Welcome to the SD Open Thread! Who’s ready to see what Bry is up to tonight? Will he continue on his path with The Wyatt Family?

    • David Jr.

I’m ready. Wasn’t Smackdown taped before Raw?

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Yes, actually, you’re right, so much for Bryan going further tonight! It was Big E saying something during this taping that broke Brock appearing on RAW this week.

        • David Jr.

The only thing you’ll probably see is a Raw Rewind and they won’t be on.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

This time of the year is so confusing! At least we will back to normal soon, and on the Road to WM!

          • David Jr.

The best thing about being a wrestling fan. As most people have the end of the holidays and spring months away, they have nothing to look forward too. But we get the Road to Wrestlemania.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

And there’s so many questions this year!

            Which superstars will return?
            Will Taker be back?
Will Bryan be screwed over again?
            Will Brock injure someone?
Will Cody and Goldy be working together, or feuding?
Will Goldy get him big WM moment?
Will Trip decide he has to be in a major match?
Will they be able to book WM within 4 hours this year, or will they have to cut out a match because they royally screw up the timing again?

          • David Jr.

Goldust deserves it. It’s amazing what he’s done since coming back. On a side note, take away the OJ Simpson footage, I enjoyed Piper vs. Goldust at Wrestlemania 12.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I will have to go back and re-watch it. It’s been a while, and my brain is garbled.

I forgot to add, will WWE book a WM worth watching?

            Last year wasn’t very good.

          • David Jr.

I think Piper vs. Goldust is a little underrated. It was hardcore wrestling before hardcore wrestling became cool.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Or at least became cool in the WWE?

          • David Jr.

            Yeah.

  • CJ Blaze

    Hey guys!

  • Xavier

    Hey how’s everybody doing

    • CJ Blaze

      Doing good, you?

      • Xavier

Good bro, just relaxing and watching some Smackdown

  • Guest

    How’s everyone doing

    • David Jr.

      Doing well.

  • David Jr.

Anyone think Shield at Wrestlemania this year will do the same that Legacy did at Wrestlemania 26?

    • Xavier

I hope not. Legacy’s break up was an epic fail IMHO

      • David Jr.

I hope they don’t do it like Legacy because that was bad. But if done right, Rollins vs. Reigns vs. Ambrose would be good.

    • CJ Blaze

I thought about it, and I think it would be great.

      • CJ Blaze

The match anyways, maybe not the way Legacy’s break up went down..

        • David Jr.

Yeah I wouldn’t want it build like Legacy just have a triple threat match like Legacy did.

  • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Ambrose calling out Cole to B.A.Star!

    • Xavier

He’s trying too hard with all the Heath Legler/Joker stuff

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

He is carrying announce right now, for some reason Cole and JBL are being very quiet.

        • Xavier

          I noticed that too.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Wonder what they were hearing in their ear pieces from VKM.

          • Xavier

I couldn’t work under those types of conditions lol

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Neither could I. I’ve threatened people talking in the same room during Raw, I couldn’t handle being told what to do in such an abrasive way, in my ear, as I did it.

          • Xavier

            LMAO

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

My kids know that if they want to talk, there’s commercials, or leave the room. Even Sam waits for commercials to ask questions.

  • David Jr.

If you have the United States Championship and never defend it does it count as the longest current reign?
Also did Dean Ambrose just sing?

    • Xavier

Lol was thinking the same thing

  • David Jr.

I wonder what Vickie’s going to do? Could she possibly be out to do something revolutionary like making a 6 man tag match?

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

      Do you think? Maybe?

      • David Jr.

I predicted it right. I’m going to make another bold prediction, The sun will set in the west.

    • Xavier

That would be epic! The GM coming out to make a tag match has never been done before

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Do you think she has the power to do such a thing?

        • Xavier

Interesting question, guess we shall see after the break :-)

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I thought only Teddy Long had such powers.

          • CJ Blaze

Or they will say we should’ve tuned into the app to see -_-

  • Xavier

HOLY CRAP! Vickie with that mind blowing announcement

  • David Jr.

    Is tonight guest commentary night?

  • Xavier

I can watch Naomi all night, just saying

    • David Jr.

Just watch? Wouldn’t you rather spend all night with her?

      • Xavier

        Of course lol

  • CJ Blaze

    Grandpa: What’s up?!
Grandma: what do you mean what’s up?
    Grandpa: R-Truth is out.
    Grandma: What?
    Gotta love the old people…

  • Guest

    DAMNIT! No Naomi. Booooooooooooooooo!

  • Xavier

What are the chances that Luke Harper ends up having a better career then Bray Wyatt?

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I think it depends on his personality, his mic skills, how his body holds up, how he works through character changes, and how the fans react to him long term. Lots of variables, but he might have what it takes.

      • Xavier

He’s solid in the ring that’s for sure

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

He has a great look, size, and his ring work is the best of the three of them so far.

    • David Jr.

      I’d say low.

    • CJ Blaze

I’m wondering if Rowan will get anywhere after the Family splits. I mean he has what it takes, but I’m not sure if he can thrive as a singles star.

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Of the two, Harper is obviously much more prepared. I like Rowan, but I’m not sure he will last on his own. We could be shocked, but with him, I doubt it.

  • Xavier

Curits Axel is just terrible, no getting around it

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

And it shows just how much stronger Big E is.

    • David Jr.

I watch him and I still have a hard time believing that he’s the son of Curt Hennig.

      • Xavier

        Same here

        • David Jr.

If you told someone who watched wrestling back in the days when Mr. Perfect was on but not now. And told him that his son wrestled and ask them to watch an episode and pick out his son, I think more people would pick Dolph Ziggler.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Ziggy would make more sense than Axel. I hadn’t thought about it, but you’re right on the mark there.

          • Xavier

            Lol agreed

  • David Jr.

Next Monday on Raw is Old School. So anyone think Bray Wyatt will have to do his taxes?

    • Xavier

Lol. I forget that IRS is his father. They look nothing alike

      • CJ Blaze

Isn’t Bo Dallas their brother and son?

        • Xavier

          Not sure exactly

        • David Jr.

Yes Bo Dallas and Bray Wyatt are brothers and their dad is Irwin R. Schyster.

          • CJ Blaze

            Ok, that’s what I thought.

          • Xavier

None of them look anything alike lol

          • CJ Blaze

I have seen it between the brothers when they smile lol

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Yes, Bo is Bray’s brother, IRS’ son.

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Poor Sam is so confused by it. I showed her pictures of IRS and she doesn’t get it. She’s very excited to see RAW this week, and not happy that she won’t be able to see it as it airs (just too late for her to stay up and watch it all). She’s met Rikishi and so excited to see him on RAW, and wants to see Bray’s father to see what might happen, and to see Dusty with his sons.

  • Xavier

I really hope this Bryan/Wyatt angle isn’t Bryan really going heel because I think turning Bryan heel would be a huge mistake on WWE’s part r

    • CJ Blaze

I agree. I like the intrigue in the angle, but I feel this interrupted Bryan’s road to WM.

      • Xavier

Agreed. Bryan should be chasing the title at Mania and should win the rumble. WWE creative can’t justify anyone else winning the rumble this year if it’s anyone else not named Daniel Bryan

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I understand Bry working against the top dogs, but he’s so over with the fans, there comes a time he has to come out on top, and that’s not going to happen with this storyline. Shooting themselves in the foot again.

          • David Jr.

Ask WNW today, RG said WWE wants Bryan to face HBK but if HBK won’t work, then it most likely be Bray Wyatt vs. Daniel Bryan.. That just doesn’t make any sense to me.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I agree, it doesn’t make any sense. As good as Bray is on mic, this seems like filler, and filler that doesn’t make sense.

And say HBK agrees, and Bry is 1/2 heel, but so is HBK. The whole thing is a mess with Bry joining TWF on Monday.

          • David Jr.

While HBK vs. Daniel Bryan is a dream match. I hope it never happens. Because I respect that HBK retired. Let guys like Austin and HBK be happy with there final matches, they given so much to the WWE. We don’t need to see them come back.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I (mostly) agree. I had been very vocal about Flair not retiring, but HBK coming back for one match, especially against Bry, doesn’t bother me the way I thought it would.

          • David Jr.

While Flair at the end was a shell of himself, HBK was still wrestling the best matches of the night. But I love to see the best walk out on top. And to me Undertaker vs. HBK was the perfect ending to his career.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I will have to say I agreed with it when it happened, but I have this itch to see Bry and HBK face off in the ring.

          • David Jr.

If HBK vs. Bryan ever did happen, you know it would be great. Because while Hogan’s about the money and Flair needs the attention, HBK is about stealing the show, so if he couldn’t be the best, he wouldn’t do it.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Exactly, and he’s still young enough to really do it justice, and with someone like Bry, it will be show stopping.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I absolutely agree. As I said, like when they tried to turn Austin too early. It just didn’t work, and the fans are not ready for Bry to turn.

      • Xavier

Yeah, I can write a book about why Austin’s heel turn was doomed from the get go. In a way the WWE still hasn’t recovered fully from that. I think in a way that’s why Vince is so gun shy about turning Cena

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

That, merch sales, and the work Cena does with kids. It all makes sense as to why Cena doesn’t turn, but they could make him more interesting without killing who Cena is!

          • Xavier

Exactly, I do think Bryan’s emergence opens up the door for a Cena turn but they won’t pull the trigger on Bryan for whatever reason. Bryan is really the 1st guy WWE has had since Cena became the guy who could potentially replace him as that guy who does all the stuff Cena does inside and outside the ring

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

While I agree with that, and the fans are behind Bry like they’re behind no one else, but Bry had a fan base before coming into the E. I think they’re dropping the ball with Cena and Bry in many ways, but I’m actually enjoying watching the birth of what could be the next big generation of top superstars in Big E and Reigns. They’re both at that sweet moment when they’re more than the new guys, and really showing that if all the stars align, they will be the top guys in years to come.

          • Xavier

I can agree with that. Do you agree that Cena needs to turn heel within the next 18 months to truly help Big E & Reigns reach that next level?

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

No, I don’t, but he does have to change, become more edgy and tougher. Going full heel could be bad for the young kids, but he could do many things just shy of turning heel.

I also don’t think Cena’s side of things help or hurt Reigns or Big E. If they are going to make it big, they’re going to make it no matter what Cena does.

      • David Jr.

Austin’s heel turn did bring the What? chant though, which still is used to this day.

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Yes, but it really killed a lot of momentum for Austin, and the WWE as a whole. He beat up JR and still the fans didn’t buy him as heel. I think Bry will get the same reaction.

          • Xavier

And look at Austin’s placement at WM18. He was in a throw away feud with Scott Hall that fans could of cared less about.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

            That feud was terrible!

          • Xavier

            Lol yeah it was.

          • David Jr.

I always thought Austin should have fought Flair at Wrestlemania 18. Rock and Hogan claimed to be fighting for the biggest Icon, but Austin and Flair could have argued they were bigger.

          • Xavier

            It should of been Hogan/Austin

          • David Jr.

Wasn’t that what they wanted, but neither Hogan nor Austin wanted to put the other guy over?

          • Xavier

Yeah something like that. I think those guys had beef going all the way back to WCW

          • David Jr.

I think I remember hearing in either an Austin dvd, Bischoff DVD or Monday Night Wars DVD that Austin thought he should feud with Hogan when they were both in WCW because they were both balding blondes, but Hogan said Austin wasn’t in his league. Which I believe created his ECW Hogan Promo.

          • Xavier

I remember hearing that as well

          • David Jr.

I never understood how you turn the anti-hero, heel, which he was technically a heel who got cheers. Though I think also, when Austin got hurt he was the guy. But during his absence, guys like Rock, Triple H, Kurt Angle and Chris Jericho stepped up, but WWE has a hard time parting away from the guy, so Austin was pushed back in the main event, when he came back.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Orty was the anti-hero who couldn’t be turned for a long time, but they did it. Then again, I think the fans just got bored with him doing nothing interesting.

It was a time of huge talent, but they don’t have that glut of top stars right now, and it about kills me that the WWE isn’t taking advantage of Bry being so over right now.

          • Xavier

It was that a bunch of things. When WWE decided to turn Austin heel the Rock was off to Hollywood for a few months, Foley was gone, and WWE was unable too bring any of the major names over from WCW so there really wasn’t a face capable of filling the void left by Austin. Not to take anything away from guys like Angle, Jericho, Benoit & RVD but they weren’t big enough names to fill that void the way guys like Flair, Savage, Lugar, Sting were able to do when Hogan turned

          • David Jr.

You had your two biggest faces, Austin and Rock, one turned Heel and the Other was off, so they didn’t have a main face, and didn’t really until John Cena came around.

          • Xavier

Agreed. 2002 thru 2004 were the dark ages for the WWE and really a stalling period for them until they were able to find that next guy. They tried with Lesnar but Lesnar was always a much better heel then face so i’m not sure Lesnar would of stuck longterm if Vince was intending on pushing him as a babyface

        • Xavier

That’s not necessarily a good thing lol

          • David Jr.

            I agree.

  • CJ Blaze

Oooo, something to spark my interest… a title match! Honestly, this could be the only thing I remember from tonight’s show..

  • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

They’re defending the gold? But this was taped before Raw, and Rowan and Harper didn’t have the gold…

    • David Jr.

Why not save the title match for the Royal Rumble?

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

So many better ways to do this. We trash TNA for taped title matches, but this is the E, and they really should know better!

  • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Why is Aksana still around? Not even why did she get that win, or this match, but still around?

    • CJ Blaze

I read a few months ago on a site that freely reports news stating that officials see something special in her, so they are keeping her around.

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

What? Can’t be her ring work, or her mic work!

        • CJ Blaze

Ha! Maybe they just like her looks lol

          • David Jr.

            What looks?

          • CJ Blaze

            Exactly

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

She’s cute, and has great curves, but she’s just not a Diva.

    • David Jr.

Maybe they’re trying to get the Lithuanian crowd?

    • Xavier

Triple H doesn’t fire people anymore lol

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

True. But even before that edict came down, I wondered.

  • CJ Blaze

    Here’s some news on JoJo:

Regarding JoJo’s current status with WWE, she is still signed to a deal and still training at the Performance Center in Orlando. Word is that she has been downplayed in favor of Eva Marie because WWE officials feel Eva is really shining as a star.
    Read more at http://www.wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/2014/0103/568887/backstage-news-on-jojo-wwe-status/#UtZFvwcKWIO7lERL.99

    • David Jr.

First we’re talking how WWE sees something in Aksana, now Eva Marie is a shining star. What happened Trish and Lita?

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

They really are clueless about what the fans want to see. Evil Marie gets X-Pac heat.

      • CJ Blaze

        No kidding.

  • Xavier

I actually like the idea of Lesnar going into Mania with the title. Give me Bryan/Lesnar for the strap at Mania followed by Cena/Taker and I’d be a happy man

    • Gary Robert

If they’re going to have Bryan in the future at some point win the title, and if its going to be over Brock…they can’t have it happen a mere month after Lesnar wins the belt. He needs to hold it to make the eventual underdog win actually have meaning. And if they do do it, they have to have Lesnar go over him. They can’t keep pushing Brock as a “beast” but have him lose 1/2 his matches (he’s currently at 3-3). It’s pointless and stupid storytelling. He has to have a long reign as champion to make the rub for whoever beats him that much greater.

      • Xavier

Well if Brock’s schedule is anything like it has been the past year and a half then it will be impossible to keep the strap on him that long. I see your point though about protecting Brock. But if I had to choose my biggest priority between Brock or Bryan going forward I’d have to choose Bryan over Lesnar because he’ll be there long term and he’s the guy who’s put in the work over the past 3 years while Brock is only competing in 3 or 4 matches a year and making about 9 or 10 appearances a year. Bryan deserves much better then a match against Bray Wyatt at Mania, no disrespect to Bray but he hasn’t been with the company long enough or been built strong enough to be on Bryan’s level at this point considering Bryan has gone over Cena, Orton, Sheamus, Kane, Cesaro, The Shield (1st to beat them) all clean. Bryan deserves to win the Rumble and deserves to be in the title match at Mania against a high profile opponent.

        • Gary Robert

I agree but you’ll also be wasting the Bryan/Lesnar match as the payoff won’t be as big, it will hurt Lesnar yet again with another loss and it will be yet another very short title reign by someone. If anything, and if it were up to me, I’d forego the “Wrestlemania moment” for Bryan this year b/c the timing is just too shitty with the way they’ve slapped together story lines and have him go over Brock a few months down the line after Brock has defended it 3-4 times. That way when Bryan finally faces off against him, its a true David vs. Goliath moment. If Lesnar had the belt now then I could see that moment reaching its pinnacle at WM, but its just too rushed and I’d rather have story lines that aren’t rushed for the sake of a moment. Same can be said for the current story line he’s in, whether we like it or not, they can’t peg him into it and then have it conclude next month. This has to come to a slow boil so that way when he turns on the Wyatt’s, which we all know is inevitable, then the payoff will be much greater. He’ll be over even more so than he has been and THEN he can go after Brock as the ultimate under dog. Just my opinion.

  • David Jr.
  • Xavier

*Sigh* again with Bad News Barrett

  • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I’ve had my fill of Batista. I’m done.

    • David Jr.

It does seem to me, that they think Batista’s going to fill the void the Rock has had the last 3 years in the Road to WM, but Batista’s no Rock.

      • Xavier

        Agreed. Is Batista back fulltime?

        • CJ Blaze

Some say through Mania, others say for the next 2 years

          • Xavier

            Oh okay.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I think the fans will be excited for the first couple weeks, then they will be back to treating him the way they did before he left, as part of the scenery. Don’t get me wrong, Batista has had his good moments, but he’s also had a lot of blah too.

          • CJ Blaze

I’m honestly not looking forward to his return. I started watching WWE when he left, and from past stuff I’ve seen, he doesn’t look all that spectacular. I’m also sick of part-timers getting main event spots/title runs when people who deserve it way more are stuck waiting for their moment.

          • Xavier

            I agree. I’m against part timers coming back. I don’t wanna see Hogan/Cena. Austin/Punk or Michaels/Bryan.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I do want to see the last two, but not the first. But I don’t want to see them all at once. I want them to happen, but not at the detriment to other wrestlers who deserve the spots, so it’s hard to book.

          • Xavier

Austin is just in bad of shape as Hogan. His neck is shot too pieces and he hasn’t wrestled in 11 years. Michaels is the only one who can still go. Hogan/Cena & Austin/Punk would be complete disasters in the ring

          • David Jr.

Also the draw of Austin vs. Punk would have been during the SES era Punk.

          • Xavier

Agreed. I loved that version of Punk. That would of made a ton of sense. This version of Punk vs Austin wouldn’t be as effective

          • Gary Robert

I’d hate to see Hogan in the ring but still love the nostalgia idea behind it. As for the other two, why not?

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Stacy and I have talked about Batista a lot. He thinks the whiny twit we saw just before he left felt the most real he’s seen from Batista. I have to agree after knowing what happened between him and Booker backstage. To me Batista is a glorified Ryback.

        • David Jr.

I never understood why Batista won the Royal Rumble in 2005 and main evented Wrestlemania 21. Even back then, to me it was obvious, John Cena was going to be the bigger name.

          • Xavier

Batista winning the rumble in 05 made plenty of sense actually when you look at the storyline with Evolution

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

It made sense, but Batista never lived up to the hype.

          • David Jr.

I think Batista vs. Triple H could still have been done without Batista winning the Rumble though.

        • Xavier

He’s 10x better then Ryback but I agree about Batista’s behavior. He got Ariel fired, slept with Morrison’s girlfriend Melina and harrassed Mickie James backstage. I was already a Booker T fan before 2006 but I became a even bigger fan when he humbled Batista backstage. Batista said some really out of line things about his wife who had cancer as well.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

He is greater than Ryback, but he has similar ego issues, and has caused similar issues backstage. Then again, no one has beaten Ryback down the way Booker beat down Batista for making nasty comments about Sharmell.

          • Xavier

I think Batista was much worse backstage. Ryback has a bad attitude but atleast Ryback wasn’t getting people fired or causing rifts in other peoples’ relationships

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

True, though I think if left to his own devices, Ryback would have been beaten down by Punk. Only because Axel stepped in did Ryback walk out unscathed.

Then again, no one stepped in to stop Booker, so maybe that shows how little people thought of Batista at that point.

          • Xavier

Yeah from what I heard about that scuffle pretty much everyone sided with Booker. He got a title run a couple months later as well. Usually when a guy confronts a top guy they get put in the dog house but the complete opposite happened with Booker

          • Xavier

What did Batista say about Sharmell?

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I honestly don’t completely remember. They were backstage taping commercials for a big PPV (possibly in the WWE Studios) and Batista made a comment about Sharmell in WCW, possibly about her being passed around, or something of that sort. Booker kicked his ass, and Batista didn’t really have much fight in him. Whoever was there let Booker get the best of Batista. From what I’ve heard, Batista really couldn’t handle himself in a real fight. That’s why I laughed at Batista in MMA.

          • David Jr.

It’s the like the Chris Jericho and Goldberg backstage fight.

          • Xavier

It’s funny hearing about real life backstage fights backstage. Often times the smaller guy gets the better of the bigger guys. Booker T/Batista, Jericho/Goldberg, Yoshu Tatsu/Sheamus, Brian Pillman/Sid are prefect examples of that

          • CJ Blaze

            What’s the story on Tatsu/Sheamus?

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Wasn’t it over a water bottle? Basically Sheamus not respecting the property of other people/roommates, but a water bottle set it off.

          • CJ Blaze

I see. I hadn’t heard about that one.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

It was very early in Sheamus’ run with the WWE. He was getting pushed and thought he was BMOC, and Yoshi brought him down hard.

          • Xavier

Lol yeah, I think him, Yoshu & Ted Jr were roommates and Ted had to step in to save Sheamus from further injury

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I thought there was someone else involved that had to save Sheamus, but I wasn’t sure who or how.

          • Xavier

Could have, I just remember Ted being there as well

          • Xavier

I don’t remember hearing about comments made about Sharmell but that sounds like something Batista would say though. Batista’s lone match in MMA was terrible. He barely beat a couch bum who filled in for his originally opponent on 2 weeks notice I believe

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I laughed at their matchup picture. It was too funny.

          • Xavier
          • Gary Robert

I could have beaten this guy, lol

  • David Jr.

JBL’s say the tag team’s the best since he’s been there. Ironically he may have been part of the greatest Tag Team Division, With Hardys, Edge & Christian, Dudley Boyz, APA, New Age Outlaws.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

That really was a great time!

      • David Jr.

Though late 80s, early 90s were good too, when you had teams like Hart Foundation, Demolition, British Bulldogs, Brain Busters, and the Rockers.

    • Xavier

Today’s tag division has been just as good.

      • Gary Robert

Its been better, but not even close. That was the pinnacle of WWE’s tag team division.

  • EvilMenace666

Batista’s back ohh shit gotta start taping and watching again….until he leaves again then off with the tape recordings…everybody else in WWE is just plain boring with stupidass kid gimmicks Batistas the real DEAL baby met him a couple times back when he was training with my man Nick Diaz in Lodi…man he was a fuckin Beast not that other Wannabe MMA Fighter Brock whatever his name was…can’t even throw a decent punch in the UFC,call yourself a champion!!!!

    • Gary Robert

lol Brock would destroy him in MMA

  • Gary Robert

Batista is the weakest looking strong guy I think I’ve ever watched in the ring. He always seems to struggle with power moves which confused me because he looks like a tank. Just watch when he goes for his boring lame-ass Power Bomb finisher. It just looks like it takes everything out of him. Not to mention for a guy that big, he should have a more powerful and original finisher. Always found the carbon copy PowerBomb as unoriginal.
