How are my favorite group of guys? (Other than Stacy, of course.)

    • David Jr.

      I’m good, how about you?
So do I get credit for calling the New Age Outlaws heel turn last Friday?

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Did you? I’ve been rather out of sorts this past week with my health. You called it,then you absolutely get the props for it.

        • David Jr.

I said something like, I find it kind of funny that CM Punk would team with the New Age Outlaws since he doesn’t like the Authority and Triple H and Outlaws were in DX together. And you replied saying The Outlaws didn’t change, Triple H did.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I do remember that. And Trip has changed, in that he’s a boss now, not just the figurehead he was during the McMahon/Helmsley Era. Trip has been both heel and face, as has HBK, and NAOs. Honestly, I wasn’t surprised to see them return as faces as they have been gone for a bit, and the fans love returning people, especially after all DX did during the Monday Night War. It made perfect sense for the fans to love them, but it also makes perfect sense for them to turn heel, especially when they did. I think they’re a great addition to the Tag Division, and the perfect time for them to pick up a few matches.

          • David Jr.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again if I made a list of the best voices in WWE history. Road Dogg Jesse James is on my list.
By the way I enjoy rereading your articles on Each Royal Rumble Winners.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Thanks! Did you read them the first time around? I’m wondering if people remember them, or if they’re new to people. Richard agreed that it made sense to re-release them. I loved writing them, and should do a series about Taker’s Streak as well. I will when my body lets me focus better.

          • David Jr.

Yes I read them the first time you originally wrote them.

Taker’s one would be interesting because how much better his matches have been later in his career.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I think it’s a series begging to be written.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

It’s begging to be written, and to look at what happens to his opponents leading up to, and after facing him.

          • David Jr.

How come on the bottom where the list of Authors, you are 4th listed, shouldn’t you be 2nd?

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

            Bottom where?

          • David Jr.

On the bottom of the Wrestling News World page.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I’d say Brooks is above me on that list, and Alex and I are close together. I’ve been around longer, but Brooks does more reporting work than I do. I never really noticed the order, I’m just so happy to be here, and for the work I’ve done.

  • Xavier

    What’s good everyone?

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

That he’s no longer Cute Kip, and he’s looking so great in the ring, as if he forgot to age!

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

Just dropping by to say hey and hoping Smackdown is good.

Also I’m taking Jack Swagger in the Cesaro Wrestlemania Swing Stakes.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I will put you on the list.

      • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

Watch them swerve us all and him swing like 4 people 25 times each.

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Sorry, you can’t have Swags. Jesse took him already.

          • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

Jesse sees it as I see it then oh well. give me Zeb Colter then?

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

You’ve got him. You’re on the official list.

  • David Jr.

Where do the New Age Outlaws rank among all time greats. Top 10? Top 5? And why is the Miz on the announce table.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I’d give them top ten, but not top five.

      • David Jr.

        I’d agree.

  • Xavier

They need to bring back X-PAC & Chyna lol

    • David Jr.

      They aren’t PG together.

      • Xavier

        Lol far from it

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

And I’m not sure anyone would want to get into the ring with either of them – for a variety of reasons.

          • Xavier

They’d be okay as long as their was no blading lol

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

After the way Waltman busted a nut? No thanks!

          • Xavier

            LMAO

          • Alex Gallardo

I cringe just thinking about that.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

The thought of it makes me gag.

          • Xavier

So wait, you guys watched the flicks?

          • David Jr.

            Never.

  • The Breaker

Hey look, less than five minutes and here’s a match! Off to a much better start than last night’s Genesis! Wrestling still matters on SmackDown!

  • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Goldy is 44, Road Dogg is 44, Billy Gunn is 50, and Cody is 28.

One of these things is not like the other…

    • David Jr.

I saw an Interesting fact about Cody Rhodes, He’s 10th place for time spend in the Royal Rumble.

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Really? Now that is interesting! I wouldn’t have put him that high on the list. I guess I have some research to do!

        • David Jr.

The 5 Rumbles he was in his times are about 28 minutes, 42 minutes, 8 minutes, 37 minutes and 24 minutes.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Wow! That shows what they think of his stamina and long term ring work. That shows a lot about what the WWE thinks of that young man.

          • David Jr.

And maybe one day he’ll win it all.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I would love to see it happen. Makes more sense than certain other RR winners! I’m thinking specifically about VKM and ADR.

          • David Jr.

The VKM won Rumble is the worst Royal Rumble of all time not just because he won it but the people who were in it. Besides Austin, the only other guy in the match who the fans could have bought winning it was Kane and maybe Triple H.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Kane deserves an RR win. Trip did too, but I am still holding out hopes for Kane.

          • David Jr.

Kane should have won the 2001 Rumble.

      • Xavier

        Interesting, never realized that

  • Xavier

That match was a huge letdown

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Understatement. That was what I was most looking forward to tonight too.

  • The Breaker

Cheap finish, but it sure seems like they’re setting up the Rumble match to cause a split in The Brotherhood!

    • Xavier

Agreed. THis is the year that Cody vs Goldust should go down. I actually think Goldust should remain face for it while Cody goes heel

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I agree, especially if this is Goldy’s last run, he should go out a face.

        • Xavier

Plus I don’t know how they’d be able too successfully turn him. Cody on the other hand has motive to turn on Goldust

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Huge motive, and has been a solid heel more recently. Then again, they could go the other way because it’s not expected, but I hope they don’t.

      • The Breaker

Goldy has connected more with the fans and it might be tougher to turn the crowd against him, but I think switching Cody to heel would be a bad move.

        • Xavier

How would they build a feud between the two though successfully without one of them turning?

          • The Breaker

One of them has to. I just think back to how over Cody was during the ‘firing’ angle, and think he has more potential as a face. It would suck to disrupt that, because switching him back and forth too much could be detrimental to how people react to him.

          • Xavier

But Goldust is actually more over if you think about it. He’s built such a strong connection with the fans with his latest run.

          • The Breaker

He definitely has. I’m just trying to think about the future. Cody is really important to that future.

          • Xavier

True. It looks like the WWE has an interesting Dilemma on their hands if in fact Cody/Goldust is the direction they decide to go in

          • The Breaker

I think we’re finally going to get it. One possibility is that they put Cody in the heel role and after the match they amicably shake hands.

          • Xavier

I was thinking the same thing

  • David Jr.

Sorry JBL but that is and always will be The Brain.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

      I agree, completely.

      • David Jr.

Looking back at it, Bobby Heenan is one of the main reasons why I became a wrestling fan in the first place.

    • The Breaker

JBL loves hyperbole. Remember what he said about The Shield?

  • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

It blows my mind that Big Show has a hundred pound weight fluctuation that isn’t a biggie for him. Yes, he looks chunky at 500lbs, and almost svelte at 400lbs, that he has a hundred pounds of fluctuation is astounding.

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

Well so much for that. Tried to go to work. Instead I went sliding down a hill. Had to call in. :(

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Really? The roads are that bad?

      • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

they are freezing over and getting slushy. it would have only gotten worse at 6 am when I got off and had the 50 mile drive back home.

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Yikes! So it’s not snowing or raining, just what’s melted is freezing? Just wondering if anything icky is heading this way.

          • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

it’s had snow some down here in Ky during the day. but yeah the wet roads are freezing over.

  • Xavier

If Eve Marie ever seriously learned how too wrestle I think she could be an amazing heel.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

She also needs to learn how to talk. Learn how to not come off like a vacant bimbo. And learn that his name isn’t Ginger!

      • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

*pops for the Gilligan’s Island Reference*

        • Xavier

I was just watching that as a matter of fact. Glad that’s back on TV. R.I.P Professor

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

It’s back on? Where? I need to introduce Sam! Sad that the Professor died. Also, one of the leads from Partridge Family passed yesterday as well.

          • Xavier

            TV Land. Right now actually.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

            Good to know! Thanks!

          • David Jr.

I get on METV but don’t know if Maine gets that station.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I think we do. Sounds familiar. I’ll go looking.

          • David Jr.

I use to watch that show every morning before going to school.

    • The Breaker

She gets heat, but it’s the wrong kind. And if you think that maintaining a vapid and clueless expression translates to working as an effective heel, then yeah, she would be masterful at it.

      • Xavier

Heat is heat bro. People still react. Her heat is better then the ADR hear or should I say lack there of

        • The Breaker

Perhaps, but you don’t want your heels to be hated in the fashion that makes you want to change the channel.

          • Xavier

Lol. Well she’s a big part of Total Divas and that show is doing very well so I don’t think it hurts too bad. And like I said, if she ever learned how to wrestle fans would learn to respect her.I guess it really comes down to if the WWE wants to invest that kind of time in her

          • The Breaker

WWE doesn’t care about her wrestling skill, so I can’t see her taking the initiative to improve leaps and bounds.

          • Xavier

It kind of seems like that’s the WWE’s attitude in general with the Divas.

          • The Breaker

Yep, that’s why it’s kind of shocking that they let AJ become the longest-reigning Divas Champ.

  • The Breaker

Ugh! Eva Marie has no personality!

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

Eva knows knows how to get people to hate her. sadly the hate is please go away and never come back hate.

  • Xavier

I don’t have any major issues with Batista coming back seeing how he signed on full time and not just part-time but WWE would be making a huge mistake with having him win the Rumble

    • David Jr.

After the ending on Monday, I think it would be a mistake not to let Bryan win, but that’s just my opinion.

      • Xavier

Even without that ending it should already be a given that Bryan wins. He’s been the most over act in the company since last June

    • The Breaker

They would have to be absolutely clueless to book Batista to win the Rumble. And it would kill morale in the locker room.

      • Xavier

Yes it would. Especially with his comments about WWE being a B Level now.

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I never thought of Batista as a main event level wrestler, and barely better than passable most of the time. Hoping to get that article out on Sunday. I’m very anti-Batista, but always have been.

          • Xavier

How, he main evented for years. He was super over in late 04/early 05. He’s more then passable in the ring. Him & Taker tolore the roof down at Mania 23. He’s feud with Triple H was one of the best built feuds the WWE has ever pulled off. The blow burn to the contract signing was amazing. The pop he got at New Year’s Revolution was amazing

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

Rey vs Del Rio what 100?

  • josh

I’m not watching has anything decent happened

  • Brandon Ceielo

Hey guys. the internet connection I am using is very poor so I might not be able to chat again tonight. Kept trying last night but it wasn’t letting me post.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

That sucks! Keep trying, we love to have you with us.

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

When I see Rey Mysterio doing something like getting caught in the ropes like that I worry so much about his knees.

  • The Breaker

It sucks that they’re feeding Rey to this guy.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

As I said in RIB, I’m getting a very RVD feel from what’s happening to Rey.

      • David Jr.

I hoping after the Rumble Rey starts to feud with Real Americans.

        • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

I’d rather Cesaro turn on Zeb and Jack And feud with them after the Rumble.

          • David Jr.

I picked Rey Mysterio in the Antonio Cesaro Wrestlemania swing contest, that’s why I said it.

          • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

I have Zeb. but I want him as a Face soon.

          • Xavier

Cesaro being in a anti-immigrant group was dumb from the get go

          • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

True. Very True. and the Swing is really getting him over with the fans. Like with Daniel Bryan, WWE needs to take advantage of it and get behind him.

          • Xavier

Break Cesaro away and reestablish/build him as a top guy and maybe by late summer/early fall you can throw him feuds with guys like Bryan & Cena who he has very good chemistry with based off of what I’ve seen with him when in the ring with those guys. A feud with Punk would be really good as well

          • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

            YES!!!!!

      • Xavier

Rey’s my all-time fav. Easily the best pure worker in the world over the past decade and a half but his body is having a hard time holding up now and WWE is probably very hesitant too pull the trigger on any kind of push or program with him

      • The Breaker

It does seem like they’re just throwing him out there for ADR to get over, just as they did with RVD before his exit.

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

Alberto Del Rio is a good wrestler. it’s a shame he is so boring of a person.

  • The Breaker

Rey wins, but it’s ultimately a hollow victory.

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

    Naomi!!!

    • Xavier

In all seriousness though I think Naomi has a lot of potential as a wrestler. I really hope when all is said and done she’ll get a singles run in the divas division. She has a ton of babyface charisma as well

      • David Jr.

The Funkadactyls could become the female equivolent of the Rockers.

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Split-legged moonsault after being dropped on her face! What a lovely move from her.

  • Xavier

I’m still heartbrokin that Naomi cheated on me and ran off with Jimmy Uso ;.-(

    • The Breaker

Why isn’t this an angle on Total Divas?

      • Xavier

Lol I don’t know but I’ll fight him anytime, anywhere. Winner gets Naomi

        • David Jr.

If you need back up I’ll take out Jey for ya.

          • Xavier

            Thanks bro

        • The Breaker

Watch out for the fungus on his toe.

          • Xavier

            Lol I remember that episode

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Sam wanted to see more of the gross parts of that episode.

          • The Breaker

What did she think about Ryback’s pink eye?

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

She didn’t see that, but loved the pic of Truth’s knee busted open, and the operation pic of VKM’s new hip. She loves the grossest things.

          • David Jr.

Did she like John Cena’s surgery?

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Yes! She thought that was great!

          • The Breaker

I don’t know if you’ve shown her ECW yet but she’d probably love that. And she can see all she wants when the WWE Network launches!

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I will have to show her some of that when it launches. I’m so excited!

          • The Breaker

It’s going to be hard to choose what to watch first!

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Yeah, but I think I want to start with the earliest of one of the companies and follow it along from as early as possible. After I watch the first episode of RAW again. I love Brain.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I saw that and said aloud that one of the twins got married. Ashlyn asked if it was the twin with the real boobs, or the fake boobs.

I reminded her that the Usos are twins as well.

  • The Breaker

So I’m wondering why CM Punk is going after The Shield even though the New Age Outlaws are the ones that screwed him Monday.

    • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

      Punk vs the Authority angle

      • The Breaker

Yeah but the Outlaws are obviously working for Triple H as well… they haven’t fully made the connection yet but I assume they will.

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

    Emma sighting!

  • The Breaker

    EMMA!!

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

looks like we might see Naomi vs AJ at Rumble? think it might be time for Naomi to become champion?

    • Xavier

So happy the WWE did away with that Daniel Wyatt angle. And judging the fans reaction so were they

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

oooh! that was a pretty moonsault by Naomi.

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

What an Amazing Video Package for late great Mae Young. It made me laugh and cry. We miss Mae! RIP

    • Alex Gallardo

That was very nice of WWE to do. Mae will stay in everyone’s heart.

  • Brandon Ceielo

No words. Just tears. Mae Young RIP.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

      Yeah, I’m in tears.

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

For once. Cole is Right. Words can not describe what happened at the end of Raw.

    • Alex Gallardo

The crowd reaction is all you need to hear.

      • Xavier

        Surreal

        • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

Epic and Otherworldly response. The only way that pop ever gets surpassed this year is if Daniel Bryan was to win the world title at Wrestlemania.

      • The Breaker

        It gives me goosebumps.

  • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I ordered Lipstick & Dynamite today so I can learn more about Mae’s time in the industry, and so I can write a better article about Mae.

    • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

only person in Wrestling history to work a match in 9 different decades. that is something that will never be touched.

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

She was a pioneer into an industry that is something so different now. There will never be anyone like her again. Heck, she trained Moolah, to me that’s fantastic right there.

        • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

As was said in the video there will never be anyone as close to that of Moolah or Mae. They were unique and shattered the mold they came out of.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

They showed Bully putting Mae through the table. Even though Trip and Bully don’t get along, that was such a huge moment for Mae and Bully. Bully with Mae’s name on his wrist tape last night was huge and sweet to see. It wasn’t at all unexpected, but brought tears to my eyes.

          • Xavier

Agreed. They were there half a century before it was cool to be a diva

  • Brandon Ceielo

The Wyatts entrance is awesome. The Bryan Yes! chants were freakin’ epic! Quiet in the arena other than the Yes chant.

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

I love the references to his father I.R.S. Awesome!

  • David Jr.

Bray Wyatt wanted to demand people to do their taxes.

    • The Breaker

And who could say no if he came to your door?

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

That tattoo looks so much like blood on Bray’s arm it adds to his creepiness.

  • Xavier

What makes that whole angle even worse is that it did nothing for The Wyatts

    • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

I wouldn’t say that. I think it gives fans a reason to hate the Wyatts that they really didn’t have before hand.

      • Xavier

I don’t think it really accomplished that though

    • The Breaker

I think it’s too early to say. The angle isn’t over yet.

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

Why Doesn’t CM Punk just call out the entire WWE Roster and be done with it.

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

Sad to see The Intercontinental Champion had his entrance cut. :/

    • The Breaker

And instead they showed a video of the Bella Twins arguing over how to pronounce Fandango…

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

I really like Big E. I think he has a bright future in WWE.

    • Xavier

      Yessir. Him & Reigns

  • David Jr.

Who should join Warrior in the Hall of Fame this year? I’d say Paul Bearer, Jake Roberts, Demolition and Randy Savage.

    • Xavier

      Mr. T as well

      • David Jr.

If Bob Uecker, Drew Carey, William Perry, Pete Rose and Donald Trump are in the WWE Hall of Fame, than Mr. T so definitely deserves to be in.

    • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

Jim Johnston, Paul Bearer, DDP, Jake Roberts, Bob Barker, The Outsiders.

      • David Jr.

As Xavier said, if you’re going to induct a celebrity it should be Mr. T.

        • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

I would have said Mr. T. but I heard Mr. T. wants nothing to do with Wrestling ever again and has said no anytime asked.

          • Xavier

I can see that. Mr. T is super religious now. He didn’t even help promote the new A-Team movie that came out. He was the only one of the originals who didn’t make a cameo in the film as well.

    • Xavier

Lance Russell needs to be inducted as well. Best play by play guy ever!

  • Xavier

    This induction is long overdue.

    • David Jr.

Its amazing how him and Bruno Sammartino both said for so long they never accept an induction, then last Sammartino is put in and this year the Warrior.

      • Xavier

Triple H has proven so far that he can help restore burned bridges. Savage & Owen are next :-)

        • David Jr.

I think he’d have a harder time with Owen’s widow. I know Bret has said he thinks Owen deserves to be in it.

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

The Ultimate Warrior. first person to be IC and WWF Champion at same time.

  • Xavier

The Big Splash was such a devastating maneuver

  • Xavier

It’s funny seeing Miz & JBL side by side on commentary. I bet Miz is enjoying taking shots at JBL on commentary considering everything JBL put him thru when he first broke into the WWE

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

Do I look like a Trustworthy person??? No Ambrose you are not trustworthy.

  • Xavier

LMAO @ Work on your landing. Great line by Ambrose

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

My ultimate spot for Royal Rumble for avoiding Elimination would be someone chucked into the stands. caught and surfs on top of crowd and re-enters ring without ever touching the floor.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

The year I went was when JoMo landed on the barricade, pulled himself up, then jumped back to the ring. That was jaw dropping being there, and even better on TV when I saw it later. So I have to say that surfing would be a great way to do it.

  • Xavier

How great of an ending to the Rumble would it be if Bryan & Punk were the last two guys in it? The pop would be very similar to the pop we got with Hart/Lugar in 94, Cena/Batista in 05 or Michaels/Taker in 07.

    • David Jr.

Michaels/Taker 07 is my favorite ending of any Royal Rumble. It was like a small preview for Wrestlemania, 2 years later. My favorite part is The Kip Up/ Sit Up spot.

      • Xavier

I loved the 2007 Rumble. Only thing I disliked about that card was Lashley/Test. The 07 Rumble match is my all-time favorite Rumble match.

        • David Jr.

Lashley vs. Test, if anything said ECW, it sure the hell wasn’t those 2.

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

I almost think The Shield has to blow up at the Rumble to make all these seeds being planted make any sense.

    • Xavier

We will definitely get a Shield spot in the Rumble for sure.

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

it only took 4 years for Kofi to earn a win over Orton after Orton buried him so badly.

    • Xavier

Kofi has had more then enough time to earn a spot at the top of the card. It’s not like Orton purposely has been going out of his way holding him down for the past four years. Even if Kofi had gone over Orton in 09 he still would be exactly where he is now.

      • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

I believe had Orton not cut his momentum he would have won the Money in the Bank match Swagger won and the world title that came with it. That would have helped him.

        • Xavier

That’s possible, Swagger winning MITB was very underwhelming lol. But the thing you have to remember with Kofi is that a lot of guys have complained about how reckless he is backstage. He has a bad rep of being one of those guys that people don’t like to work with. Personally I like Kofi. He seems like a really good guy and humble but I really don’t think he’s a main event guy.

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

    LOL Run Away Zeb!

  • Xavier

I really hope the Usos get a tag team title run soon. They’ve earned it

    • David Jr.

It’s actually surprising, they haven’t yet.

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I think Cody and Goldy kind of stole it from them with their storyline, but I’m okay with that as I know the twins have a long time ahead of them, and they have grown so much this past year, so imagine what else they have in them!

        • David Jr.

Could they be one of those old time teams, that actually spend their entire careers together?

          • Xavier

Probably. The fact that they are twins may hurt their singles career

          • David Jr.

WWE has broken up teams for no reason at all before though.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

True, but the Bellas are so much easier to tell apart right now, whereas other than the tattoos, the Usos are really hard to tell apart. I could see splitting them up, but not long term.

          • David Jr.

Depending on what you are looking at, when it comes to the Bellas. Faces not that easy, but once you get to the chest.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Yeah, the implants are a giveaway, but also Brie wears lipstick that doesn’t match her skin tone, so I can usually tell by lipstick. Maybe that’s a girl thing.

          • David Jr.

I have no idea about the lipstick.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

So it is a girl thing. Brie’s lipstick color is usually too hard for her skin. Nikkie matches her sometimes, but usually her lipstick is a better color for her.

          • Xavier

One of them would have to cut their hair or something

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

            No! Not their hair!

          • Xavier

            Lol

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I’d love to see it, and as they’re twins, I could see it happening.

  • Xavier

I’m kind of digging Miz & JBL on commentary together

    • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

it’s different then the constant bickering by Cole and JBL.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

It’s a smart move, and a great role for Miz. He’s a great talker, funny, charismatic, cute, and knows the industry.

      • Xavier

And he’s getting in a bunch of digs at JBL as payback for everything JBL put him thru when he was a rookie lol

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

    Short 10 spin by Cesaro

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

Holy Crap.that Superkick came out of nowhere The Usos deliver some really nice ones.

  • Brandon Ceielo

Using the bad arm to reach for the ropes and not selling his belly or ribs or whatever it was taped up. Urgh. Usos never annoyed me before.
Edit: Ribs / belly for the one who did the top rope splash.

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

How many Finshers will Punk Eat tonight?

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Six! One from each of the five, then the triple power bomb!

      • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

I have the feeling someone not being in the 5 being called out will hit one on Punk as well.

      • Xavier

Triple H needs to bring the great equalizer out of retirement

  • Xavier

I got a question. What’s the point of having the Elimination Chamber match this year before Mania if Lesnar is already getting the title shot the same night? Is the Rumble winner going to have to compete in the Chamber or something and if so then what’s the point of the Rumble match anymore?

    • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

My guess is they’ll put Lesnar in the chamber for the title with Punk, Bryan, Cena, Orton, Batista/Sheamus.

      • Xavier

        That makes sense.

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

I admit it. I miss Sheamus and am looking forward to seeing his return.

    • Xavier

Sheamus is a very underrated worker.

    • The Breaker

Hopefully he returns as a heel.

  • David Jr.

Maybe the reason Punk is calling out 5 guys because he wants a hamburger?

  • Xavier

Punk & Warrior is a tweeter war I’d love too see lol

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

Amazing Punk knew exactly where the Shield was going to enter the arena from. LOL

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

Here comes the Director of Operations

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

    When Kane Talks you listen.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Depending on what your politics are.

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

7 foot tall sell out suck up. Well you’ll be eating those words.

  • Xavier

When Kane chockslams you, you feel it

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

So it only took one finisher!

      • Xavier

        Lol I guess so

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

Turns out Punk only ate 1 finisher.

  • The Breaker

Will Corporate Kane be in the Rumble match?

    • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

I hope so. So he can break HBK’s Elimination record.

      • The Breaker

While wearing a suit and tie!

        • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

Now that would be awesome. he needs 1 to tie and 2 to break it.

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

Smackdown was fun tonight. Love doing these chats. :D
