Last night's WWE Raw Supershow did a 2.97 cable rating off hours of 3.03 and 2.91 with an average viewing audience of 4,352,000 viewers on the USA Network.
The fan in me wishes the rating was higher because of Punk being champ.
Ratings are generally quite poor outside of Wrestlemania season. There's far too much importance put on them. I haven't watched Raw on tv in a long time and I hardly miss an episode and I'd say that's the same for a lot of people.
No, ratings have not gone down because of Cm Punk, it's because the WWE are not producing good storylines. Their storylines are garbage and it doesn't make sense. None of the stories are making sense at all. The whole Kevin Nash Triple H segments are completely disconnecting. 1st we were told that Triple H was going to be out for several months, now he's suppose to be returning at TLC? John Cena…there's nothing for him to do, he's pretty much coming out and just basically talking about how he gets cheered and booed…boring (who cares). Zack Ryder is becoming highly overrated and silly…and all of the mid-carders including the divas fail to capture an interest in the live audience or tv audience. So hopefully you see that it's not Cm Punk, it's what the overall product that ppl find boring. The only time I watch it is when Cm Punk is doing something and that's it. Cm Punk is the only reason I watch WWE period.
A.E i was about to disagree with your comment because i enjoyed raw this week but once i read it i totally agree there is no point to any of the story lines, cena has nothing to do can only see him help ryder win the us title at tlc to get people to like him again. nash should not be in a ring anymore he was once good but now he can hardly move so not looking forward to his match, and as you sadi the mid carders are doing nothing, looking forward to barret orton tho aslong as barret wins.
