids are easily manipulated, wwe can easily get them too love someone else like cena and sell just as much merchandise and DVDs, etc. the biggest problem for them turning him honestly is his association with make a wish, and rightfully so.

          • Jesse Sherwood

The kids already have people that they love: Bryan, Sheamus, and Orton. Every WWE Event I go to, Sheamus sells out of kids merch soon after Cena, as does Bryan. Orton has the adult crowd.

          • Cubed56

Ok that furthers my point, it’s not like cena is the only person moving merchandise and other stuff they are obviously gonna be fine there if he ever turns heel. I really feel his partnership with make a wish is why he hasn’t turned yet. I’m not one of those people advocating for a cena turn, I could care less, I just wish wwe someday has the guts to do it, cause if it ever happens, you can guarantee it will be forever one of the biggest moments in wwe history.

          • Jesse Sherwood

Agreed. It’ll be a moment like when HH turned. People will talk about it for years.

          • Xavier

A Cena turn will happen at some point, but the timing has too be right. The landscape has to be right for it. Like Jesse said, it could end up being as big & epic as Hogan’s heel turn but on the flipside of that (if not done correctly) it could end up flopping like Austin’s heel turn.

          • Xavier

And your right, Cena isn’t the only one moving merchandise but he’s still clearly the front runner. But it’s even more complicated then that though. Who on the roster is willing to do all the autograph signings, all the make-a-wish & fight against breast cancer stuff. Who’s willing to film movies for WWE studios without taking time off, who’s well spoken enough to do all the interviews with all the major media outlets. Who has Cena’s work ethic & durability. Being that #1 guy goes far beyond crowd pops and merch sales. Not just anyone can fill that void.

          • Cubed56

Agree fully, but alot of superstars do make a wish they just dont get the publicity cena does. And there are guys that work as hard as cena(Bryan, Ziggler, miz, punk to name a few) and we all know damn well they could do without those crappy wwe movies none of them are good. You could have said the same about the rock, Austin, taker, hogan, and more but someone will always be there to fill the shoes and someone always has been. It’s simply make a wish that’s holding back a cena heel turn, and I’m ok with that cause its a great thing he’s dong for all those kids.

          • Smart Mark

Could you imagine if Cena turned heel on Bryan? Like came out to help him with a chair and ended up hitting him. That would instantly make Cena #1 heel and Bryan #1 face.

          • Smart Mark

Honestly, the only other guy that i see to fill in Cena’s shoes (and i mean face of the company, can wrestle, good on mic, draws a reaction and promotes the hell outta WWE in off air radio/TV interviews) is probably Y2J but knowing his contract situation and how he’s not full-time, its not possible. So your right, there is no one on the roster to take his place.

          • Jesse Sherwood

But it would still have a similar effect if done at the right juncture and with the right face. Sadly, the only people that it would work with is with Orton or Cena, although I question it with Cena.

          • Cubed56

That’s what I mean, it seems like everyone turns from face to heel on cena lately, so it wouldn’t really be that big of a shock or make a huge impression, cause it would retry much be expected. Same if he turned using Kane, that’s just too obvious.

          • Cubed56

Adding to that, you’ve got Henry,Ryback, del rio, lesnar, axel, the shield, big show all as heels. It’s about even between faces and heels, the problem is the faces are so far over with fans they overshadow the heels. Kinda confusing but you get where I’m coming from, kinda?

  • Jesse Sherwood

Alright! Ziggler is in action! About time that we get to see the Show Off in the ring!

  • Richie

Dean Ambrose’s facial expressions are second to none!

  • Cubed56

So much for a face Ziggler, his zig zag to Jericho stopped that, i heard more boos then cheers during his entrance.

    • Jesse Sherwood

I think it is because they are unsure of where he fits on the spectrum. He has still acted heel while performing face actions. Though the Zig Zag on Jericho didn’t help.

  • Jesse Sherwood

Did anyone else notice that he isn’t with AJ or Big E? Maybe they are distancing him from them to solidify his face turn.

    • Xavier

I noticed that as well. That was by design. If AJ/Big E are antagonizing Katilyn then they can’t have Ziggler with them if they are trying to turn him face

      • Jesse Sherwood

But with no storyline explanation is just poor booking. At least have a backstage segment for it!

        • Xavier

I’m sure they’ll address it at some point. But you do have to ask if Big E is a big enough name at this point to even have a breakup angle with Ziggler that would even get over.

          • Jesse Sherwood

Maybe not, but AJ is. And she alone could help Big E get over for a small feud with Ziggler.

  • Jesse Sherwood

Ugh! Do we have to see Little Khali in the ring?

  • Jesse Sherwood

    And the crazy chants begin!

  • Jesse Sherwood

Harley Race was one of the best champions of the NWA era. I wish I could have seen him live in his prime. Sadly, video tapes don’t entirely do him justice from what I heard from my father.

    • Xavier

Triple H borrowed a lot of his gimmick from Harley Race.

      • Jesse Sherwood

Yes, he did. But an imitation is never as good as the original. Not saying HHH isn’t great, as he is one of the best superstars of the last 15 years, but the stars of the last 2 generations pale in comparison to the stars of the territorial era.

        • Xavier

I’d say it’s about even. Just simply because of the superstars of today have too have the charisma too get over in all the regions of the country. But it is really hard to compare wrestlers from the 60s, 70s & early 80s of those that came after. But I understand where your coming from

  • cobra

I wish they give Doink (Matt Osborne) a proper tribute video. The original Heel Doink is one of those characters that never should have worked but Matt Osborne made it work.

    • Jesse Sherwood

I agree, but with an investigation ongoing WWE is hedging their bets. They don’t want a PR issue.

      • cobra

        Well if they can’t then.
        RIP Doink.

  • Jesse Sherwood

Wait, if Bryan DQed Orton during the break, why is the match still going on?

    • Navin T. Ramkissoon

Didn’t Kane call for the restart?

      • Jesse Sherwood

I don’t use the app, so I legitimately don’t know. Announce failed to explain it.

        • Stephen Cash

It wasn’t on commercial for me… It all aired on live TV.

          • Jesse Sherwood

Oh, sorry! It happened while I was distracted with my children.

  • Navin T. Ramkissoon

As much as I respect Kane and Bryan I don’t want to see them feud again. They should move on to other feuds.

  • Jesse Sherwood

Dusty and Backlund… Two of the most underrated champions of their generation.

  • Jesse Sherwood

Wait, Fandango is returning from injury just to be thrown to Sheamus? Who did he tick off?

  • Stephen Cash

That music is bad news for Fandango. I hope he goes over. Sheamus is boring…

  • Jesse Sherwood

Sadly, Summer Rae is getting the biggest pops in this match!

    • cobra

Well she has the best legs in the WWE since Stacey Keibler.

      • Jesse Sherwood

Very true! She is quite stunning, but her ring work leaves something to be desired. Hopefully, she will improve over the next few months before she steps foot into the Divas Division.

  • Stephen Cash

I don’t like the fandango gimmick, but I like Curtis!

  • Stephen Cash

    Sheamus I boring!

  • Stephen Cash

    Mediocre Raw…

    • Jesse Sherwood

It is a bit rough around the edges compared to the last two weeks. I’m betting there were a few rewrites this week.

      • cobra

So I’m guessing Paul Heyman and Zeb Colter weren’t consulted for this episode.

  • Jesse Sherwood

Did Miz raid the Spirit Squad’s locker?

  • Jesse Sherwood

Cryback Quit! Wow, he really must be in the doghouse to be booked this weak!

  • Stephen Cash

It’s like they’re trying to make Ryback like vulnerable… If he was winning PPV, I would love this no finish, but it just makes him look even weaker…

    • Jesse Sherwood

Sadly, the last PPV win he has was at MITB last year against Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks.

  • Stephen Cash

Henry lets the “What?” Get to him to much.

  • Xavier

    Another good promo from Henry

  • Cubed56

Is it just me, or did that promo have a little bit of a shoot feeling to it.

    • Jesse Sherwood

Just a bit. Worked shoot most likely, but still fairly good.

    • Xavier

      Definitely

  • Jesse Sherwood

“You give it away for FREE!” Anyone else feel VKM is going to align himself with Heyman?

    • Stephen Cash

I was thinking the same thing. Hetman, Vince vs. steph and Hunter… Interesting. Not in a match of course, but a feud…

      • Jesse Sherwood

Or Heyman/VKM, HHH/Punk, and Steph/someone else, likely Cena because he can’t stay out of a big storyline.

        • Stephen Cash

          Punk vs. Cena vs. Axel?

          • Stephen Cash

            Punk vs. Cena vs. Lesnar!!!!

          • Jesse Sherwood

            There you go Stephen!

          • Smart Mark

Do you really feel that Triple H’s character would have someone fight for him?

          • Jesse Sherwood

I don’t think he would want to, but he would have to fight by the McMahon rules. And whenever there is a power struggle, the McMahons fight a proxy battle.

    • Mr.V

Nah just the businessman heel. If anything Heyman is writing for him. Imagine? I have to say this show has been very very solid. Love the direction. Only thing I question is the Ryback thing. Wtf was that

      • Jesse Sherwood

That was utterly awful booking. It almost seems like he is being humbled.

  • Cubed56

Was punk doing his best Chung Li impression getting the fans to cheer him? I’m guessing nobody knows what movie I’m referencing.

    • Ghuuihj

      Bloodsport

      • Cubed56

        Nicely done sir.

  • Scott

Very nice video for Sting!!! I wonder if they just might be trying to reach out to him a bit!

  • Danny_Biy

Punk has been back for barely a month and he’s already grown stale. Hurry back Brock and F5 that asswhip until oblivion

  • Xavier

I forgot Rihanna..I mean Alicia Fox was still on the roster

    • Jesse Sherwood

She has been doing so much charity work I forgot she wrestled, if that is what you want to call what she does in the ring.

    • Smart Mark

Ever since she lost the title i have no idea if she’s face or heel. One week she’ll be on SD as heel then NXT as face then Superstars as heel then Saturday morning slam as face again?

  • Navin T. Ramkissoon

What is the WWE’s obsession with these horrible photoshops?

  • Stephen Cash

Flair new raw GM!!!! I wish, I bet it’s Stephanie.

  • Jesse Sherwood

PLEASE! If there is a just being out there let Vickie lose her job next week! Scratch that, let her finally crack and quit!

    • Stephen Cash

Quitting would be awesome! Looks like she’s building to that…

  • Navin T. Ramkissoon

Looks like Vickie may be gone next week. WWE’s Job Evaluations Almost Always Never Go Well for the person being evaluated

    • Jesse Sherwood

If this were a different era, I’d say it would end with a particular club!

      • Stephen Cash

That would be even more awesome. Who was the last person inducted to the club? HBK?

        • Jesse Sherwood

Hornswoggle. But I don’t count him, so Mick Foley.

  • Jesse Sherwood

Calling the next set to be Rocky or Cena and Edge.

  • Cubed56

Is it possible for wwe to create another intense bitter rivalry that comes anywhere near HBK/HHH ever again? If so, with who, just a random question but something I just caught myself thinking about.

    • Smart Mark

Cena/Orton was pretty close. HBK/Y2J maybe? HHH/Orton was pretty intense?

  • Xavier

Not gonna deny the fact that the Bellas have a lot of mainstream potential

  • Jesse Sherwood

Wow, that shows just how bad the Bellas are in comparison to ANY of the other Divas.

  • Xavier

Has anyone noticed that the Shield has a lost a lot of steam since they lost to Daniel Bryan? They seem to have taking a backseat to pretty much everything else going on RAW. I think they may even fade further into the background with the Wyatt Family arriving on the scene

    • Jesse Sherwood

Honestly, it was bound to happen for this PPV as it is about individual glory, not the teams. I am betting that things will pick back up as we head to SummerSlam.

      • Smart Mark

Hey Jesse, did you notice that there’s been not even one announcement to hype up Summerslam, but it’s already looking like the best PPV of the year just from peoples assumptions of what might happen.

        • Jesse Sherwood

I had, and that is a testament to the fact that WWE has planned decently well with longer term plans than we fans may have thought they had. Sure, individual shows may be lackluster, but the overall net gain finally seems to be swinging positive.

          • Smart Mark

They’ve finally stopped booking themselves into corners and thought ahead.

    • Cubed56

I think they are gonna work against one another

      • Xavier

That would be a interesting feud

  • Navin T. Ramkissoon

Is it just me or is there no commentary for this match?

  • Scottyo614

I guess Del Rio vs. Cena was WWEs way of getting the whole crowd to like Cena…lets go Cena… Cena su.. ahh heck Del Rio sucks

  • Jesse Sherwood

You can’t wrestle chant for Del Rio! Boy, WWE couldn’t have made a worse match for both men.

  • Avalanchian

Pretty sure this match will have interference in it between Cena and Del Rio.

    • Jesse Sherwood

There is no chance that this goes clean. That would destroy ADR as a champion.

  • Navin T. Ramkissoon

Isn’t there commentary for this match? I am not hearing Cole, Lawler or JBL on my television, just the crowd

    • Jesse Sherwood

Yes, there is. I have it, but you aren’t missing much!

      • Navin T. Ramkissoon

Cool. Thanks Jesse thought it was just me. Lol

  • Mr.V

This match is a great look in the mirror to wwe for how epic this is not. … Hogan vs warrior champion vs champion was a clash of titans!!!

  • Jesse Sherwood

Del Rio bridged a German Suplex! He is trying a bit in this match!

  • Will

Wow 2 drop kicks by cena I am impressed

  • Stephen Cash

Why does your site not load a lot of the time?

    • Jesse Sherwood

Sorry, but I never have any trouble with it. Is it Disqus not loading or the actual page?

      • Stephen Cash

The whole site. It’s just when the site is busy…

        • Jesse Sherwood

We might be getting a lot of traffic tonight. I’ll talk to Richard and see what’s up.

          • Stephen Cash

            Thanks!!!

  • Stephen Cash

    Super Cena!!!!

  • Jason

Great match by Cena/Del Rio. Those two have produced some great matches in the past

    • Stephen Cash

That was one of the worst matches I’ve seen main event…

  • Jesse Sherwood

Wow, I inadvertently called both Henry and Ziggler in my 5 Points earlier! WWE really needs some outside of the box thinking, as that was too predictable.

  • Jesse Sherwood

Wait the Wyatt Family vignette is closing Raw?! That is impressive! Expect a HUGE push for them!

    • Stephen Cash

I’m worried about one of them being buried if they fued with the shield right off the bat.

      • Jesse Sherwood

I seriously doubt that they will feud with the Shield. I see them going straight after the top talents like Orton and Bryan.

        • Stephen Cash

But we just saw that with the shield… It’ll be interesting to see if they repeat story lines.

I think if they focus on just one top star to antagonize, then it will work well. Maybe I’m nuts, but if the Wyatt Family starts a feud with a single star such as Bryan and holds a feud with them for 4-6 months then it would be an excellent start to something old becoming new again, the longterm feud.

Can’t wait for next week’s Raw. The Wyatt Family will be here. Its gonna be awesome

  • Cubed56

Big things planned for the Wyatt’s if they are closing the show with their vignette.

    • Smart Mark

Definitely, they basically had a Cena victory open up for the video, and that’s saying something.

Harper and Wyatt are amazing in the ring. Rowan still has a bit to improve on, but he is no slouch neither. I am genuinely excited for next week

  • Avalanchian

So feed the Wyatt family some 3MB to start them off next week.

And thus ends the streak of decent shows. I was fighting sleep all night.

This was a tough show to watch. I can’t wait to hear Kendra’s thoughts on it tomorrow.

      • Smart Mark

This show felt so much like the Raw shows from about a month ago. Not sure if Dutch and Heyman actually have any input on the show but if they do then it is very simple to tell which week they help and which week they don’t.

I think there were more than a few rewrites tonight. Which is a shame, as the best shows of late have had very little of VKM’s direct influence.

          • Smart Mark

Yeah it’s basically gone back to recaps & rematches.

  • Pinkie Pie

I love that they ended RAW with a video for the Wyatt Family. People are hyped as heck for them to finally debut, and they know it.

I want this gimmick to succeed so bad. It has so much potential to be great.
