Welcome to this week’s Smackdown!

  • Andrew

    hey guys

    • CJ Blaze

      Howdy Andrew!

      • Andrew

        whats up!

        • CJ Blaze

Just chilling, finally get to watch SmackDown “live” for the first time in a month or so lol.

          • Andrew

            nice lol

          • David Jr.

CJ, you were let out of the closet?

          • CJ Blaze

            Suuuure

          • David Jr.

Gesus told me yesterday your mom put you in the closet with a glass of water.

          • CJ Blaze

Oh brother. I was stuck in another town actually.

          • David Jr.

Oh I was really looking forward to hearing your 133 minute song about being Trapped in the Closet.

          • CJ Blaze

Haha sorry, that won’t be happening anytime soon.

  • CJ Blaze

Watching The Breakfast Club. Love that movie.

    • David Jr.

Aren’t you to young for that movie?

      • CJ Blaze

        ….No….

  • Andrew

so i got a question who is lesnar’s next opponent after cena? big show maybe? hmm

    • CJ Blaze

He has crossed my mind. But many people probably wouldn’t want to see it. After NOC, Lesnar should skip HIAC and defend at Survivor Series. Possible challengers: Orton, Show, Reigns, Ambrose, Rollins, Sheamus, Cesaro… and none of them are “worthy” right now. WWE put themselves in a pickle.

      • Andrew

agreed i mean who right now you could say has enough momentum that can be a challenge to lesnar ? ambrose and reigns do but not sure reigns is ready and ambrose is in a great feud right now

        • CJ Blaze

Exactly. All we can do is hope that WWE doesn’t ruin Reigns or even Ambrose by throwing them into a WWE Title match this early. So the safe bet would be to do Big Show, a face or even heel Orton, or maybe even Batista?

          • Andrew

my guess would be a face batista or maybe face orton

          • CJ Blaze

Batista just popped into my head and I can seriously see them doing it. I couldn’t care less about Orton right now and so I thought maybe heel Orton would be interesting, but doubt they would go that direction. It’s just a waiting and speculating game at this point.

          • Andrew

me too and honestly at this point i do think they should turn orton face maybe after a month or two break remember when he turned face in 2010? he was getting really good reactions and i think he can get those again i honestly like him as a face

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

got to admit I miss being able to watch Smackdown with everyone. Price of Working i guess.

  • David Jr.

Did anyone see the video of 2 year old who can name 20 WWE themes in 2 minutes? I got to get to work and train some of my kids to beat that.

  • CJ Blaze

This comment marks my 3,000th comment here on WNW! Woooo!

  • Andrew

    here we go

  • Andrew

whose your guys fav wwe announcer if you have one?

    • David Jr.

      current or all-time?

      • Andrew

        both if you like

        • David Jr.

I like William Regal when he’s on NXT, my favorite of all time is Bobby Heenan.

          • David Jr.

I never enjoy an announce team more than Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan.

    • Andrew

jr is my fav all time and current is jbl when hes not overbearing lol

    • CJ Blaze

Jim Ross is my all-time favorite, but currently I’m liking Renee Young and Alex Riley. Will admit, I miss hearing CM Punk on commentary.

      • Andrew

nice i like those two as well

  • David Jr.

Tom Phillips an improvement or drop-off from Michael Cole?

  • David Jr.

Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose the best mid card feud since?

    • CJ Blaze

since Rollins vs. Ambrose in FCW

  • David Jr.

Anyone think Jack Swagger vs. Brock Lesnar would be a good match?

  • Austin

I don’t know why, but I see a lot of Edge in Seth Rollins

  • David Jr.

Top 50 OMG moments in WCW history DVD and what’s on the cover? Shane McMahon and Vince McMahon

  • David Jr.

A Jack Swagger vs. Bo Dallas feud? Anyone interested in it?

    • CJ Blaze

It could be decent. Gonna give it some time.

    • Andrew

maybe im just hoping they arent giving up on swagger as a face he has been doing very well

      • David Jr.

I agree, he seems more natural as a face.

        • Andrew

absolutely im not saying he should be in the main event i just want him to be in a good feud and get a decent push

  • BlazeKing

What is the consistency of Corporate Kane? First he’s attacking faces then he’s screwing over heels…

    • CJ Blaze

I know! I hate that he just took off his mask and now he magically has powers to do whatever.

    • David Jr.

The on going battle between Triple H and Vince McMahon, story lines making no sense.

  • CJ Blaze

    Poor Sin Jobber

    • David Jr.

Did you watch last night’s NXT yet?

      • CJ Blaze

Just did before SD, thought he did great! Cara and Kalisto should head up to the main roster soon. Great talent there.

        • David Jr.

Do you like the finals of Cara/Kalisto vs. Vaudevillians? Cause NXT Expert wanted Team Sawft in the finals.

          • CJ Blaze

I wanted all three there so I’m happy.

  • BlazeKing

Heard that fan say “What did you think was gonna happen” at RVD? LOL!!!

  • David Jr.

Is this a right off angle for RVD?

    • CJ Blaze

If it is, some fans are gonna flip because they did it on a show they don’t watch haha.

      • David Jr.

        It’s for the dedicated fans.

        • CJ Blaze

That’s us! I’m wondering if this is the start of The Legend Killer. Maybe leading up to a big match with Lesnar?

          • David Jr.

            Survivor Series? Royal Rumble?

          • CJ Blaze

Probably Survivor Series, which will be his hometown.. not sure though.

  • BlazeKing

That looked so much like a Diamond Cutter!

  • CJ Blaze

For whatever reason, I’m starting to like Orton more tonight. I used to the love him and then have hated him since his last suspension. He’s been super stale and I think possibly bringing back The Legend Killer could reignite something in Orton.

    • David Jr.

The only problem with the Legend Killer is there are fewer legends in the WWE right now compared to 2004-05 in his first run as the Legend Killer.

      • CJ Blaze

True. But maybe he doesn’t exactly have to beat them. There’s Hogan, Sting, Lesnar, Flair, maybe even Batista. Could be repeating some of the past and could be risky, but could happen.

  • CJ Blaze

    Natalya in action again!

  • David Jr.

I said this on Raw, and I’ll say it again, Natalya is way to tanned.

  • CJ Blaze

2014 has been a very interesting year for the WWE Divas.

    • David Jr.

It has to be the most ppv matches they’ve had in one year, and we still have 4 to go.

      • CJ Blaze

And they’ve had consistent storylines this summer!

  • CJ Blaze

Nattie has two wins over the champ. We should see a three-way at Night of Champions.

    • David Jr.

Natalya vs. Paige vs. AJ Lee would be a good match.

      • CJ Blaze

Could be incredible! They all have had great matches with each other.

  • CJ Blaze

    STARDUST

  • David Jr.

Is something that happened 3 days ago, really breaking news?

    • CJ Blaze

      Well of course! Haha

  • David Jr.

The Goldust and Cody Rhodes/Stardust tag team has been around for almost 11 months now, did anybody think they last this long as a team?

    • CJ Blaze

      Nope!

      • David Jr.

And they’ve produced some great matches.

        • CJ Blaze

          Lots!

    • Andrew

      not me

  • CJ Blaze

So anyone have predictions for the Tag Team Title match at Night of Champions? Plenty of teams right now, so they could do a Turmoil match like last year on the pre-show to determine a # 1 Contender. Or have a Turmoil match with the titles defended.

    • David Jr.

Triple Threat with Usos vs. Goldstar vs. Wyatt Family.

  • CJ Blaze

Today I wore my new Seth Rollins shirt for the first time. Feels special to fall in love with a wrestler in NXT and then see them with their own shirt and in the main event scene two years later.

  • CJ Blaze

So if I’m putting together an early card for Night of Champions, here’s what I have so far….
    - Pre-Show: Jack Swagger vs. Bo Dallas
    - Mark Henry vs. Rusev
    - Chris Jericho vs. Bray Wyatt – Stipulation Match….. (Brie vs. Nikki if this doesn’t happen.)
    - Divas Title: Paige vs. AJ Lee vs. Natalya
    - US Title: Sheamus vs. Cesaro
    - IC Title Dolph Ziggler vs. The Miz (stipulation?)
    - Tag Titles: The Usos vs. GoldStar vs. Wyatt Family
    - Main Event: WWE WHC Lesnar vs. Cena

    • David Jr.

What about Reigns, Orton or Rollins?

      • CJ Blaze

Dang. Scrap the first two matches, not the pre-show.

      • Andrew

yeah who would rollins be facing

        • CJ Blaze

Ambrose probably. Heck, I don’t know.

          • Andrew

well if its not ambrose then i have no clue

          • CJ Blaze

Maybe an open challenge on the pre-show haha. Doubt he would go without a match, maybe a segment or something.

          • Andrew

            yeah i figured that haha

      • CJ Blaze

There’s too much stuff going on haha.

        • David Jr.

You could throw Orton vs. Reigns on your card, 8 matches plus 1 for the pre-show isn’t bad, don’t know about Rollins though.

          • CJ Blaze

Rollins attacks Kane soon and then becomes the host of the PPV? CJ 101

          • David Jr.

What are the odds Rollins cashes in on Lesnar?

          • CJ Blaze

1 in a billion? But I would cry for joy if Rollins won.

          • David Jr.

Does Rollins pass Edge’s length of holding the briefcase?

          • CJ Blaze

Not sure, as of now, I would say no. But I’m hoping he becomes the first to cash in at WrestleMania.

    • Avalanchian

That sounds awesome with the triple threat of Paige/AJ/Natalya. I could see Natalya winning because both Paige and AJ are so into each other that she sneaks a win.

  • CJ Blaze

Reigns/Orton certainly isn’t over. Guess you can add that to the NOC prediction card.

  • CJ Blaze

Night everyone! Off to watch Night of Champions 2011 and then the first episode of Monday Night War!

    • David Jr.

Good Night CJ, watching the Monday Night Wars thing right now.
