WWE Raw House Show Results (11/09/11) – Nottingham, England

Wrestling News World reader RK Williams sent in the following report from last night’s WWE Raw house show from Nottingham Capital FM Arena in Nottingham, England:

Santino Marella d. Drew McIntyre
Drew McIntyre was very intense. Santino won with the Cobra in an incredibly short affair.

Alex Riley & Primo d. David Otunga & Michael McGillicutty
Riley scored with pin with the A-Bomb? (Fireman’s carry in to the facebuster)

Mason Ryan d. Curt Hawkins
Arn Anderson very secretively came out to watch and presumably scout the Welshman. Ryan won with a Full-nelson Slam

United States Championship: Dolph Ziggler d. John Morrison
Dolph cut a promo about why people should hate him, not because he’s good looking, not because of how good he is in the ring, not becuse he’s the longest reigning champion in WWE etc, but simply because he’s Dolph Ziggler and we’re not. Ziggler won with a Survive Kick (Sweet Chin Music (as teased earlier in the match))

The Bella Twins host a dance-off with the winner going backstage and meeting a WWE Superstar.

Divas Championship: Beth Phoenix d. Eve Torres
Beth hit the Glam Slam for the win. Kelly Kelly ended a post-match beatdown

Kofi Kingston, Zack Ryder & John Cena d. The Awesome Truth & Kevin Nash
Nash took T.I.P from Kofi then a plancha from Ryde, Rough Rider to Truth, AA to Miz for the pinfall.

WWE Championship: CM Punk d. Alberto Del Rio w/ Ricardo Rodriguez via DQ with Ricardo nailing Punk with a chair.
Punk pulled down Ricardo’s pants to reveal SuperMan trunks. Otunga, McGuillicutty and Ziggler out to beat-down CM Punk. Cena, Kofi, Ryder and Eve to end the beat-down. Ziggler ended up taking the AA, T.I.P, Rough Ryder, GTS and the Moonsault (from Eve)

I’d say the attendance was anywhere between 4000-6000 people although I could be wrong. This is the 6th consecutive WWE show I’ve attended in Nottingham and I must say it’s one of the few where ALL the Superstars and Divas genuinely looked like they were having a great time and that they were enjoying what they were doing. Evident by the amount of time that the stars stayed show-side of the curtain and by the amount of crowd-interaction which certainly in the last six shows was at an all-time high.

Reaction wise, Del Rio, Awesome Truth and Dolph Ziggler had the largest “heat” reaction, whilst CM Punk, John Cena, Kofi Kingston and Zack Ryder all had the largest “face” reactions all of which is expected at this point.

WWE returns to Nottingham’s Capital FM Arena April 15th.
