Finally, Ryback beating a “credible” opponent! Give him a mid card fued Justin Gabriel or Tyson Kidd to get that mid card sorted out! WWE bores me just now because of the lack of proper wrestling! Tag Teams and low level titles are the back bone of any wrestling organisation! I understand that the top titles need to be geared towards the entertainment side of things, but get wrestlers to wrestle!

I’m pretty sure Ryback squashed Heath Slater at least twice on TV already……

      • Anand

No. I dont think Ryback had matches with Slater or anyone else from the midcard. It could have been antonio cesario or damien sandow. with so many people having squash matches, it is so hard to keep track of who is squashing who :)

PS: am not sure of ryback has faced slater but am guessing he hasnt cos i dont remember seeing one

        • Alex

He has. Slater once and Bateman once

          • Anand

Thank you Alex. I wanst sure of that… Ryback needs decent midcard opponents instead of jobbers. hoefully WWE will realize this and give him an actual feud to begin with

Would love to. See Ryback fight someone good ,slater’s ok but let him fight Bryan or Cena, someone who actually has a chance of winning!

I seem to recall Brodus Clay beating Heath Slater on televised matches a couple of times.

How many times have we seen it on raw? The shambolic handicap matches, give him a midcard feud.
This is the kind of situation where titles need to be brought back instead of forgotten! The cruiser weight belt, the old wcw tv belt, a legends belt and bring a new 1 into the franchise. The wrestling business needs good strong wrestling and WWE is not producing the goods!
Even a good proper WRESTLING tournament would be good to see at some point from the number 1 “wrestling” franchise!
