Edge then says that he would be ashamed to be a United States citizen too. He says that he had to go to places like New Zealand, Zimbabwe, Abu Dhabi, and France to get respect. There is another place he did not get any respect and that is Monday Night Raw. Edge says that he beat everyone on that show. He defeated John Cena for his first ever WWE Championship. He says that he is willing to give the Smackdown fans the benefit of the doubt because he thinks they are more civilized. He thinks that they will judge someone based on their talent and not make this a popularity contest. He vows to be a champion the fans will be proud of. He will be a champion who will take on all comers. Teddy Long interrupts Edge and wants to know if Edge meant it when he said he would take on all comers. Teddy says that he is going to hold Edge to that statement because on Sunday he will be defending the World Title against Batista. Edge says that he is not afraid of Batista. He did in three seconds what Batista could not do in three months and that is defeat the Undertaker. Edge points out that he has done something that nobody else has done and that is defeat John Cena and the Undertaker for their world titles. Edge says that you can bring Batista on in any match at any time. Batista’s music plays and he comes to the ring. Batista welcomes Edge to Smackdown and he says that since Edge is new, he will tell him the same thing he told the Undertaker. He tells Edge that the title belongs to him and he will be needing it back on Sunday. They shake hands and have a stare down as we go to credits.
