Hey, how is everyone this evening? Are we expecting much from SD tonight?

    • Alex Gallardo

Eh, just another Smackdown if you ask me.

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I’m thinking the same thing, but still better than nothing.

        • Alex Gallardo

That’s for sure. I almost always find at least one thing I like in a wrestling show.

          • Adam Wacker

Been hearing good talks of that main event, though. Looking forward to it.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I always try to go into each show with a positive attitude. Sometimes it’s been hard, but I try!

          • Alex Gallardo

I thought Raw was pretty good this Monday so WWE has kept me interested.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Raw was really good, Impact had a couple of lovely moments, but otherwise really blew chunks. The end was horrid!

    • David Jr.

Smackdown is going to be awesome tonight. John Cena’s going to be on.

      • Alex Gallardo

John Cena is awesome to you?

        • David Jr.

          Sure, I like John Cena.

          • Alex Gallardo

I have no problem with it. I like a lot of things the IWC hates too. I’m just glad this site is diverse and different than those sites where there are just robot smarks repeating each other. He’s a great person.

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Whether you like the character or not, the man really is awesome.

          • David Jr.

Also Damien Sandow may have wrestled his best match to date against John Cena.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

May have? That match renewed my faith in my beloved Sandy!

          • David Jr.

Ok change may have to had.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Yeah, I was worried that his matches were becoming too ADR – scripted, cliched, predictable – but he threw that out Monday night.

          • Alex Gallardo

He is, but I just can’t help but dislike his character and how they book him.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

The character pisses me off to no end, but he’s a lovely man.

          • Alex Gallardo

            Exactly.

  • Xavier

Nice, there are people in here tonight lol. How’s everyone doing?

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Excited to be back hanging out with everyone and watching SD!

    • Alex Gallardo

Good. Even though I try to always be positive since life is too short to have bad days.

  • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

He’s in cargo shorts, not jorts, and has been all week. So, do they go better with pink?

    • Xavier

      Not at all lol

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Though few men can wear that much pink and look that tough – other than Hart Foundation.

  • Xavier

He’s showing more of that Boston swag from 2002-2005.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Well, can you blame him for showing off some Boston swag right now?

  • David Jr.

So since John Cena is now a 14 time World Champion (11 WWE and 3 World) the question isn’t if he’ll pass RIc Flair, it almost should be when will he pass Ric Flair’s 16 World Championship reigns?

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Honestly, I thought it would be Trip who passed Flair, but Cena is ‘the man’ that few have been, other than Flair, Austin, Rocky. Honestly, I could see it happening.

      • David Jr.

Cena has an advantage too since he’s been “the man” in a company that has 2 recognized World Titles.

  • David Jr.

John Cena vs. Antonio Cesaro – YES! YES! YES!
John Cena vs. Jack Swagger – NO! NO! NO!

  • Alex Gallardo

God I hate these promos where Cena tries desperately to make funny jokes but fails. Antonio Ceasaro’s nipples aren’t funny.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Actually, I like the way Cena’s carrying himself. They are not funny, but the whole Biff thing about had myself, Stacy and our newest kid (teen girl) on the floor laughing. BTW – She thought wrestling was real until she went to her first live show and saw Cena working against Ryback in a Tables Match leading up to their 3 Stages of Hell Match. But now she’s back loving it with us. Then again, it’s either that or hide in her room to avoid all the wrestling we watch.

      • David Jr.

I agree with the Biff thing, I loved the Why don’t you make like a tree and get out of here line.

  • Alex Gallardo

I still can’t believe they had Sandow lose and put over Cena. They took away a star that’s more refreshed.

    • David Jr.

I think the match with Cena made him more of a star than had he done like other MITB winner did.

    • Xavier

Not at all. Sandow stock has gone up since Monday, that was Sandow’s best match in the WWE. However I do agree that Sandow should of went over but in no way is this the end of Sandow

      • Alex Gallardo

But WWE just had Sandow put over Cena and ruined what could have been a good cash in. I doubt they’ll have Damien beat Cena anytime soon.

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

They might not, but Sandy proved himself and he’s going to be climbing quickly from here after proving himself Monday.

          • Alex Gallardo

We’ll see. But I just think that they should have had Damien cash in and win.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

If they held off his cash in, maybe, but this early he couldn’t win, especially against Cena.

  • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Just before the Excuse Me! I asked where Teddy was.

    • Xavier

She set the tag match channeling her inner Teddy Long.

  • David Jr.

Ok so Christmas is less than 2 months away, anyone need to get a wrestling fan a gift but don’t know what to get them. Well I have your thing.

  • Xavier

I predict that Roman Reigns will be a face by Mania. He’s a future main eventer in the making. I think he’s the guy who becomes the star of the group. I know most will say Ambrose but I had this inkling that it’ll be Reigns.

    • Alex Gallardo

Roman as a face might not work out. I just think he fits better as a heel.

      • Xavier

Gonna have to disagree there. But I guess we shall see I guess

        • Alex Gallardo

          It’s all in the future.

        • David Jr.

Roman Reigns reminds me alot like a young Rocky Maivia.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

We’re just sitting here talking about Reigns and how huge me could be in the E, and that he has a future that few expected when he came in greener than goose poo a year ago. That man has grown in leaps and bounds, faster than most.

    • Adam Wacker

I’m thinking that Roman and Seth will break away carrying the Shield name as faces, feuding with Ambrose. Dean would be champion, so he would proclaim himself as the real Shield, while Rollins and Reigns try to maintain the team.

  • David Jr.

When Big E. Langston turned face, I think it was good for his career, then when Axel got hurt (I don’t like seeing a guy get hurt), and Langston was turned to feud with Ambrose instead is even better for him.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Completely agree. Big E has shown he’s a natural face in NXT, and his heel work on WWE TV was greatly lacking. He was only good when he was showing interesting sides of himself – faking out Kaitlyn, mooning over AJ.

  • Xavier

Reigns is breaking away from the Shield for sure

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Looks it to me, and Ambrose’s comment about being the only one in The Shield with gold was obviously a shot at the other two, so that might also help the issue.

      • David Jr.

I knew they eventually had to break up, but I was hoping for a Shield vs. Wyatt Family that would lead to the break up.

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

That’s hard as they’re both heel factions.

          • David Jr.

I’d have the Shield turn a semi face team. Leading to the feud, but Ambrose turning on Reigns and Rollins leading to Ambrose vs. Reigns.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

But that leaves Rollins in the cold. That’s the problem with three, one man can end up odd man out.

          • David Jr.

I’d love to see Rollins feud with Punk or Bryan.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I’d love that, and would love to see Ambrose feud with either of them.

          • David Jr.

All three should have successful careers. Now will they be the next Rock, Austin, Hogan or Cena? All of three them no, but one might and the other 2 could an HBK, Bret Hart, Y2J or Kane.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

            You mean Drunkicho?

          • David Jr.

Yep, I know he mentioned about his tweet. But did you read about Drunkicho in his book?

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

No,I haven’t. I wish more wrestlers made their books into audio books. I prefer to read fiction, and listen to the wrestlers read their books while I’m in the car.

          • David Jr.

I can’t remember exactly what it was about but he talks about Drunkicho in his 2nd autobiography.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I have to read more of them, I just prefer them read in their own words. I think it adds so much more to the stories. I’ve even listened to Hogan’s first book!

          • David Jr.

Hogan’s first book was ok, his 2nd was laughably bad. The only one worse than his 2nd book, I’ve read was Chyna’s.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I haven’t read her’s, but I tried to read Hogan’s second one, got to the point that he claimed that steroids don’t cause roid rage, or have any adverse effects on your body or brain. I had troubles not throwing the book through the window.

          • David Jr.

Oh Chyna’s book tells you how great Chyna is and how WWE did nothing to make her into a star. She gives a little credit to Hunter and Sean Michaels (I know that’s wrong but that’s how it is written in the book).

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

When did it come out? Was it while she was still with the E, or after?

          • David Jr.

2001. They are selling some on Amazon for no joke. 1 Cent.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

            Dang!

        • Xavier

It’s possible we might get a stand off between the two factions during the Rumble match.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

            That would be very cool.

  • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Looking at where Big E was busted open, he’ll be lucky if he doesn’t get a scar from that one.

    • Xavier

I agree, that cut looked deep.

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I’m sure they did a great job stitching him up, but it looks like it’s going to be tough to heal. I think his skin tone is going to add to the scarring as well.

        • Xavier

I agree, I got a cut from a knife on my hand when I was 16 that’s still there. It’s almost gone but the fact that it took about 13 years for it to get there shows how are long it takes for those types of things to heal

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Incisions from surgery are different, and I have a lot of those, but I have a scar on my thumb from the smallest slice about 5 years ago, and a major scar on my collar bone from a simple cat scratch. Sometimes they just last, but something about the location on Big E’s face, and his skin tone, I see it scarring.

  • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Shit! The kitten has another bat!

    • David Jr.

      What?

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Sorry, we have three kittens, and somehow bats keep getting into the house, and one of the kittens keep catching them. Watching the match and I hear chittering and Stormy walks through with a screaming bat in her mouth. I guess it’s better than it flying around, and at least Stacy is here to take care of it, but the bats are getting ridiculous!

        • David Jr.

I thought you meant a baseball bat at first.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Nope, and Stacy lost the bat after he made her drop it. So now I’m on alert.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

And how could a kitten carry a bat?

          • David Jr.

Is that a joke about the Tigers? I know, that’s why I said what? now it makes sense to me.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Nope, no joke. My brain is on this little kitten, not baseball.

          • David Jr.

Did the bat bite the dust?

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Nope, Stacy made her drop it and it got away. So now he’s trying to find it!

          • David Jr.

After I hit post, I remember you saying she dropped it.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Yeah, it’s in the storage room, somewhere.

  • David Jr.

The way HBK dresses now, he would fit into the Wyatt Family.

  • David Jr.

The Money in the Bank DVD, is it going to have every MITB match? Even the first one?

  • Xavier

People throw around the word “buried” around here like it’s the word “THE” but Miz is one guy for sure you make that case with.

    • David Jr.

Some in the IWC probably said Cena buried Sandow last Monday.

      • Xavier

Of course they did. Everytime Cena wins a match he’s burying that person according to the IWC.

    • Adam Wacker

I’m pretty sure they are leaning towards Orton vs. Miz for the WWE Championship.

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I really hope not. That would be the easiest match to predict!

        • Adam Wacker

Obviously Miz wins in 18 seconds, becomes face of the company and makes every Superstar and Diva add twerking to their moveset.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I think I threw up a little in my mouth.

          • David Jr.

From the Twerking or from Miz being the face of the company.
(Even though I find it hilarious that they call Randy Orton the face of the company since it still is John Cena).

      • Xavier

I don’t think that’s the route they are going. Maybe a match on Raw or Smackdown but I don’t think an actual feud though. Big Show or even Ziggler are better options at this point.

  • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Why do they put sofas in the ring? No one ever sits in them!

    • Xavier

      LMAO good question

  • Xavier

Hey Kendra, what’s the record for most post on a Smackdown watch party on here?

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I think it’s 154? Let me go look.

      • David Jr.

        Isn’t it like 250?

        • Xavier

Damn, really? I wonder what episode that was

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

          255, you’re right.

  • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Dolph not only did his roots, he put in a pink streak! It’s even on the right side! I’ve had a pink streak on my right side since I was 18. Too many people recognize me after 15+ years because of my streak.

  • Xavier

No disrespect to the divas but no diva match is complete without Naomi. Can’t get enough of her lol.

  • David Jr.

Natalya is either teaming Khali losing to Fandango and Summer Rae then is making the Divas Champion tap out, they don’t know what to do with Natalya.

  • Xavier

These WWE exclusives are actually pretty good.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I really don’t hit their site, or the app very often. Maybe I should do that more.

  • David Jr.

So we have the face of the WWE in John Cena, a veteran who looks as good as ever in Goldust, 3 potential main Eventers in Cody Rhodes, Antonio Cesaro and Damien Sandow. and um a Jack Swagger.

    • Xavier

      Lol

  • David Jr.

Any Attitude Era fans who wished to seen the Brood vs. Oddities feud can kind of see a portion of it after Smackdown.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

      Haven!

      • David Jr.

Exactly, with Edge and Kurrgan on it now.

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Kurrgan is on now? What did I miss?

I have a lot of old used action figures, and it took me months to figure out who his figure was.

          • David Jr.

He’s been on 2 episodes this season so far.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Who does he play? Trying to place him.

          • David Jr.

The first episode, Audrey (or Lexi) saw him in the bar (or barn) with the other guy. And I don’t know if you saw last weeks episode yet, but he was in it too.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

OH! I know who he is! Wish I could get into my wrestler crate and pull him out. I could line him and Edge up on my desk and have them fight during the show.

            I’m such a dork!

          • David Jr.

They have to have them fight on the show this year.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Sadly not while they’re standing on my desk!

          • David Jr.

I only have an Edge figure, so me neither.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

My Edge is a solid figure, so it won’t work well. And Kurrgan’s hips swivel all the way around quite freely, so it would be a strange fight. I need another Edge figure.

          • David Jr.

You’d probably have an easier time finding an Edge, than me finding a Kurrgan.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Check ebay, I’ve seen a couple there, mostly in lots. That’s how I got mine. He was part of a lot, and as I said, it took quite a while figuring out who he is.

          • David Jr.
  • Xavier

    Good tag match here

    • David Jr.

Will 2013 be remembered for the 6 man tag matches?

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Most likely, but some of them have been just fantastic, with some of the smartest pairings, and the best teams!

        • David Jr.

I’ve never seen so many good to great 6 man tag matches in one year (with the Shield leading the way).

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Usos and Rhodes right there with them.

      • Xavier

Quite possibly. 2013 is the resurgence of the tag division

  • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Goldy lost most of his paint tonight.

    • Xavier

      Ultimate Warrior style

  • Xavier

Impressive swing by Cesaro and wicked spear by Cena

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

      Just a lovely match.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

      Just a lovely match.

  • Xavier

Cena/Cesaro would be a great match up

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Hopefully the powers that be are really taking note of Cesaro’s skills and we will see him getting pushed the way he should be. I’ve loved him since ROH, and I was to see him succeed. Facing Cena one on one would be great!

  • Xavier

    Ya’ll have a blessed weekend, I’m out.

  • David Jr.

I found out recently that Dustin Rhodes had his first run in the WWE around the same time Undertaker was making his debut.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

He’s been around for a long time. That his body has held up through all his drug issues is amazing. He looks better than ever these days. Kane does also, he’s looking svelte!

  • JJ

Hate this burying of Miz, that’s twice he’s just been attacked and Idk the last time he won a match. Sandow thank you for being our new saving grace END THE CENA ERA!! #bringwrestlingback

  • kingdook24

Don’t get me wrong, I am a Cena guy – always have been, & always will – I know this will be downvoted simply because of that. But even I didn’t like how Cena was just simply inserted into a Main Event Championship Match & won it. Then on Raw, he defeated Sandow with basically one arm – it made Sandow look weak as he already has been in previous weeks, and it made ADR look weak. However, Cena holding the WHC does get it value & presitge because ADR is like watching paint dry – he couldn’t draw heat if he walked into the White House claiming he was a terrorist. ADR was really dragging down the WHC – he’s fantastic to watch in the ring, but he’s below-average in every other category.

Lastly, the Miz. I seriously can’t put my finger on this. Miz has been stuck in mid-card for a minute now, jobbing, destroyed & being embarrassed by practically everyone he’s had a program with. I mean, this dude is a former WWE Champion, headlined WM & won against Cena. I was watching some of Miz’s past promos & whatnot when he was WWE Champion… I loved that version of Miz. What happened to that Miz? Is WWE planning something big for him & we just don’t see it, or is he getting the Ziggler treatment – just stuck in the doghouse? IDK – but I’m sick of it.
