Hi everyone! Who’s ready for SD? Am I alone?

    • Xavier

      I’m here

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Xavier, what are we going to argue about tonight?

        • Xavier

Alberto Del Rio of course lol

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

            Oh, of course!

    • David Jr.

No Baseball game tonight, so I’m here.

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I have to say you made the right choice last night.

        • David Jr.

Because Impact was that bad or because you heard the game that Verlander had?

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Impact blew chunks in a huge way.

          • Xavier

            No Hogan?

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

No Hogan, but it was Dixie who really wrecked it.

          • Xavier

Oh okay, I’m so behind on TNA it’s not even funny.

          • The Breaker

I don’t know if the episode as a whole was really all that bad. I think it helped them take a couple steps forward in selling BFG. Dixie continued being an abomination on mic though. She was so bad they were giving her massive X-Pac heat!

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

The did push BFG, but I thought the matches were greatly lacking.

          • Xavier

Verlander is a straight up beast. But I fear he won’t get enough run support against Boston in the next series. Boston is very scrappy and they find ways to win even if it’s ugly

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

            Yes, we do.

          • Xavier

            Your a Red Sox fan?

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Yeah, when you live in Maine, they are the closest team. I like other teams, but for location, Red Sox are closest, and my family loves them.

          • Xavier

They will more then likely win it all. I got them and the Dodgers in the WS.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

After all the years that they didn’t, I have to admit it’s nice to see. I loved watching them win it all, for the first time in so many years, with my daughter, just after I took her from her father, so it has a sweet spot in my heart.

          • David Jr.

Red Sox have had two this century, the Tigers haven’t won since 84, let the Tigers have a chance.

          • Xavier

Me too, I hate the Yankees, so it was cool to see them come back from down 0-3 to win. You couldn’t write a better script then that.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

It was so much fun to watch, a great story, and such a bonding experience for us.

          • David Jr.

Verlander’s facing Lackey in game 3 in Detroit, so that’s the one game I’m actually the least worried about.

    • Alex Gallardo

      I’m here as well.

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

        Alex! Great to see you!

        • Alex Gallardo

          Nice to see you too.

  • Xavier

I always wondered why Del Rio & Vickie were never paired together. I think that could of worked

    • Alex Gallardo

I don’t think it would be a good idea to redo the same storyline that Dolph and Edge had with Vickie again. Because that’s probably the route they would take.

      • Xavier

True, but it could of at least brought some type of heat to Del Rio. Vickie was/is a heat magnet

        • David Jr.

I actually think Vickie Guerrero is better as a manager role than the GM role, so it’s not a bad idea.

          • Xavier

            Agreed

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

            I also agree.

    • The Breaker

No doubt she could draw massive heat for him. But it still won’t make him compelling in any way.

  • David Jr.

Are they turning Damien Sandow face?

    • Xavier

I wouldn’t count it. I think he’s cashing in on Cena, with Cena chasing for awhile

      • David Jr.

I don’t even know how the Damien Sandow character could work as a face anyway.

  • The Breaker

So the rumors are true… they’re turning Sandow?!

In the immortal words of Jesse….. BAKA!!

    • Alex Gallardo

Sandow was born a heel. I’m not sure a babyface run could work for him.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I agree with you, but with the few faces right now, I’m interested in seeing how it might work.

      • The Breaker

It is kind of alarming when you realize that one of the top faces right now is Big Show.

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

It’s sad! Things are really rough right now. When they’re feeding Kofi to Orton so that he has a face to abuse, there’s a problem.

          • The Breaker

They really do need Cena back.

  • Xavier

For some reason I really thought R-Truth was gonna turn heel on Monday. His pairing with Punk seemed so random

    • David Jr.

I would have prefered CM Punk vs. R-Truth at Hell in a Cell than CM Punk vs. Ryback again.

      • Xavier

Same here, never thought Punk/Ryback had good chemistry in the ring together anyway. But I’m not sure if Truth is credible enough of an opponent. Personally I think this Punk/Heyman stuff was doomed from the second Lesnar/Punk ended

        • David Jr.

Lesnar vs. Punk in reality should have been the end, not the beginning.

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I agree with that, but I have to say I really enjoyed the chemistry between R-Truth and Punk. Sorry I got all quiet, I was reading up on R-Truth.

    • Alex Gallardo

There is a possibility he could be involved at HIAC. He wasn’t in the commercial for nothing.

  • The Breaker

JBL just called Axel Heyman’s “Chosen One”, so maybe that’s foreshadowing for Drew McIntyre to become his next Heyman Guy…! Okay, so there’s no chance of that happening. I do want to see Drew be pushed again though.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Drew is one who just hasn’t been able to get over, but really deserves a real solid try, not just fluffing it off when something doesn’t work in two weeks.

  • Xavier

    OLE!

  • The Breaker

I heard that Ricardo’s working tonight.

  • Alex Gallardo

It seems like it’s been a while since WWE have used local jobbers.

    • David Jr.

I don’t think they are local jobbers.

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I’m not behind on the show, but I have no clue what you’re talking about.

        • David Jr.

The two people Los Matadores are fighting. They aren’t local jobbers.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I see them now. No clue why I’m behind you guys.

    • The Breaker

The one on the apron is Ricardo Rodriguez under his “El Local” gimmick.

      • Alex Gallardo

Really? I never noticed that. He does good job at hiding it.

        • David Jr.

The other one looks like Tyson Kidd.

          • Alex Gallardo

Well then I guess I’m wrong there. But why the hell is Tyson a jobber?

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

            Getting a TV bonus?

          • Xavier

            No charisma

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Thank you! I’ve said that all along and caught crap for it! He proved no charisma on Total Divas.

          • David Jr.

I agree, the one who showed he has charisma on Total Divas is John (not sure which Uso he is).

          • Xavier

I like the Usos a lot, they are both very gifted and talented. If they weren’t twins I’d say they both have a solid feature as singles stars.

          • David Jr.

Has there ever been a bad Samoan wrestler?

          • Xavier

            Lol good point

          • Xavier

Now this is a kodak moment, me & you agreeing on something lol.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I bet there’s a lot we agree on, just not ADR.

          • Xavier

            True

          • The Breaker

It’s a shame because he’s such a talent in the ring.

          • Alex Gallardo

Perhaps. And I’m not even a big fan of smaller wrestlers, but I still think he deserves a little more than this, they could put him in the IC title storyline.

          • Xavier

Wouldn’t hurt anything. Honestly, WWE has so many wrestlers on the payroll right now that aren’t being used at all. That’s why I was still in favor of the brand split. I was shocked to find out last week that Evan Bourne & Ezekial Jackson were still on the roster.

          • The Breaker

No way they’d use Kidd like that. He’s on Total Divas and they’d probably want to use him to plug the show.

          • David Jr.

Why not, its not like it hurt him, since most people probably don’t realize its him. And he can wrestle, so it helps get Los Matadores over.

          • The Breaker

True, I could just see WWE wanting to capitalize and use him normally if they had the opportunity to book him on the show.

        • The Breaker

He is really is great at taking on the gimmick of an announcer that has barely any wrestling ability, when he can actually go quite well.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

If I hadn’t known, I wouldn’t have known. Stacy was in shock when I told him it was Ricardo under there. He moves so differently!

    • JeanAE

I really hate that one of those masks on Los Locales is Ultimo Dragon’s mask..

  • Xavier

Random Question: Does JTG ever wrestle anymore? don’t even see him on NXT, Main Event or Superstars

  • David Jr.

Interesting note, or maybe just a note, WWE still has Primo and Epico listed on there roster page.

  • The Breaker

Maybe Eva Marie will get tagged in so she can…. not sell. Because whatever it is she does, I can’t call it wrestling.

    • David Jr.

She made Jackie Gayda’s early career look great.

  • David Jr.

So what’s the point of this Divas match? Aren’t they all faces?

    • The Breaker

It’s just to waste time so that Cole can promote Total Divas on announce for 5 minutes.

  • Xavier

I could watch Naomi all day, just saying

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

      I missed Naomi? Ugh!

      • Xavier

        She picked up the pinfall

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I missed the whole match, but I love watching Naomi.

          • Xavier

Me too, I think our reasons for enjoying watching her though are different though lol

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

She has a fantastic body. I’m in awe. But her skills are great too.

          • Xavier

Agreed, I think with the right amount of training she could be really really good in the ring.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

And she’s better than most of them already.

  • David Jr.

I like Renee Young as a back stage announcer, who’s the greatest backstage announcer in WWE history?

    • Alex Gallardo

I would say Mean Gene Okerlund.

      • Xavier

        Can’t argue with that.

      • David Jr.

Yeah, you’re right, that’s the answer.
In the words of the Hulkster, Well you know Mean Gene.
Or if you prefer Flair. Mean, Woooo By Golly Gene.

    • Xavier

      Todd Pettengill

    • The Breaker

      Funaki!

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

        I miss Funaki!

        • The Breaker

Smackdown’s number 1 announcer will always have a special place in my heart.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

            Mine as well.

  • Alain Alfred Corpuz

What’s up with Sandow turning Tweener?

    • Xavier

I think that’s just a temporary thing until Cena returns at HIAC. Gives Del Rio something to do in the meantime

  • David Jr.

Why doesn’t Sandow wear his pink trunks for Breast Cancer Awareness month?

  • David Jr.

Got quiet all of sudden in here.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Xavier might tweak, but this match is actually interesting. I loved how ADR sold his missed enziguri in the corner.

      • Xavier

        LMAO

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I never said ADR couldn’t do it, just that he hasn’t been doing it.

  • David Jr.

Does anyone think the Goldberg Ultimate Collection is a must have?

    • The Breaker

Not to me, but I’m just not a fan of his.

      • Xavier

Amen, I agree. Goldberg can kick rocks for all I care. He constantly craps on the business that made him rich & famous and is a real life A-hole

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

And his contract wasn’t renewed because he was such a bloody diva backstage and VKM didn’t want to deal with him being such a prima donna!

          • Xavier

Yeah, his run in the WWE was a financial flop as well

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

      I actually snorted there!

      • David Jr.

        Not a Goldberg fan?

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Nope, and he sealed the deal at WM against Brock.

          • David Jr.

I hated how he said how the WWE misused him. He barely loss. HIs only losses I believe were to Triple H, in an Elimination Chamber match and a Triple Threat match, and he was a World Champion.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Exactly as I said, he’s a prima donna!

    • Alex Gallardo

I’ll get my hands on anything that’s classic WCW. I’ll even watch WCW 2000.

  • David Jr.

Is the WWE fans 40% Female?

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I’d be shocked by that seeing what I see online and at big events, but smaller local events usually have more like 50% women up here.

      • David Jr.

Being that John Cena, said it, You’d think he’d know more.

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

It’s obvious that the IWC has a very low percent of women.

          • David Jr.

Well its good that there are some.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I will take that as a compliment.

          • David Jr.

            I meant it to be.

  • The Breaker

Cena is really good with promotional stuff like that, especially when it comes to all the work he does for all the great causes he donates his personal time towards. He’s the perfect face for WWE when you consider that.

    • David Jr.

When it comes to the stuff like that, John Cena’s probably the best in WWE history.

  • David Jr.

Anybody watch Main Event on Wednesday? 3MB actually won a match.

    • Xavier

      Lol yeah, that shocked me

      • David Jr.

I said before the match started, well Tons of Funk will be getting the win.

    • The Breaker

I saw that. Not quite sure what the reason for the booking was there.

  • Xavier

Lol what the hell kind of dance was that

    • The Breaker

It was supposed to be the Millions of Dollars dance, but Khali is awkward whenever he moves.

      • Xavier

        LOL oh okay

  • @Funkatastic The Mike McCarthy

Been a while since I watched smackdown live instead of dvr, I used to watch live every week because Booker T was on commentary, wish they’d bring him back.

    • Xavier

Awwwwwwwwww man. Booker T was so over the top on commentary it was great. I never thought his execution was all that good but you could tell that he was really having a good time out there and really enjoyed calling the action/

      • @Funkatastic The Mike McCarthy

        shucky ducky, quack quack

  • @Funkatastic The Mike McCarthy

anybody else just see Edge? Lol

    • David Jr.

Yeah he’s on the show after Smackdown called Haven, Kendra and I both watch it.

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

        Love Haven!

        • David Jr.

As do I, its great to see a retired wrestler have success after wrestling, too.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I sometimes forget it’s Edge, and I think that’s the greatest compliment I can give. I’ll be so into the show, then suddenly he will give a look and I’ll be shocked back into realizing it’s him.

          • David Jr.

I think he’s done great this year in a bigger role.

  • David Jr.

This is an odd main event.

  • The Breaker

Goldust & Cody vs The Wyatts? Very interesting!

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

      So excited!

  • The Breaker

Cody just doesn’t fit in with all the gimmicks in the ring right now. He’s so normal!

  • @Funkatastic The Mike McCarthy

    can’t wait for this one

  • Xavier

Is it just me or are Smackdown crowds a lot less smarky & boisterous?

  • The Breaker

I really like Harper’s yeahyeahyeahyeah chanting. Simple but fitting for his creepy character.

  • David Jr.

What’s the chance there is a clean finish in this match?

  • Xavier

The ring work with the Wyatts just isn’t there, like at all.

  • The Breaker

It’s the first Wyatt Family pinfall loss!

    • Xavier

      I believe so

      • The Breaker

        Not counting NXT, of course.

      • David Jr.

        Michael Cole said it was.

  • The Breaker

I honestly wasn’t all that impressed with tonight’s show, which sadly has been the recent trend for the Blue Brand.
