    hey yo!

  • Andrew

i hope im not the only one here.

    • David Jr.

      Hello There.

      • Andrew

        whats up!

  • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I made it! I just got home from a fun filled day over the fryolators at a small amusement park! I love my father, but this is the 26th year that he’s owned this company, and I don’t miss working there full time for him!

    • Andrew

      hey how are you doing!

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

After driving two hours each way, and working for Dad – better than I expected! How are you?

        • Andrew

oh good! im doing pretty well!

    • David Jr.

      What’s a fryolator?

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Cooking french fries, chicken sandwiches, chicken nuggets, etc.

  • David Jr.

I always enjoy when Sheamus and Barrett has a match.

    • Andrew

as do i they have very good chemistry

    • Seth

It’s a mean guy match of two guys who like a physical style and don’t mind taking physicality beating the crap out of eachother. They mesh, they work well together, and its fun to watch plus you don’t have to sit there and explain to someone why would you do that because you’d believe what they’d do would hurt another person and help them win a match.

  • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Bugger!I just realized the Total Divas season finale is during Payback. The ratings are going to SUCK!

David Jr., you up for working the Live Blog?

    • David Jr.

Like I did for Extreme Rules? If yes, than Ok.

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Exactly like Extreme Rules. That’s usually how it goes – except RR and WM are insanely busy!

        • David Jr.

          Then sure.

  • Seth

Nothing like running a little late. Oh well. Better late than never right?

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

      I was late too.

      • Seth

Didn’t read anything. Only know Sheamus and BNB are probably going to beat the crap out of each other for our entertainment. Looks like I’m treated to seeing Cesaro now. I approve.

      • David Jr.

I was late for me too, but they opened a new Disney Store buy my house, had to see if they had any Frozen stuff.

  • David Jr.

I heard Corey Graves makes his WWE debut at Payback as CG Punk.

  • Seth

    UPPERCUT DEATH!

  • Andrew

its really a shame that there are more than enough superstars who should be pushed but dont.

    • Seth

There is truth in the statement…you can’t push everybody because you can’t. The ones you push though…well hope you’re right on them if you’re the guy making the decision.

      • Andrew

i know you cant push everybody but still like dolph ziggler and damien sandow they deserve alot better.

        • Seth

I think a good portion of that is them ending the brand split and pretty much closing the window for new main eventers, newer upper midcarders the like. Hurts fresh matches big time, too.

          • Andrew

and also they should have kept both world titles split

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

          And Tyson Kidd.

          • Seth

A good portion of the divas as well.

          • David Jr.

Want to watch good Divas action, watch NXT.

          • Andrew

yes! that match between natayla and charlotte was excellant!

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

That match was amazing! Then the love in that ring! Flair in tears, Nattie and Ashley hugging, and then Flair thanking Nattie after the match. And, all the love with Uncle Bret.

The other thing I loved about that match, and it will sound petty, but both of those women worked their asses off, and they were sweaty messes with stringy hair after it was over. They looked like they left it all out there. There wasn’t an pretty posing, they worked!

          • Andrew

absolutely! charlotte was way better than i thought she was and nattie of course was great as usual.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I honestly wasn’t expecting much from Ashley, as the last time I saw anything, I wasn’t impressed, but she worked it HARD!

          • Seth

It was a great steakhouse wrestling match. Not a ton of sizzle but that doesn’t reflect the build. It was two wrestlers trying to out wrestle one another in a game of human chess(thanks for the term Sir William Regal!)

          • David Jr.

Since WWE has Main Event and Superstars on the WWE Network, they should make one an All Diva show. Give a chance to let the women show their skills. I don’t know how well an All Diva wrestling show would do on broadcast television, but I’m sure people who get the WWE Network would watch it.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I know they could easily run an hour show, but I wonder if they can with the contract they have with E! right now.

          • Seth

It’s amazing what happens when you treat your product and your wrestlers serious and hype up a match to be serious…and give them the time, isn’t it? It ISN’T THAT HARD TO DO!

          • Andrew

            absolutely forgot about him

          • Seth

I THINK…they are going to turn him heel. It’s at least a direction.

          • Andrew

thats what it looks like maybe that will work we will see

  • David Jr.

Which “Heel” gets a bigger face pop then the face at Payback, Bray Wyatt or Bad News Barrett?

    • Andrew

ooo i would say bray but its very close

    • Seth

      Bray Wyatt.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

      I’m also going with Bray.

  • David Jr.

Unless I missed something, Payback will be the first one on one match at a ppv/se for Alicia Fox since the 2010 SummerSlam.

    • Seth

I’m not too thrilled with the way they’re going about hyping it up but its better than a completely cold match I reckon…they could do to give Paige some actual promo time to establish her character though…

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

They let her on mic on NXT, and earlier before this match. It’s about time!

        • Seth

Give her the live mic on a RAW for a couple minutes.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

They really need to because she’s adorable and charismatic in her own quirky way.

          • Seth

Heck, I’d even advocate having Regal do commentary for her matches just to put her over nonstopped on commentary. It’s much harder to get over…especially when there’s less focus on matches than there should be in certain instances. Gotta give the performers as much help as you can to give’m that chance.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I’d advocate Regal on WWE TV for almost any reason!

          • Seth

I’d advocate Regal on TV with a live mic every show. He makes every show better no matter what he does.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

And he’s a real man! Sorry, watching his early work in the WWF makes me laugh so hard I’m in tears.

          • Seth

            God bless that entrance music.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Well, he was Stephen Regal, so I guess we were supposed to forget that he’s the same person.

          • David Jr.

            A Real Man’s Man.

          • David Jr.

William Regal is becoming my 2nd favorite announcer of all time, only behind the Brain.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

            He’s fantastic!

  • Seth

Poor Xaiver Woods. You poor poor *insert term here that you think applicable*. Its a what could have been for him that’s for sure.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I loved him as Consequences Creed in TNA.

      • Seth

I never saw him as a main eventer…but he could theoreticly be using his ability to open PPVs to excite the crowd with what he can do.

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Many wrestlers are not main eventers, the thing is to be versatile, work hard, and do your best, and you can have a great career. There’s a lot of guys in the HOF who were not main event wrestlers.

          • Seth

Woods to me is that kind of guy that is a perfect opening match…gets the crowd fired up…excited and warmed up without burning them out. It’d be a great role for him.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Kind of like Kofi. I know Woods is with Truth, but I’d love to see him tag with Kofi!

          • Seth

Considering Truth’s age and he’s on the decline theoreticly I think they’d mesh and who knows…that can breathe a little life into Kofi, add a different element to the tag team division and you’re off and running.

  • Seth

Poor poor 3MB. I think they have it worse than anyone at this point.

  • David Jr.

So does El Torito look like a mini Brutus Beefcake under the mask?

  • Seth

    FELLLA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Seth

Since we did mention the negatives of how some stars are treated…well how about the rejuvenation of Bad News Barrett after some major struggles? It’s great to see that.

    • David Jr.

I think that shows if you want to change your career around don’t do it on your own Web show (Zack Ryder) do it on the JBL and Cole show.

      • Seth

Well if you thought going Woo woo woo would save your career long term…well I’m afraid I’ve got some bad news!

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Thank you! I thought I was in the minority when it comes to Ryder!

          • Seth

Honestly the best thing he can hope for is remember that Curt Hawkins and him were a tag team at one point and maybe you can restart them as a unit and maybe get some TV time like that. I like me more regular tag teams.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I think that would make sense. Even further, bring Edge in for a skit or two to bring them back together.

          • David Jr.

I think some people just complain about Ryder not getting a push because it’s another way to blame John Cena.

  • David Jr.

I’m surprise they didn’t change the beginning of Bad News Barrett from God Save the Queen to I’m afraid I’ve got some Bad News.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

That does make a lot of sense.

  • Seth

Heyman on commentary makes me miss him on commentary the brief time he was a color commentator alongside JR during that brief period of time.

    • David Jr.

I enjoyed Heyman with Ross more than Lawler. But maybe Wrestlemania X7 is part of the reason, which is one of the best if not best WWE pay-per-view.

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

        It really is up there.

  • Andrew

ok who do you think had the best character and worst character of all time?

    • David Jr.

      Best: Undertaker
Worst: Gobbeldy Gooker or Bastion Booger
      Underrated: Heel Doink

      • Andrew

i agree with best and worst no question and i would put shock master in the worst as well

        • David Jr.

Just remembered the Red Rooster, that may be the answer, if ever a character ruined a guys career. While Bastion Booger or Shockmaster are bad, I don’t think Mike Shaw and Fred Ottman were ever thought as future world champions, Terry Taylor was.

          • Andrew

            very very true.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

            That was one huge clusterfluffle!

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I completely agree with all names named, except I don’t remember heel Doink. Working my way through WWE history through all PPVs, so I’m sure I’ll see him before long.

      • David Jr.

I might be in the minority on Doink, but I thought he was a great heel character. I hated him as a face, but I loved him as a heel.

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I trust you, so I’ll check it out.

  • Seth

I love how Paul Heyman begs for his life whenever he’s about to get his comeuppance.

  • Seth

I hate the ‘kicking too much ass’ finish they go to.

  • Seth

    …Holy time-warp batman.

  • Paul Jameson

Which are you tired of more: “My client Brock Lesnar ended the Undertaker’s undefeated streak at Wrestlemania” or anything Lana says about Vlad Putin?

    • Seth

Can I answer with C: Anything that involves turning the matches into unimportant or jokes?

      • Paul Jameson

Oh I’m more than sure there are other answers all the way up to Z for Ziggler….as in…WHY CAN WE NOT HAZ MORE ZIGGLER?!

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I was so pissed when Naomi and Cam with Truth didn’t end in an actual match because it was all a ploy to get Summer out there to kiss Dingle in front of Layla! I was writing the live results while cussing at the screen.

  • David Jr.

Hunting Wabbit? He looks like Yosemite Sam, not Elmer Fudd.

  • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

    Angle is in Sharknado 2!!!

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I had to stop and go back, but I knew I recognized those blue eyes!

      • David Jr.

According to a four letter website (not sure if I’m allowed to say it here) he’s playing a FDNY Fire Chief.

        • Paul Jameson

          BDMI?

          • David Jr.

            Yes, if you are dyslexic.

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

As long as you’re not throwing links to spam and newz sites, we’re golden.

          • David Jr.

            I’m talking about IMDB.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I know, I figured it out. Just saying, as long as you’re not throwing links to newz sites, or links to watch PPVs illegally, we’re good. IMDB is not an issue.

  • Paul Jameson

    And swagger concussion coming in…..3…….2…….1……

  • Seth

Cole trying to chant along with Rose’s stuff completely kills whatever cool factor Rose has…

  • Paul Jameson

Adam rose turns every match into a lumberrosebud match

  • Paul Jameson

    10 second rule Adam!!!! HURRY!!!

    • Paul Jameson

Aaaaand another sucker dies an early death…..

  • Paul Jameson

    Payback is a B……..ray

  • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

A 15 minute Last Man Standing match? Less when everything gets going, and then to wrap up the show. Not cool.

    • Paul Jameson

give it 4 minutes tops before there’s interference

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

But it’s No DQ, so that doesn’t matter.

        • Paul Jameson

true, but that typically speeds to the finish.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I didn’t read the spoiler – try to always avoid them – so I don’t know if Cena will be there too, but to push his match, he really needs to be. Also rounds out the number.

          • Seth

If he isn’t…that’d be twice he failed to help the Usos after the Usos helped him. What a terrible friend.

          • Paul Jameson

Ryback already made this known, among the other reason why Ryback does not rule…Cena never helped him.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

But Cena thumps his chest with them, so he is a true friend.

          • Paul Jameson

i missed the spoiler as well and as the last possible thought before payback, I agree Cena needs involvement in some fasion, but these days time devotion on smackdown hasn’t been good.

    • Seth

I also hate using gimmicks like that on TV…completely cold.

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Unless it’s hyped and the time is dedicated – as it used to be, back in the day – it’s daft!

  • David Jr.

What is everyone’s favorite Last Man Standing match? Unless I’m missing one I’d go with Triple H vs. Chris Jericho at Fully Loaded 2000.

    • Paul Jameson

that one was good, but I can’t put anything over HHH v Shawn Michaels No Mercy 2007. But I’m HBK biased

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I think I have to agree with you on that, and while I love HBK, that’s not the only reason why I love this one.

        • David Jr.

While Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels from Royal Rumble 2004 was good. I prefer when a match has a winner.

          • Paul Jameson

Yes, no winners do stink at times, but my reasoning for that Last Man is it still had emotion brought over from the non sanctioned fight that started that whole journey from 2002 summerslam.

          • David Jr.

We are allowed to have different favorites, if everyone liked the exact same thing life would be boring.

          • Paul Jameson

true, I just didn’t want to leave it strictly as HBK bias lol

          • David Jr.

It’s Funny that we both picked a Triple H match though.

          • Paul Jameson

            he’s whats….”best for business?”

          • David Jr.

I have to give some props to the Last Man Standing match of John Cena and Batista. Just for this line: Stoop that low?! Duct tape?! ARE YOU SERIOUS? REALLY? DUCT TAPE?!

          • Paul Jameson

Which would then lead to most ingenius use of duck tape (sadly not in a LMS match), Del Rio RR 2013. Poor Big SHow…..

          • David Jr.

Don’t know if it’s true or not, but I heard somewhere that Big Show and Triple H have wrestled in the most LMS matches.

          • Paul Jameson

according to the list each one has been in 7 LMS matches.

          • David Jr.

So does that make them the most? Or has someone been in 8?

          • Paul Jameson

actually they are tied for the most while Cena has only been in 6, before Sunday. So there will be a three way tie. I’m shocked Taker has only been in 3.

          • David Jr.

Wow, Shane McMahon has been in 2, so that’s only one more than Shane McMahon.

          • Paul Jameson

I’ll do ya one better, Mick Foley only has 2 as well. Mind=blown (and technically one of those was in TNA….so…..count that as you will..)

          • David Jr.

And if I’m not mistaken, he was in the first one in WWE history against the Rock.

          • Paul Jameson

It was the first as titled Last Man Standing instead of Texas Deathmatch as named in the 50s. But one more fun little Finkle-esque tidbit of info, The Rattlesnake has never been in a LMS match.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Thanks for all the wonderful info!

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

But Boo-tista is such a boob! I have so little respect for that man.

          • Paul Jameson

            C’mon….not Captain Skinnyjeans!

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

As someone who makes clothes and wanted to make ring gear (I might be getting sucked in by an indie wrestler), the video of him before RR when his trunks weren’t done and he broke his boots – waiting until the last minute to zip them up – I was over him before, but that sealed it for me!

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

            You’re such a teacher.

          • David Jr.

I am, now I’m teaching toddlers.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Yes, and you’re so obviously a teacher. It comes through. That’s a good thing.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

            That whole storyline was great!

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I knew which one was meant. I can see bits of it in my head right now.

      • Seth

In terms of one that I think is a bit underrated… Umaga vs Cena. That was really strong.

        • Paul Jameson

Umaga, man. What was ahead of that man, sad. But indeed sir, that one had strong stuff.

      • David Jr.

No Mercy 2007 was Triple H vs. Randy Orton in a last man standing match (it was suppose to be John Cena vs. Randy Orton but Cena got hurt). HBK vs. HHH, Last Man Standing was the 2004 Royal Rumble.

        • Paul Jameson

Indeed sir, I misquoted from my list. Good catch.

  • Paul Jameson

Ok…so will someone please tell me…is it CENA who has the whole world in his hands or Bray? I am still back and forth on this one.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

      Yes.

I think that’s why it works so well.

      • Paul Jameson

While it works, I am still wishing they will let him use another one soon. My money is on either She’ll be coming round the mountain involving Stephanie or Baa Baa Black Sheep with Daniel Bryan.

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Interesting ideas. He could come up with some fantastic songs that are in the public domain and carry with the theme for years – off and on – without it getting old or boring.

          • David Jr.

Or the WWE could hire me to write him Nursery Rhymes.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

You know I’d be all for that!

          • David Jr.

working on payback nursery rhymes right now, have 3 matches done.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

            I’m excited! Check for typos!

  • Seth

Okay. The count with Wyatt hanging upside down like that was creepy and awesome.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

      That was bloody amazing!

    • Paul Jameson

with an image like that, a cena appearance wasn’t necessary at all. Creepy indeed.

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Agreed, I was starting to get pissy about Cena until that. That was sweet! I loved how the fans were chanting for the Usos, and cheering Bray. What an odd match! Then again Bray is an odd man!
