WWE Raw Gains Audience From Hour To Hour – Viewership For Go-Home To Extreme Rules

This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw did an average viewing audience of 4,046,000 viewers on the USA Network. Below is the breakdown hour by hour:

  • Hour one – 3,790,000 viewers
  • Hour two – 4,100,000 viewers
  • Hour three – 4,250,000 viewers

This data, from TV By the Numbers, shows a positive sign for WWE. The show’s audience actually grew throughout the night. This hasn’t been the trend since the switch to three-hours last summer, with the third hour usually drawing the lowest viewership.

This week’s audience was also up from last week’s dreadful numbers.

Oh No! I thought RAW would be in trouble without CM Punk!

I wish people would get it out of there heads that one guy being there or not is somehow going to mean everyone won’t still tune in, or switch off or whatever. I just don’t get it.

So ONE week with a positive outcome means that the show is doing better? Sounds like a flawed theory to me.

RAW has been doing decent numbers for a couple months now. Last week was the 1st time this year that they didn’t do a 3.0

Well that’s a good sign at least.

Honestly, with so many people connected to Twitter these days, I wouldn’t doubt Ziggler’s tweets helped with this outcome.
