TMZ has picked up on the 77-year-old gunshot victim, Thomas Dotterer, that was shot in the face when the Syracuse liquor store he was working at was robbed. Dotterer told the media he was more upset that his favorite wrestler CM Punk lost the WWE title at Royal Rumble than he was getting shot in the face.

TMZ notes Punk personally called Dotterer and WWE is offering free tickets to him the next time they run in Syracuse.

Free tickets? Lol. The bloke was shot and all he gets is $50-100 worth? ( I can only guess prices, I live in Australia )
Better than being shot again I guess.

They didn’t have to give him anything, so better than nothing.

Did it make mainstream news? If so, the publicity alone would be worth more than a ticket price but I understand your point :)

You know how hard it is to get free WWE tickets?!
