Written by Richard Trionfo (PWInsider.com) on Mar 16, 2007 - 11:54:51 PM

Smackdown moves one show closer to Wrestlemania as we continue on the road to Detroit . What new developments will we see between the Undertaker and Batista? How will Chris Benoit respond to the announcement that he is going to face Montel Vontavious Porter at Wrestlemania? Will we see Benoit on this week’s show. Now that Ashley’s issue of Playboy has been released will she accompany Brian Kendrick and Paul London to ringside for their match, if they are on the show? Will Melina confront the cover girl as they get ready for their match? Are Joey Mercury and Johnny Nitro still an intact tag team or have they broken up four times since you read this sentence? How many Battle of the Billionaire vignettes will we see tonight?

We are live on tape from Trenton , New Jersey and your announcers are Michael ‘What exit’ Cole and John ‘See you in the ring’ Layfield.

The show starts off with Batista coming to the ring. Already in the ring is Mike Mizanin for MizTV. Mizanin asks if he can call Batista ‘Big Dave’ and he allows it. Mizanin says that the Undertaker being 14-0 is unstoppable. Mizanin says that he does not think Batista can stop the Undertaker. Mizanin says that if he wanted, the Undertaker could come out and kick Batista’s ass. The lights go out and when they go back on, Batista looks at the Fist-o-Tron while Mizanin gets a chuckle over the fact that he made Batista think Taker is coming out. Batista tells Mizanin that he got him. Batista says that MizTV is pretty funny and he wants to shake Mizanin’s hand. Batista says that while he likes MizTV, he does not know if he likes Mizanin. He says that he is way badder than Harley Race. He also says that he is living the American Dream. Since he has not heard anything, maybe Chris Benoit does not want any of MVP.
