WWE Smackdown! Opener:

The VIP Lounge is set up in the ring and Montel Vontavious Porter is in the ring with Matt Hardy, Fit Finlay, and Rey Mysterio. Porter says that tonight will be one of the biggest ones ever because the biggest star on Smackdown is being joined by three other stars of the brand. He introduces his co-host . . . and friend, Matt Hardy. Matt calls Porter ‘homey’. Porter then introduces Finlay and Rey Mysterio. He reminds everyone that it is HIS VIP Lounge and he wants everyone to act accordingly. He says that he knows that Finlay and Mysterio have problems so he does not want any unnecessary physicality. Porter wants to hear about the stipulations for the match between Finlay and Mysterio. Finlay mentions the Shillelagh on a Pole Match and says that the only time Mysterio touched a shillelagh was when it was wrapped around his head. Finlay says that Mysterio did put him on a stretcher, but then he got up and knocked Mysterio’s head off. Finlay asks who a No Disqualification Match would benefit. Rey speaks in Spanish and Finlay wants to know if Rey is talking jive or gibberish. Finlay wants to know why Rey is speaking Mongolian and tells him to speak English. Rey says that he is bilingual so he can speak English, Spanish, and Spanglish. In Ireland they do not teach Spanish, so he will translate. Rey tells Porter not to worry so much about his match but what about Porter’s match with Hardy. Matt says that he is looking forward to their match but Porter is not as excited as Matt. Porter talks about their friendship and then he says that he does not want to have to beat Matt Hardy at Cyber Sunday. Matt says that what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. Matt talks about the stipulations. Matt brings up the Mixed Martial Arts Match but Porter tells Matt that he does not want that match because Jim Kelly is a cousin of his. Matt then mentions the Boxing Match and Porter says that we don’t want to see Matt get knocked out again, but Matt reminds Porter that he was the one to get knocked out. Porter denies that it happened. Hardy says that he would love to have a good old Wrestling Match. Porter says that he does not want that because we know that Porter is better than Hardy. Porter brings up the tag team match tonight. Porter says that they get along well enough to keep their titles. Finlay pushes Rey and Finlay says that he does not need Mysterio. Matt tells Finlay and Mysterio that they might be dysfunctional but him and Porter are the Most Functional Dysfunctional tag team in the WWE. Finlay calls them Laurel and Hardy and then he pushes Mysterio again. Mysterio goes after Finlay and they fight in and out of the ring. Rey hits a running senton onto Finlay from the apron.

Backstage:

We go to the interview area where Batista is the guest. He is asked about Bradshaw’s interview and we go to footage from last week. We see Batista spearing Bradshaw followed by Bradshaw’s comments after the attack. Batista is asked for his thoughts on Bradshaw’s comments. Batista says that Bradshaw got what he deserved last week. Everyone knows about his history with the Undertaker. Whoever is selected as the referee better stay out of his way. Batista is asked about the comments that he is afraid of the Undertaker, but he says that he is not afraid of the Undertaker. He might have never beaten him, but there is a first time for everything. We go to commercial.

Referee: Charles Robinson
Kane vs. Mark Henry

The start:

They lock up but Henry hits Kane in the face instead. Henry kicks Kane in the ribs. And then Henry hits a clothesline. Henry misses an elbow drop but Kane does not miss with a drop kick and he gets a two count. Kane tries to slam Henry but then he realized that his ribs are hurt. Henry with a forearm and then he slams Kane followed by a boot to the back. Henry with a head butt to Kane followed by a hard Irish whip and Henry signals for the bear hug and he applies it on Kane.

The Finish:

Kane tries to get out of the hold but Henry runs Kane into the turnbuckles. Kane with a kick to the head followed by uppercuts. Kane sets for the choke slam but Henry punches Kane in the ribs. Henry gets Kane up for a power slam but Kane gets out of the hold and then he hits a choke slam for the three count.

Winner - Kane

In the arena:

We go to the announce table as we see the buttons for Bradshaw to be referee. Bradshaw vows that Batista will not be the champion at the end of his match on Sunday if he is referee. We go to a video package for Mick Foley since he is one of the options for referee. We go to commercial.

In the arena:

Michael Cole is by the entrance and he talks about Diva Search: The Silicone Menace. Cole says that he met with the two finalists and they cannot wait to come out to be with the fans. He says that they know the fans control their destiny and future. Out first is Brooke and out next is the other finalist, Eve. Cole says that they had the opportunity to play nice on Raw, but tonight, it is time to play naughty. Cole says that they will have thirty seconds to tell everyone why the fans should not vote for the other. Brooke goes first and then Eve gets a chance for her rebuttal. Cole tells us that we will find out the winner Monday night on Raw.

Non Title Match
Referee: Jim Korderas
Finlay and Rey Mysterio vs. Matt Hardy and Montel Vontavious Porter (c)

The start:

Hardy and Finlay start things off and Finlay is forced into a clean break by the referee. Finlay with a side head lock and Rey tags in. They lock up and Rey with an arm bar and Hardy reverses and has Rey in a hammer lock. Porter makes the tag and he punches Rey and connects with an elbow to the head. Rey with a kick to Porter and then he goes for Porter’s legs. Rey with a satellite head scissors and Porter is sent into the corner. Finlay and Hardy tag back in. Finlay goes for the leg but Hardy with a front face lock until Finlay gets back to his feet. Hardy with a side head lock and shoulder tackles.

Mid-match notes:

Hardy works on the arm and Rey tags in. Rey with a kick and punch to Hardy. Hardy with a clothesline to Rey and then he slams Mysterio followed by an elbow drop for a two count. Porter is tagged in and he kicks Rey in the corner and goes for Rey’s leg. Rey goes to the floor and Finlay goes over to motivate Rey to get back into the ring. Porter puts Rey’s leg in the ropes and the referee pulls him out of the corner. Rey with a drop kick to the legs followed by a snap mare and Finlay is tagged in. Finlay with knees to Porter’s back followed by a slam for a near fall. Finlay with another knee to the back and then he gets a near fall. Finlay with a hard Irish whip and then he hits a seated senton on Porter’s back for a near fall. Rey is tagged in and he hits a slingshot splash from the apron for a two count. Rey goes up top but Porter crotches Rey and then he throws Mysterio to the mat and he gets a near fall. Porter works on Rey’s knee and gets a near fall. Porter with an Irish whip but he charges into a boot. Rey tries for a wheelbarrow move but Porter with a wheelbarrow driver for a near fall. Finlay breaks up the cover and Hardy goes after Finlay. Porter tells Hardy to let him take care of things. The referee yells at all four men as we go to commercial. We are back and Hardy with forearms to Finlay in the corner and the referee tries to pull Hardy off Finlay. Porter tags in and he kicks Finlay. Finlay rolls to the floor to regroup. Finlay shows Porter no respect by wiping the sweat from his brow and throwing it at Porter.

Porter throws a punch at Finlay but Finlay with a single leg take down and Porter with a front face lock and Finlay gets out of the hold and wants to make the tag but Rey refuses. Finlay yells at Rey on the apron before returning to the ring. Porter with a shoulder to Finlay in the corner but Finlay with a punch to Porter and Rey is tagged back in. Rey with a kick and forearm followed by a snap mare and drop kick for a near fall. Rey with a snap leg drop followed by a head scissors. Porter gets out of the hold and he works on Rey’s knee. Porter slams Rey’s knee into the mat and then he rolls to the ropes but Finlay kicks him back into the ring. Hardy tags in and Matt tries for Splash Mountain but Rey counters with a rana. Matt pops back up and hits a clothesline for a two count. Hardy is bleeding from the forehead. Matt hits a Side Effect for a near fall. Rey backs Hardy into the corner and Finlay is tagged in and he goes for the wound and connects with forearms. Finlay with a knee that runs Hardy’s face into the mat for a near fall. Finlay kicks Hardy in the head and the referee checks on Hardy to see if he can continue. Finlay with a kick to the head followed by a short arm clothesline.

The Finish:

Rey is tagged in and he takes his time and lets Matt get to his feet. Rey with a drop kick to the back and Matt is sent into the ropes. Porter makes the tag but Rey with a tilt-a-whirl head scissors that sends Porter into the ropes next to Hardy. Rey with a double 619 and then Rey tries for the springboard seated senton but Porter moves out of the way and when Rey lands, he is met with a shillelagh to the midsection by his tag team partner. The referee misses this because he is busy checking on Hardy. Porter hits the Playmaker for the three count.

Winners, the WWE Tag Team Champions, Matt Hardy and Montel Vontavious Porter

Backstage:

Armando Estrada and Vickie Guerrero are in the office and Armando talks about the working relationship between the two shows and he thanks Vickie for allowing the ECW Triple Threat Match to take place tonight. He says that he has some final things to do before the match and he leaves. Jamie Noble enters the office and he wants two minutes with Vickie. He says that he has tried to open up and confide but he has been put in matches with the Great Khali and Undertaker. Noble says that Vickie has been making some rash decisions and Vickie wonders if Noble thinks it is because of her hormones. Noble says that he deserved that. He knows how hard it is to be on the road all the time. Noble says that he sees the tension that she has building up and he knows that it gets lonely on the road. Noble says that he gets lonely on the road. Vickie asks Noble how he would handle it and Noble tells Vickie what he would do and he whispers it in her ear. Vickie calls Noble an animal and she has an idea. They sit on the couch and Vickie says that she has an idea for a match. Noble thinks that it will be a ‘match’ with him and Vickie in the bedroom. Vickie has different ideas and Noble will be facing Batista. Noble wants to know why she is violating him and his body. Noble says that he will be splattered after a Batista Bomb. Noble gets frustrated at opening up to a woman who has lost her mind. We go to commercial.

Non Title Match
Referee: Mickey Hensen
Jamie Noble vs. Batista (c)

Noble wants to leave as the bell rings but the referee has him stay in the ring. Noble has some words for Batista and then he kicks and punches him. Batista with a spear when Noble charges at him and then Batista hits a spinebuster. Batista shakes the ropes and then he hits the BatistaBomb for the three count.

Winner, the World Heavyweight Champion, Batista

The Aftermath:

After the match, Batista leaves the ring and stands in front of the announce table and Batista yells at Bradshaw while Bradshaw ignores Batista and talks about weather.

Triple Threat Match
Referee: Jim Korderas
Mike Mizanin vs. John Morrison vs. Big Daddy V

The start:

Morrison and Mizanin discuss strategy and Morrison pushes Mizanin into Big Daddy V. Big Daddy V with a chop to Mizanin and then Morrison jumps on Big Daddy V’s back and he slams Morrison. Big Daddy V with a head butt to Mizanin and then he Irish whips Morrison into Mizanin. Big Daddy V with a running splash into the corner and then he clotheslines Morrison and Mizanin over the top rope to the floor. Big Daddy V puts Mizanin and Morrison against the ring post but he misses when he charges at the post.

The Finish:

Mizanin with a kick to Morrison and then he runs Morrison’s back into the ring apron. Mizanin and Morrison return to the ring and Morrison hits a version of an enzuigiri for a near fall. Morrison punches Mizanin and then he puts Mizanin in a rear chin lock. Mizanin sends Morrison into the ropes and Mizanin uses Morrison’s back as a springboard and he drops Morrison’s throat on the rope. Mizanin turns around and he is met with a clothesline. All three men are back in the ring and Big Daddy V with a Samoan drop to Morrison followed by a Black Hole Slam variation on Mizanin. Big Daddy V with an elbow drop to Mizanin for the three count.

Winner - Big Daddy V

In the arena:

Some Kansas City Chiefs pretended to wrestle at ringside.

Jesse and Festus vs. Steve Fender and Joe Hennig

The bell rings and Festus turns from drooling simpleton to vicious monster. Festus with a slap to his opponent followed by an Irish whip and he catches his opponent on a floatover and knocks his partner off the apron. Festus puts him in the Tree of Woe and Jesse is tagged in and he hits a drop kick. Festus tags back in and he connects with a knee and tags in Jesse. They hit a rocket launcher forearm for the three count.

Winners - Jesse and Festus

In the arena:

Bradshaw goes to the ring for his interview with Undertaker as we go to commercial.

In the arena:

Bradshaw says that in two days the fans have the golden opportunity to be a part of the biggest landslide since Nixon/McGovern. Bradshaw will be back in a World Championship Match. Before he interviews Undertaker, he wants to talk about something important and that is him. He says the people are uneducated and poor compared to him. He says that he will take care of his loyal and subservient fans. He thanks them from the bottom of his heart and educates them that there is only one choice for an event of this magnitude. He mentions the Glorified Stuntman who keeps retiring and coming back in Mick Foley. Then there is the self proclaimed Toughest SOB Steve Austin. In order to further their education, he has a gift for the fans and we see a video package for Bradshaw. Bradshaw has some gifts for the fans. He has t-shirts that read ‘Vote for JBL’. Bradshaw says that he has a shirt for Undertaker and then he chants JBL and the fans add sucks after each one. Undertaker’s music interrupts the celebration. Bradshaw tells Taker that he did not expect to see him come out so early. Taker moves towards Bradshaw and he backs away. He tells Taker that he will guarantee his victory on Sunday and he asks Taker to show his allegiance by putting on his shirt. Taker removes his jacket and hat. Bradshaw gives Taker the shirt but Taker does not accept it. Bradshaw reminds Taker that he has beaten him before. He says that he is a WRESTLING...Before Bradshaw can finish Taker hits a choke slam on Bradshaw. Batista’s music plays and he comes to the ring. Batista takes off his belt and he wants a piece of Taker. Batista with a spear to Taker but Taker sits up as Batista walks to the back. We go to credits.
