WWE Smackdown! Opener:
We open up with WWE welcoming us to the wedding between Theodore R. Long and Kristal Marshall. We go to our host of the season premiere of Smackdown, Maria, and she is backstage with the Ying Yang Twins. She also has Vince McMahon with her, and he shakes the hands of the Ying Yang Twins. Maria asks where his son is, and Vince says he is not here tonight. Coach said he is Ying Yang's biggest fans, and that they are the kings of country. Country? The Ying-Yang's said they like Hornswoggle more than they like Coach. One of them keeps making this really annoying noise. Fucking idiot. We are live in Atlanta, Georgia, as the fireworks go off in the arena and Michael Cole and JBL welcome us to the show.
In the arena:
The music of Batista hits in the arena as he makes his way to the ring in a suit as the new World Heavyweight Champion after winning the triple threat match this past Sunday at Unforgiven, pinning the Great Khali. Batista gets on the mic and he said he is all dressed up, new shoes, new suit, in Hotlanta, and he is once again the World Heavyweight Champion. Batista said at Unforgiven, he was fortunate enough to overcome the former, the former, World Heavyweight Champion the Great Khali, and his good friend and a man he respects very much, Rey Mysterio. Batista said Rey is his brother, and he loves him, and Rey will be World Champion again someday. Batista said that the Great Khali will exorcise his rematch clause, so as it stands, it will be the Great Khali vs. Batista at No Mercy, in what he calls, the Punjabi Prison Match. With that, the music of Mark Henry hit in the arena as he made his way down to the ring. Henry gets on the mic and says he could care less about this celebration of his. He could care less about his Punjabi Prison match that he's going to have at No Mercy, but what he does care about is next week, when the Undertaker returns to Smackdown, in a match against him, the World's Strongest Man. Henry said he is going to end the Undertaker's illustrious career, and he needs a little warm up for next week. Henry said not to worry, he won't even take a shot at his precious title, because all the people know, and deep in Batista's heart, he knows, that Henry can take that belt whenever he wants. Batista took off his shades, and said that Henry is as stupid as he is ugly. Batista said that Henry got his ass handed to him at Unforgiven, and he has the nerve to call him out. Batista said Henry has had a beat down coming for a long ass time, and if he wants it, he's on. Batista and Henry stared each other down.
Backstage:
Maria is dancing backstage with the Ying Yang Twins. Maria brings in Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy. One of them wants to hold the belt, and Hardy lets him. Hardy starts dancing like a tool.

Jimmy Wang Yang vs. Jamie Noble
Jimmy Yang Wang makes his way down to the ring and he is set for action with Jamie Noble.
The start:
Noble and Yang lock up and Noble hits a knee to the gut. Noble sends Yang to the ropes, but Yang came back with a huricanrana. Yang hit a spin kick to the back of the head and then nipped up. Yang chopped Noble in the corner and then hit some mounted punches. Noble tossed him off and then made Yang eat boot. Noble jumped off the middle rope onto Yang's arm, and then went to work.
Mid-match notes:
Noble locked in an arm bar as the fans got behind Yang. Yang fought out but then Noble took him down with a heel kick to the jaw for a two count. Noble hit an elbow drop to the arm and then an elbow to the head before locking in another arm lock into a takedown for two. Noble went back to the arm bar but Yang fought out with an arm drag. Yang hit an atomic drop, and then a spin kick to the head for two.
The Finish:
Noble locked in a Fujiwara arm bar as Yang screamed in pain but made the ropes. Noble hit a kick straight to the face and was distracted by what he thought was Hornswoggle behind the barricade, but it was Shannon Moore in the leprechaun hat. Yang took advantage with a dive to the outside, and then sent Noble back inside. Yang then followed up with a moonsault for the win.
Winner - Jimmy Wang Yang
The Aftermath:
Shannon Moore laughed at Noble from the crowd and Noble is pissed.
Backstage:
MVP is backstage with a football, and then Matt Hardy comes in and asks if he is actually going to throw it or what. MVP said he is getting in the zone. They are trying to throw the football through a tyre. MVP got his on a rebound. Matt Hardy threw two through, and the third was going through but MVP caught it. Hardy said he has beat MVP in everything. MVP said he is the United States Champion, and Hardy said that is because he won't give him a rematch. MVP said Matt is losing focus, and they have a tag team match up next.
Non Title Match
Referee: Jim Korderas
Deuce and Domino vs. Matt Hardy and Montel Vontavious Porter (c)
The music of MVP hit in the arena as he made his way down to the ring as the United States Champion, and one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions. Matt Hardy then made his way down as the other half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, and they will be facing the former champions, Deuce and Domino, with Cherry, here tonight in a Non Title Match.
The start:
Deuce attacks MVP from behind as MVP and Matt were arguing about who was starting. MVP came back taking Deuce down and covering for a one count. Hardy tagged in and they went for a double back elbow, but MVP then hit an early clothesline on Deuce. Hardy nailed a swinging neckbreaker for a one count and then tagged in MVP. They acted like they were going to do a double team move, but then Matt hit a suplex instead. MVP nailed a drop toe hold and then Domino got involved and MVP decked him. Deuce then took MVP down from behind for a two count as we go to commercial.
Mid-match notes:
Back on Smackdown and Deuce and Domino are still in control with a chinlock on MVP. Domino nailed a leg drop and then covered for two. Deuce tagged in and Domino held MVP while Deuce decked him. Deuce nailed MVP again and then tagged Domino back in. Domino got MVP up for a suplex and Domino dived off the top with a cross body while MVP was in mid air and then covered, but Matt broke the fall. MVP came back with a knee to the jaw. MVP went for the tag but Deuce is dragging him back. MVP hit an enziguri and Domino tagged in, and so did Hardy. Hardy nailed a series of punches, and then a clothesline. Matt hit a back elbow and then a boot in the corner. Matt hit an elbow to the back of the neck from the middle rope, and then hit a back drop on Deuce.
The Finish:
Hardy hit the bulldog / clothesline combo on Deuce and Domino and covered Domino but he kicked out. MVP is calling for a tag but Hardy hit the Side Effect and then set up for the Twist of Fate. MVP is trying for a tag, and distracted Matt. Deuce then knocked MVP off the apron, and Hardy hit a neckbreaker on Domino. MVP got in the ring and got into a shoving match with Hardy, allowing Domino to get a rollup on Matt for the win.
Winners - Deuce and Domino
The Aftermath:
Matt and MVP continued to argue with MVP telling Hardy he should have tagged him. MVP left the ring and grabbed all the belts and left.
Backstage:
Teddy Long is backstage getting ready, and then Reverend Bruce Bruce came in. He congratulates Teddy, and Butch Reed said he is very proud of Long. Reed wants to know how Teddy got a girl as fine as Kristal. Long told Reed not to talk like that with his grandson here. The reverend wants to know how she is between the sheets as well. Long said they have not consummated the marriage, but tonight he will make her holla, holla, holla.
In the arena:
Michael Cole introduces Rey Mysterio to the ring as he comes down to a great reaction from the fans in Atlanta. Cole shakes Rey's hand and welcomes him back. Cole said he won at Summerslam, took out Chavo in an I Quit Match, and this past Sunday, he came within seconds of winning the World Title. Rey said he can't lie to his people. He wants to say it feels good to back in the ring, and it's been great. He had his first title shot, and came close to winning it, but what can he do. He thinks that he should congratulate Batista on becoming champion, and he is honored to say that Dave is his friend, and they have come a long way. Rey said friends or not, he will become World Champion once again. Cole said he won the World Title at WrestleMania 22, but months later, Chavo Guerrero caused him to lose the title, and a few months after that, Chavo tried to end Rey's career, putting him out for ten months. He asks Rey if he felt that he has gained some revenge with the I Quit Match win a few weeks ago. Rey said revenge is not a strong enough word. He would call it redemption. JBL gets on the mic and said he has never seen such a love fest in his life. JBL said Cole is throwing Rey softballs. Bradshaw said he comes out here saying he loves Batista with his little Mexican tattoos and his little mask. Rey asked if he missed something. JBL said he is a disgrace to the country and to this show. Rey said he doesn't think so. Rey said he put JBL out and retired his ass. All of a sudden he doesn't remember the Retirement Match that they had? Rey took him down and JBL is now retired. Rey asks if he wants round two? Rey said he'll fight. JBL took off his jacket and hat and said he'd been waiting on this for a year and a half. Unfortunately, with his contract as an announcer, Bradshaw isn't allowed to beat up the superstars, but since Rey loves to fight so much, he ran into someone in the back earlier today, because this guy loves to fight. The music of Finlay then hit in the arena as he made his way down to the ring. JBL hands Finlay the mic and then decks Rey in the head with it. JBL laughs and then Finlay picked up the shillelagh and stood over the fallen Mysterio.
Backstage:
The Ying Yang Twins are backstage with Maria and Jimmy Wang Yang comes in. He asks who they are. They said that Yang is their brother from another mother. Carlito comes in but then Chuck Palumbo comes in on his motorcycle, and Carlito runs out of the way. Chuck keeps revving his motorcycle, and then zooms off.
Backstage:
Kristal is backstage with her mother, Vickie Guerrero, Torrie Wilson and Michelle McCool. Jagged Edge come in and kiss everyone. Kristal gets them to sign her CD. Kristal said she can't wait to hear the performance tonight. Jagged Edge said they had a pre-wedding gift, and then sing something for Kristal.
Non Title Match
Referee: Mickey Hensen
Mark Henry vs. Batista (c)
The music of Mark Henry hit in the arena as he made his way down to the ring for this Non Title Match with the new World Heavyweight Champion, Batista, and next week on Smackdown, Henry will face the returning Undertaker once again.
The start:
Henry nailed right hands and then worked Batista over in the corner. Henry nailed some shoulders to the ribs and then charged in, but Batista hit an elbow. Batista hit some right hands and then a clothesline to knock Henry down. Henry came back, nailing headbutts on Batista in the corner, and then hit a splash. Henry nailed another splash and then choked him over the middle rope. Henry scored with a slam and then locked in a nerve hold on Batista.
The Finish:
Batista fought out with shots to the mid section and then gave Henry some boots in the corner. Batista hit a shoulder block from the middle rope, and then scored with the spinebuster. The music of the Great Khali then hit out of nowhere as he made his way down to the ring with Runjin Singh. Batista met him in the aisle and they brawled. Batista ran back and speared Henry down in the aisle, but then Khali nailed Batista from behind and the referee called for the bell.
Winner by disqualification, the World Heavyweight Champion, Batista
The Aftermath:
Khali threw Batista into the ring steps, and then sent him into the ring. Khali nailed a big boot to knock Batista down and then stalked the Animal. Khali locked in the vice grip on the World Champion. Henry then came in and took Batista down with a clothesline. Khali hit the chokebomb and then stood over the fallen World Heavyweight Champion.
In the arena:
The ring is set up for the wedding of the century, as Reverend Bruce Bruce comes down to the ring. Vince McMahon and then Coach come down, followed by the rest of the superstars from all three brands, and they take their seats in the aisle. Arn Anderson, Sgt. Slaughter, Ricky Steamboat, IRS, Gerald Brisco and Pat Patterson are also out there. Hornswoggle then pops out from under the ring with a chair, and he has a phone book on it, and sits it down next to McMahon, and he looks excited to be here as we go to commercial.
Back on Smackdown:
We are back on Smackdown, and we are all set for the wedding. Theodore Long then made his way down to the ring to a nice reaction from the fans, and all the superstars applauded him as he made his way into the ring. His son then came down with Michelle McCool, and Butch Reed came down with Torrie Wilson and Ron Simmons came out with Vickie Guerrero. The reverend then said here comes the bride, and out came Kristal looking beautiful in her wedding dress. Kristal tripped going up the steps and Teddy helped her up. McMahon found that quite funny. We are gathered here today for the holy union of Theodore and Kristal, and before we commence, Theodore has a gift for his bride. Jagged Edge then came out and sang "Let's Get Married". Teddy started chiming in on the mic telling everyone to wave their hands in the air. All the superstars started doing so, as did the fans. After the song, the reverend says now it's time...with that, the music of Jillian Hall hit. Jillian came out and said she is sorry, but she can't allow this beautiful ceremony but that horrendous performance. Jillian said she is going to sing an original. Teddy and Kristal are yelling "NO!" and Jillian starts singing. Candice and Mickie James grab her and take her away. The reverend said now it's time to join them in holy matrimony. Hornswoggle is beating up on Coach on the outside. McMahon tells him off. There is an "Hornswoggle" chant before continuing with the ceremony. The reverend asks them to join hands, and he asks if anyone here to speak now or forever hold your peace if you feel these two should not be married. The music of the Godfather then hit! Kristal is horrified! Godfather marches up into the ring with his girls. Godfather gets on the mic and says it's time once again, for everybody to get aboard the ho train! Godfather said nothing against Kristal, she is a beautiful young lady. Godfather said Teddy remembers all the good times they used to have. Teddy said they had a lot of fun over the years, but there is nothing he wants more than to spend the rest of his life with Kristal. Godfather said we did not come down to the dirty south to go home alone. Godfather asks if there is anyone else who would like to take a ride. Ron puts up his hand and Kristal yells at him. Ron gives us a "DAMN!" Godfather asks the superstars if anyone wants to take a ride, and Godfather marches off on his way. JBL leaves commentary to go with the ho train, and pretty much all of the male roster leave with Godfather! The reverend continues with the ceremony. Long gives his vows and says he loves her. Hornswoggle is fighting with Coach again. Hornswoggle gets in the ring and dives under Kristal's dress. She yells and calls him a little bastard as he runs around the ring and to the back with Coach and Vince in chase! The reverend says it would be best to get to the I do's. He asks Kristal if she takes Teddy and she does. He then asks Teddy and is about to say he does, but then collapses! Everyone checks on Teddy and they can't bring him around. Kristal is screaming as EMT's rush to the ring and one of them said Teddy is having a heart attack. They unbutton his shirt and put a breathing mask on him, and then load him onto a stretcher. Kristal is screaming for Teddy and this does not look good as Smackdown! goes off the air.
