WWE Smackdown! Results - 9/28/07

WWE Smackdown! Opener:
Teddy had a massive heart attack, and is in a coma. He apparently had a history of heart disease, shouldn't the wellness policy have caught that? Vince McMahon names Vicky Guerrero the GM of Smackdown and he has all of the faith in the world in her. Finlay is here and smiles at Vince. They make nice and they agree that they have a lot in common, especially Hornswoggle. Finlay agrees he has problems and they walk and talk.

Torrie Wilson vs. Victoria
The start:
Lock up and Victoria takes her down, gets a reverse chin lock and then into a headlock. To the corner and Victoria pulls her center, Torrie with a reversal and takedown. She steps on Victoria and then gets a cross body and arm drags. A roll up by Torrie for 2. Another for 2. Victoria tosses her to the floor, follows and lays the boots to her. Victoria drops Torrie off of the ring apron. Victoria is booty-licious tonight, and covers for 2. Float over snap suplex gets 2 for Victoria.
The Finish:
Torrie with rights, boot by Victoria but Torrie rolls her up for a close 2. Forearms, off the ropes and a head scissors by Torrie. A clothesline follows and another. X-Factor by Torrie gets 2. Forearms by Torrie, chops and an Irish whip, reversal and boot by Victoria . She misses a charges, drops down on a roll up try by Torrie and gets the ropes and the pin.
Winner - Torrie Wilson
The Aftermath:
Krissy Vaine appears from nowhere and lays the beat down on Torrie! A back breaker by Krissy, drags Torrie to the corner and BENDS her around the ring post. I likes Krissy better with the red hair. She then whips Torrie to the barrier and walks away very proud of herself. Why are we adding more women to Smackdown when the title is on Raw? A valid question I think.
In the arena:
MVP's Peeps and fine ladies are in the ring partying and MVP makes his way to the ring. They take off MVP's coat and it is time for the man to talk. He is in the ring and that means big things poppin and little things stopping. Everyone needs to relax and welcome to the VIP Lounge! Last week was the season premiere of Smackdown and we saw Teddy have a heart attack at his own wedding. Wasn't it ironic that the man that brought heartache to others suffered from a heart attack? He is recovering in the hospital, and if he dies he will e remembered for signing MVP to the most lucrative contract ever. Most of you know, that over the last year I have lived up to the hype and earned every single penny. It isn't because I am better looking, or have a better agent; it is because I am flat out better than you. Tonight is my one-year anniversary. The one-year anniversary of Smackdown's Premiere superstar. I am actually most proud of capturing the tag titles with the man riding my coattails, Matt Hardy. I dominated singles action, and for Matt Hardy it was an honor…Matt Hardy makes his way to the ring. He has a bottle of champagne with him. MVP says if you talk about the devil he will appear. Matt says that he is impressed, this is a hell of a celebration. MVP says he always does it big. Matt says this is not his scene, but he had to be here because they are partners. MVP is the captain! THEY ARE HOMIES~! Matt says he has a gift. He has a special video package made, in honor of MVP.The video rolls and it starts off nice, and then has MVP getting a stunner, knocked out by Holyfield, beaten up by Kane, set on fire, losing to Matt in basket ball, arm wrestling and so forth. MVP is angry obviously, and Matt says he was ribbing him. That's what friends do! MVP is not amused. Matt says they have been champions and Matt is having fun and it is all due to MVP. He gives him the champagne, CRY-STAL! MVP is amazed Matt knows what it is and that he can afford it. The posse opens it up and Matt has a toast for him. "To MVP, one half of the WWE tag champs, who over the last year has proven to be the most arrogant, overrated, arrogant sappy and pathetic man on the roster." MVP tries to kick him out, and Matt says before he gets tossed, he has one last gift. He knows MVP loves proving he is better than everyone, and as the US Champion, and on his one-year anniversary he will have a match with a man he has great memories with. MVP will face his good old buddy KANE!

Chuck Palumbo vs. Kenny Dykstra
The start:
Lock up and a side headlock takedown by Palumbo. Palumbo take shim to the corner, and then runs him to the other. HUGE hip toss by Palumbo. A slam and off the ropes and a elbow drop misses. Kenny up top and a missile dropkick connects. A cover for 2. Kicks to the back by Kenny, basement dropkick and a stomp to the face gets 2 for Kenny. Chinlock and body scissors by Kenny. Palumbo to his knees, stands with Kenny on his back and rams him to a corner.
The Finish:
Kenny with a sleeper on his back know, Palumbo slams him to the corner again. Rights by Palumbo, off the ropes and a back elbow by Palumbo. Powerslam by Palumbo and then a clothesline connects. Rights by Palumbo, Irish whip and Kenny off the ropes and eats an overhead belly to belly. Yakuza by Palumbo, followed by the Full Throttle and that is all.
Winner - Chuck Palumbo
Jesse and Festus:
Jesse and Festus debut next week on Smackdown. Jesse promises that we will see a different side of Festus when the bell rings. THAT is the face of a man that lives to hear the bell ring. About damn time they debut.
Backstage:
Batista joins us backstage. Batista says his strategy is well, he doesn't have one. This is Khali's home turf. JBL says he should admit that he is afraid of the PUNJABI PRISON. Batista says JBL doesn't know that it is dangerous locking him in a cage and backing him into a corner. He will lash out and people will get hurt. He isn't afraid, he is looking forward to it and if Khali wants the title from him he will have to pry it from his dead hands.
Non Title Match

Kane vs. Montel Vontavious Porter (c)
The start:
Lock up and MVP gets an arm. Kane slams him to break that. Kane gets a shoulder block, MVP talks shit and shoves Kane. Uppercut by Kane and slams MVP to a corner. Uppercuts by Kane, off the ropes and MVP bails to the floor. Right by Kane, he beats down MVP, but back into the ring they go and MVP bails again. Back in, a boot by Kane and uppercuts again. Off the ropes and a basement dropkick by MVP. Off the ropes and Kane tosses him to a corner. Elbow by MVP, boots and rights. Suplex blocked by Kane, Kane tries one and MVP counters with a DDT, which looked rather bad. MVP covers for 2. Neck breaker by MVP gets 2.
Mid-match notes:
Rights by MVP and a cover for 2. Chinlock applied by MVP, rights to Kane and another cover for 2. Uppercuts by Kane take MVP down, off the ropes and a back elbow by Kane. Kane up top…MISSES the clothesline and MVP covers quickly for 2. Knees to the back of the head by MVP, and an arm bar. Kane escapes, rights by MVP and he is backed off by the ref. Kane gets a right, slams MVP to the corner and an Irish whip and drop toehold by MVP and Kane hits the corner hard. MVP sets, KAWADA kick caught, clothesline by Kane. Boots by Kane, off the ropes and a backdrop by MVP. GOOZLE by Kane! MVP escapes, off the ropes and they knock heads. MVP to the floor and tries to recover as we head to commercial. Back from commercial with MVP in control, Kane fights to his feet but knocked back down. MVP with a running boot off the ropes to Kane, and covers for 2. MVP with an arm bar, chinlock combo, Kane to his feet, fights out and MVP with a jawbreaker stops that. KAWADA KICK connects this time. MVP covers for 2.
The Finish:
MVP back to the front facelock, clubs away at Kane and poses, was going for the playmaker but Kane nails an uppercut. Irish whip and a corner clothesline by Kane. Another takes MVP out of his boots. Side slam by Kane gets 2. Kane goes up top, MVP nails him with a right, up top with Kane, Kane head butts him off and then gets the flying clothesline. GOOZLE by Kane countered by MVP, Kane to the apron and Kane gets it anyway now and LOW BLOWS Kane for the DQ.
Winner by disqualification, Kane
In the arena:
Rey makes his way to the ring and JBL says he is surprised that Rey is here, but he must have more guts than brains, MACHISMO. JBL says he is stupid, and he plans to ask the hard questions. Rey says he has a question. Rey wants to know what all the hate is about. Asks is it is because he retired him, when he really wants to be in the ring and to be interviewed. JBL says he talks about guys that were half the champion and half as talented as he was. He was the longest reigning champion in Smackdown history. Rey says his problem is that he cannot get over the fact that his career is over. JBL says to speak English, and Rey tells him to put up or shut up. Rey won't be punked out again. Rey wants action, he should try a Tijuana Whore House. JBL says to worry about Khali next week. He says Rey is David, without God or a slingshot. JBL tosses him down, but Rey trips him and then dropkick shim. 619 on JBL! Seated Senton on JBL! That's all well and good, but Finlay hits the ring with the shillelagh and drops Rey.
Backstage:
Vicky meets with Horswoggle backstage, and she says she is in charge here. She says him winning the title was a fluke, and that it has been a joke. Him being their champion makes him a target, and as McMahon a bigger one. She is concerned for him. The guys in the locker room want to take him out, and if that happened and he got hurt, she couldn't live with herself and Vince and Finlay would be devastated. In the best interest of Smackdown he needs to vacate the title. She take sit from him and the little guys looks like he is about to cry.

Shannon Moore vs. Jamie Noble
The start:
Boots by Noble, and then clubbing shots follow. Off the ropes and a leg lariat by Moore. Atomic drop and a dropkick follow for Moore, cover for 2. Noble to the floor, Moore misses a basement dropkick and but they go back to the ring. Moore up top, cross body eats a knee by Noble. Boots by Noble, Boston crab applied by Noble and Moore gets the ropes. WHO'S LAUGHIN NOW BOY?
The Finish:
Moore battles back with rights, a sloppy reversal and a neck breaker by Moore. Clothesline now, off the ropes and a spinning wheel kick by Moore. Moore with a cross body, and then a leg drop gets 2. Moore tries an electric chair, Noble drops him on his face, tossing gut buster and that is all. He needs a name for that.
Winner - Jamie Noble
Backstage:
Khali and Runjin are in the back. Khali tells Batista that he is not a very sportsmanlike individual, and in the Punjabi Prison, he will rape him like he did to men back when he was an officer in the Punjabi Prison system. Also, next week he will have a sporting grappling affair with Rey Mysterio where they will use Greco roman wrestling rules and show what being a true professional wrestling contest can be.

The Undertaker vs. Mark Henry
They go to the floor, they brawl at ringside and back into the ring they go. Rights by Henry, Irish whip and a boot by Taker. Back elbows and rights by Taker. Arm bar, shoulder rams and the wristlock by Taker. OLD SCHOOL caught by Henry, rams Taker to the corner and gets a corner splash. Rights by Henry, clubbing shots to the back now. Rights by Henry, Henry fires back and then eats a clothesline. Elbow drop by Henry gets 2. Off the ropes and another elbow misses. Taker says fuck this shit and delivers rights to Henry. Off the ropes, flying Takerline connects. Corner clothesline by Taker. Chokeslam connects for the win.
Winner - The Undertaker
The Aftermath:
After the match Taker stares down Henry and then poses.
